Dark blue and silver
The perfect Anthony, if I remember right, was standing in front of a big door with an eagle “Ok first year this is the entrance to the common room. But to get in you have to answer a riddle. So we are going to have…… Percy, why don’t you give it a try.” he said.
Suddenly all eyes were on me. It was a test. To see if a Weasley could really be a Ravenclaw I suddenly feel hands on my shoulders. I look up to see Aran looking down at me, “Hey don’t worry about it you will do great” he whispers as he starts to lead me to the front. stepped up to the door the eagle head moved down to look at me then its mouth opened.
“What has to be broken before you can use it?” it asks.
Ok there is a lot of this that can let me think. A pinata breaking is its use, glow sticks but they are muggle and you snap them so that it’s not broken, then it hits me.
“A egg”
The eagle head moves up and its wings close as the door turns and opens. I got it right. “So cool.” I hear. As I look behind me I see Penny looking at the door with ora, Audrey is giving me a congratulating smile, and Aran is giving me a thumbs up. But Anthony is the reaction that makes me the most happy, his face softens and he gives me a nod. I was a Ravenclaw Percy was a Ravenclaw, no Weasley’s are Gryffindor's not Percy, me, I am a Ravenclaw and No can take that away.
“Well come boys with me and Anthony, ladies with Jean and Ivy.” Aran smiled with glee. All the older kids nod. “Come on girls follow me. Ivy will make sure none of you are left behind” one of the girls said Jaen. The girls started following her up the stairs, after a minute Penny walked up to me. “See you in the morning Percy” she smiled before she grabbed Audrey’s hand and walked past me. “Goodnight Percy, it was lovely meeting you. And I'm glad that we are friends” she whispered the last bit. “Yeah me too. Goodnight see you two in the morning” I say. As we finished we said goodbye till the morning Penny pulled on Audrey’s hand as she started running to catch up with the over girls.
The other girl Ivy followed them. But she suddenly stops in front of Aran “Aran do not take this little friendship too far” I hear her threaten. “I won't, I swear. I just want to get under you knows skin. But you have my word it won’t go too far.” he says.
Ivy gives him a look.
“I swear it. I am not cruel and it’s not his fault I know that.”
“Ok I will hold you to that though”
“Won’t expect anything less from you.” he smiled.
While that was weird, oh God I am too tired for fifth year drama. “Can we go and find dorms now? Yawn. I’m tired” a boy behind me asked. Clearly I was not the only one over the drama that we have nothing to do with. “Yes, let's get you all to your rooms.” Anthony said as he started leading the way up the stairs.
The stairs leading up to our dorm were nothing special, just a typical wooden staircase that spiraled up the town. The walls had some banners, statues and candles to decorate and light the way. We passed one door that was bright blue, then passed a silver one, then we stopped at another blue door a bit dark then the last. Aran smiled at all of us as he walked over to the door. “Ok boys, something you need to know before we let you into your dorm, don’t worry it will be quick. One, all your stuff is in your rooms respectively. Two, Your rooms have your names on them so don’t get any ideas about stealing or sharing them. Three is no class tomorrow or the next day so unpark, make friends, find out where your class are. And that’s it right Anthony” he paused to look over to Anthony to see if he missed anything. “No, I think that's everything.” he answered. “Ok well go on” he said as he moved away from the door. All the boys looked at each. After a moment it was clear that no one was going to, I took a breath and walked up to the door.
When I opened the door I knew that Ravenclaw was the right choice. The room had three couches that were royal blue that were all facing a table that was in the middle of the room. The carpet had an intricate pattern and the ceiling had a canopy, it was the same dark blue as the couches but what made them stand out was the silver stars they had on them. There was also a window that I already could see was an amazing view and doors with names on them that were probably our rooms respectfully. But that’s not what made me know I made the right choices. No it was the bookshelves that did, there were more books in this one room than I had ever seen in my whole life.
“Awesome right?” Aran asked smugly.
“yes. There are so many books” I say far too quickly and far too happily. But right now I don’t care, this. This is awesome. “Yes, yes there are. And you can start reading them all tomorrow but right now you all need to get some sleep. So come on spit spot go find your rooms.” Anthony smiled for the first time all night. But he was right. Oh wait. Ravenclaw town is higher than Gryffindor that means.
