“Thank you, Dawn” Elliza said cheerfully as she accepted a cup of coffee from the blonde who hummed softly in acknowledgement before handing a cup to Gabriel who had his arms folded on the table and a very prominent pout on his face.
“Aren’t you going to have any?” Eliza questioned as Dawn took a seat at the table earning her a slightly dramatic huff from the blonde.
“I can’t stand the stuff, Gabriel’s lucky I even let it into my house” She remarked and Eliza laughed while Gabriel smirked a bit in amusement before his pout returned with a vengeance.
“I can’t believe you ratted me out to my sister, that’s a low blow” He huffed childishly which made Dawn laugh while shaking her head fondly.
“I did no such thing, your son and his best friend did” She replied teasingly which made Gabriel groan and thunk his head down on the table.
“I still can't believe how much chaos you caused, Gabriel, I’m so disappointed” Eliza huffed as she gave her brother a stern look, to which he just lifted his head and gave her a tired look back.
“Was the three-hour scolding not enough for you women? Jesus, you are not my mother” He groaned which made Eliza’s expression harden.
“And you are lucky I’m not, she would have grabbed you by the ear and dragged you across this whole server and forced you to apologize to anyone you had even mildly inconvenienced” She remarked sternly which made Gabriel shudder slightly while Dawn laughed.
“Now that is something I would have loved to see” She giggled brightly, making Gabriel smile ever so slightly.
“You're a lot like her actually, the overbearing mother hen and the stubborn mama bear energy just exudes off of you” He said teasingly as he nudged Dawn’s arm who rolled her eyes fondly.
“Considering you two were enemies not too long ago, you get along surprisingly well” Eliza remarked as she glanced between them with a warm smile on her face.
“Being stuck with only her for company has forced me to tolerate the little shit” Gabriel remarked dramatically as he leaned back in his seat which earned him an amused eye roll from Dawn.
“Right you tolerate me, that’s why you rushed into my room while I was having a nightmare and then spent the night comforting me. Because you tolerate me” She remarked teasingly and Gabriel blushed ever so slightly as he waved his hand dismissively.
“Okay so I’m a little fond of you, but that’s only because you saved my life and not because I find you endearing or anything” He huffed dramatically and Dawn went to respond only for Eliza to choke on her drink catching both of their attention.
“Saved your life? What?” She questioned worriedly as she glanced between the two of them, Gabriel glanced at Dawn confused while she winced.
“Theo and Ezran were more interested in telling her everything you did that neither mentioned what happened in the Camarvan” She explained uncomfortably which made Gabriel wince before he glanced back at his sister.
“I uh almost died Elizabeth, my bad habits caught up to me and if it hadn’t been for Dawn I would have had a heart attack on my birthday” He explained softly and Eliza paled drastically.
“What?” She whispered horrified and Gabriel sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck.
“I’m doing better now, Dawn’s magic kept me stable enough until I could get proper treatment from Aspen and they said if I keep it up I’ll be back to full health in no time” He said optimistically but Eliza still looked like she was going to be sick.
“I would have come here looking for you and you’d have already been dead” She muttered more to herself than to them, other than Theodore who she had never officially met until today Gabriel was her only family left and she had almost lost him without ever knowing.
“You saved him” She mumbled as she glanced at Dawn who shifted in place slightly.
“I helped him save himself” She tried to explain but Eliza didn’t listen as she stood up and pulled her into a tight hug while tears streamed down her face.
“Thank you!” She sobbed as she clung to her tightly and Dawn patted her back comfortingly only to stiffen up when she glanced her head right next to her scent gland allowing her to get a strong whiff of her scent.
“You're an Omega” She said in surprise as she pulled away and Dawn sighed slightly in frustration.
“I’m just not allowed to keep any secrets on this server” She muttered to herself as she reached up to slip her mask off.
“Was that supposed to be a secret?” Eliza asked worriedly as she fully pulled away and Dawn sighed before giving her a comforting smile.
“It’s supposed to be but honestly at this point, half the damn server knows” She remarked with a slight shake of her head which made Gabriel snort in amusement.
“Everyone who hasn’t figured it out by now is honestly so dense, I mean you are like the poster child for a protective Omega” He remarked teasingly which earned him a slightly unimpressed look from Dawn.
“You only figured it out because I had to use an extensive amount of magic on you, if it wasn’t for that you would still think I was an Alpha like everyone else” She drawled to which Gabriel just waved his hand dismissively.
“Irrelevant” He said casually which made both Eliza and Dawn laugh.
