The Dragon King

I knew I had to get Harry his birthday present before we went home this year in case something happens like it did this year so I wanted to get it down but when I asked Professor McGonagall about it she just told me to leave making me sigh so I was distracted the whole time for the next few days but I was paying attention but only barely in most classes but when it came to Potion's it had me full attention unless I could take my mind away for a moment to think about what to do about Harry's birthday but apparently I was still to distracted according to Professor Snape since he came up to my table making me freeze. "Stay after class Mr. Potter." I gulped looking at him, "Yes sir." before going back to my potions worried before looking at Harry upset but still completed my potion just as the class ended since I didn't want my grade in my favorite class to drop. Then I started putting my things away once I had the portion bottled and ready to turn in along with cleaning up all my equipment before waiting for when everyone left so that I could find out what Professor Snape wanted from me, so once everyone was gone he got up before shutting the door, "I've placed up silencing spells and anti-eavesdropping spells so no one can listen in on what were about to talk about, so pray tell me what has you distracted?" I looked at him before sighing telling him everything along with the reason why I was distracted, "I've never been to Hogsmeade, and while at Diagon Alley we didn't really get to look around much so I don't know all the shops there so I'm not sure what do to do now and if I don't get him something soon I won't be able to until after our birthday since we won't be able do anything wizard-like until we return next year." I said looking down at the desk while flinching slightly when Professor Snape sighed, "Why didn't you go to your Head of House?" I snapped my head up at him looking annoyed and upset, "I did! She just shooed me away when I asked about this... and I didn't want to ask the elder Weasley's because exams are coming up so I don't want to distract them with this." Professor Snape sighed before nodding while I looked upset, "Meet me here again Friday after your classes." I nodded before leaving knowing I'd upset him with all this since I was the only student other than Draco who seemed to have a passion for Potions. So I told Harry that I had gotten a detention with Professor Snape that Friday night for being distracted in class so I'd be helping him out with gathering potion ingredients in the Forbidden Forest after classes on Friday which had Harry nodding already knowing there was something else as well since he knew this was a dream for me while Ron and Hermione seemed to be mad at Professor Snape about it. "Would you guys lay off Professor Snape? We've already found out that he's not the one behind all this just like last year when none of you believed me." That shut them up for a bit before we headed off to lunch with me wondering why Professor Snape really wanted to see me this Friday but I also knew that I had to tell him about my little idea for this weekend and why I was meeting with him so i wrote him a note about it before going to bed that night knowing it was going to be a long day for me with everything going on and with us still trying to figure out why the student's kept getting petrified but something about it stood out to me since there was only a few creature's that I could think of that had the unique ability and one of them would be deadly for us to even try to stop... which had me worried that Dumbledore really wanted us dead rather than it being just a 'test' but I knew we would still have to go down there towards the end of the year. When Friday came around I went to class pretending to be down but was just slightly happy wondering what Professor Snape was planning, especially after I gave him the note with the idea about the meeting being a detention so when I arrived at his classroom door he was leaning against it before telling me to follow him as we headed off to the Forbidden Forest where we met Hagrid with a bunch of crates. "I'll be shrinking all of them but one which you will carry as we fill it with the potion ingredients we gather, thank you for watching everything Hagrid." Professor Snape said nodding to Hagrid who smiled at us both as we walked into the Forest but when we got far enough in where no one could see us Professor Snape took my crate before shrinking it and putting it away. "Were far enough now, were going to side-along apparate, have you done this before??" I looked at him confused wondering what he was talking about, "I've never even heard about it what is it?" I asked tilting my head to the side making Professor Snape sigh before he grabbed my arm kinda roughly before I felt a tug in my gut before we landed in an alley and thanks to Professor Snape I didn't hit the ground since he still had a hold on me, "It'll get better the more you use it." 

I nodded before he took me out of the alley to see that we in Diagon Alley which surprised me, Professor Snape then guided me to Gringotts where we waited for an open goblin but while we were waiting one came over to us, "Mr. Potter, did you arrive here after getting our latest letter to you but where's your brother?" I looked at him confused wondering what he meant, "What letter's?" I asked looking at him before looking at Professor Snape before we were taken to a different room where I was told to take a test to find out was happening since it would tell us everything which when it came out shocked all of us, since there was more on there than what we had previously thought and a lot more than what we had been told about.

I looked at the parchment shocked, hurt, and confused wondering why this was happening since most of everything was being done by those who we thought were our friends which had me knowing this needed to change right away since I was not about to let this keep going, "Professor Snape can you go and get Harry so we can get him checked out to see if theirs anything like this in him, while I go and get a cleansing and healing." He nodded before leaving while I was escorted down to a room before going down into a room but I felt like this wouldn't work so I looked at the goblin's, "I'm sorry but I've got a feeling that this place won't work for my Cleansing I'm not sure... but maybe something that you guys wouldn't mind being destroyed if it happens?" the goblins thought about it before taking me to a different room deeper into the bank before letting me go inside which had me sighing before they began the Cleansing and that's when the pain shot threw me which had me screaming out, I don't remember much after than but when I woke up again I was in a bed with new clothes on me which had me confused but I felt different which had me sitting up only to see a mirror a few feet near me so I got up before walking over to it see that I was now taller than before along with being more muscular but something else seemed different. It was then that the goblins came in which had me looking at them still confused by how I looked 

I thanked them for the clothes before asking what happened but the goblins told me that I should sit back down that I was still recovering from my Cleansing so I did as they asked especially since they were doing so much for me that I felt I needed to listen to what they were saying however when I sat back down another goblin came over to me which had me looking at him wondering what he wanted. "Hello Lord Potter I am your family account manager Bonecrusher I would like for you to do the Inheritance Test again so that we could see what was taken off and what needed to be addressed afterwords." I nodded before doing the test again which showed everything the same except for the vault transcripts which I immediately put a stop to but I was happy that the blocks, potions, and compulsions were out of me but I was stunned when I read something at the bottom of the parchment before looking at Bonecrusher again stunned. "What does Creature Inheritance mean?" He looked at me, "A Creature Inheritance means that you have creature blood in your family, there are lots of books that can explain it a lot better." I nodded thanking him but was stunned with what was written next to it, "What does it mean when it says that my creature is a Dragon King?" Bonecrusher literally fell off his chair which had me looking at him shocked not knowing what was going on, before he told me to wait before running out of the room only to return moments later with a different goblin but this goblin I could tell was different. "Lord Potter this is our King Stonecrusher he will be explaining everything to you." I nodded looking at him as he began talking about how long ago there had been a king for the Drak clans but he had vanished long ago which means me returning now would have them going crazy since no one has seen or heard anything about the Dragon King being resurrected like this.