After that all the boys behind me started to walk into the room looking around just as enchanted as I was. Looking for their rooms or the books but I didn’t. That is something you can do tomorrow after all. No tonight is the only night for a mouth.
I walked past all the doors and walk over to the window. Tonight there was a fall moon and the sky is clear.
Charlie had said the view from Gryffindor town was the most amazing sight I will ever see. And if it is anything like this view I have to agree with him, the stars and the moon are so pretty.
“Enjoying the view I see.” Aran asked as he kneels down next to me. “Charlie is always saying it is the best view in the world, the night sky from Gryffindor tower.” I say. “Oh I see. Well, do you want to hear a secret.” he asked, I nodded looking at him. “The view from Ravenclaw tower is even better. And I will tell you another thing, your room is the only one with a window.” he whispered.
“What”
He moves back out of the way of the name on the door closest to the window. ‘Percival Weasley’ was engraved in a silver plaque, my room was the closest to the window on the left side. I walk over to the wood door hesitating a moment before I open it.
The room was the same size as my room at home if not bigger but not by much. The walls and ceiling are the same dark blue as the entrance room which was to be expected. The floor was wood, clearly old and worn but that just added to its charm. The bed was bigger than my one at home, it had basic grey sheets with a royal blue blanket at the end. The bed frame cut into the wall giving me a little shelf just above where my head would be. And above the shelf is a cupboard for more storage, and now that I notice a little room under my bed for more. And the whole room is currently being lit up by the moonlight shining through the window that is in the center of the room.
It was like Anthony said my stuff was in the room too. It was perfect, not too big with lots of space, a nice color that makes my mind calm, and a window for fresh air.
“It’s perfect”
I say without really thinking. “Well I am glad now, come on. Off to bed so me and Anthony can say we did our job and go to bed ourselves.” he laughs. “Aran don’t push it” Anthony threatens. “Goodnight Percy if you need something just come get one of us or one of the girls. The rooms are five staircases up, the girls are the silver door and the boys are the dark blue door ok” he tells me. “Okay” I smile back at him before I head into my room.
It was perfect. Well almost perfect, his family accepting him or not caring that would make it perfect. But right now he can’t control that or them he just had to hope that it would all work out. “Hello Scabbers, how was the animal car on the train? Did you make any friends? I did two actually and tomorrow we are going to try and make more. I know I am being greedy and lazy too, wanting more friends and expecting Penny to do all the work. Oh right Penny and Audrey that's my friends names. I think you will like them. Well I better get ready for bed.” I give him the rundown of everything that has happened.
After I moved the cage that he was in on to the floor so that I could get into my trunk. I get out my pajamas but I know even before I put them on, I know I am not going to be able to sleep. I have nothing to distract me from the thought that my brothers were mad at me, that my family were going to be mad at me.
I don’t want to think about it, but I can’t get it out of my head and when I can’t get something out of my head I can’t sleep. “Well I guess no sleep tonight Scabbers.” I say.
When this happens at home I do one of two things, one reread a book or sneak out of the house for some fresh air. “I guess I am going to go explore, don’t go anywhere while your gone” I tell him jokingly, I mean were is Scabbers going to.
I grab my P jumper that my mum made me just before I get up and start heading out to look around. As I am about to open the door I hear the sound of arguing, there are two no there are three. It's hard to tell what they're saying but they're definitely arguing.
“He —- m— bro–ther"

"Both*** yo*u****stop it***** Ar*n’s **right"
"—he’s— one—"

I know the smart thing is to go back to my room and that eavesdropping is wrong, but I am Bill Weasley’s little brother. So I carefully open the door trying my best not to alert them to my presents.
“Charlie I am aware you and Aran don’t get along but he is not dragging your brother into… this” Ivy says. Wait, Charlie and Aran don’t get along… wait Charlie here. “You can ask him yourself. Come on out” Ivy calls out a little louder than before.
Oh shit I been court. I open the door all the way. and I am instantly the focus. I see Ivy, Aran, and my brother.
