Toph: So is Logan still in one piece?
Zuko: Yes unfortunately
Sokka: Arven wouldn’t let us actually kill him
Zuko: Techno and Sally got pretty close and I wouldn’t be surprised if Ezran gave him rabies from all of the raccoons he hangs out with
Toph: How would Ezran give Logan rabies?
Aang: He bit him
Toph: Pictures please tell me one of you got pictures
Suki Sent A Picture
[Ezran is latched onto Logan’s hand who seems to be screaming]
Toph: This has significantly made my day ten times better
Suki: It truly was a sight to behold
Toph: So Julian what’s going on at home? I know you were really mad at Logan so are things awkward now?
Sokka: I’m staying over at Eric’s until Logan gets his head out of his ass
Zuko: I’m very jealous
Aang: You can come over whenever you want Soren
Zuko: It’s not the same! He gets unlimited cuddles!
Sokka: So will you if you get your ass over here
Zuko: Yeah!
Toph: You guys are adorable
Suki: To an almost sickening degree
Aang: Thanks!
Toph: I’ll be right back someone’s banging on my door
“Theo? What’s wrong?” Dawn asked worriedly as she opened her door and saw a distressed-looking Theo standing there.
“I think somethings wrong with Ezran” He said worriedly his breathing sounding a bit shaky and Dawn furrowed her eyebrows in concern.
“Take a deep breath and explain” She said softly and Theo nodded a little bit as he took a deep breath.
“We were messing around at the park after terrorizing Noah and Ezran started complaining that his back was hurting but we didn’t think much of it because we were carrying a bench, we stole a bench by the way, but when we got back here it was hurting a lot more and now he can’t move!” Theo explained rapidly and Dawn’s eyes widened in surprise as her mind ran a mile a minute, choosing to ignore the comment about the bench for now.
“Bring me to him” She said seriously and Theo quickly leds her to the living room where Ezran was laying curled up on the couch with Vesper and Ezekiel hovering nearby.
“Ezran? Can you show me your back, Bud?” She asked softly as she crouched down next to the couch and Ezran grunted as he struggled to turn over but once he did shocked gasps filled the room.
“That is so much blood!” Ezekiel freaked as he gripped his hair tightly while Vesper and Theo looked like they might be sick. Dawn furrowed her eyebrows in thought as she ripped off Ezran’s shirt and placed her hand on his back before she turned to look at Theo.
“Call Cyrus!” She ordered ad Theo blinked in confusion before pulling out his phone and dialling Cyrus’ number.
“Shouldn’t we call 911?” Vesper asked anxiously and Dawn shook her head as she turned her attention back to Ezran.
“They won’t be able to help with this” sHe said offhandedly as She snapped her fingers in front of Ezran’s face to keep him awake.
“What do you mean they won’t be able to help?!” Ezekiel questioned in alarm and Dawn turned back to look at them with a reassuring expression on her face.
“His wings are growing in, only an avian can help him right now” She explained gently and their eyes widened in shock while Theo relayed this information to Cyrus who seemed shocked.
“Wings?” Ezran mumbled sleepily and Dawn turned back to him as she rubbed his back gently hoping to ease some of the pain.
“Yup your wings are growing in, this all completely normal Ez. I’m a little surprised your family didn’t warn you about the pain” She confirmed and Ezran blinked sleepily at the couch.
“We didn’t think I’d get wings, too old” He mumbled his eyes slipping shut but Dawn just snapped her fingers in front of his face forcing him to stay awake.
“You need to stay awake Ezran, sleeping will make the process much more difficult” She explained softly and Ezran nodded tiredly as he curled a little more into himself.
“How do you know so much about this Dawn?” Theo asked curiously as he slipped his phone back into his pocket and an uncomfortable expression briefly appeared on Dawn’s face.
“I’ll tell you later” She muttered simply and the trio shared confused looks but decided to not push the subject just as the door burst open and Cyrus rushed into the room.
“Ezran!” He cried out as he fell to his knees next to his son as soft coos escaped him. Dawn stood up and lead the trio out of the room.
“Let’s give them some privacy” She mumbled softly and they nodded only glancing back briefly at their friend to see if he was okay before being brought into another room where they would have to wait it out.
"So tell me about this bench" Dawn requested and the trio chuckled sheepishly.
