The change
3rd person pov
As Harry is walking around the the chamber he spots ginny on the ground seemingly dead. Worried he runs up to her placing his wand on the ground in his panic. "Ginny?!" He yells shaking her "wake up!" He continues
"She won't wake.." says a young misty teenage snake boy
"Who are you?" Harry asks before noticing he has his wand "give that back!" He yells trying to grab it
"This is mine now, he won't need it anymore.." the Misty boy said as he gestures to a large snake statue
The boy begins to hiss out 'open the door to end ' which causes the statues mouth to move. Coming out of it is a large clearly old snake who glares their golden eyes at him.
"How?" The boy questions as he notices that Harry isn't stone despite the basilisks eyes on him.
Not quite understanding the situation but knowing it's bad, Harry quickly finds a sword. This gains the snake's attention causing it to attack Harry at a rapid speed. Using all his might, he slams it into the basilisks mouth. This causes a fang to pierce his shoulder but ends the snake's life.
"NO! how did this happen!?!" Exclaimed the boy not that Harry noticed
For the poison from the fang was much faster and stronger than expected. He fell to ground loosing his grasp on the sword and started to breathe loudly and fast. The boy watched as this happened with much glee and started talking about his dominance.
Which again went unnoticed by Harry as the pain was eating him up. Rapidly black lines began formed onto his skin from the bite, spreading both up and down. He feels the poison enter his left eye causing the most pain he ever felt. This causes him to scream so loud that it breaks the boys monologue.
What Harry didn't know was the pain wasn't entirely from the poison but instead from the fangs coming from his mouth. Or was it the ears peeking up from his head? Or it might have been the tail bone ripping out from within him and forming a proper tail? Regardless he wouldn't know due to the fact that he passed out still breathing hard.
The boys pov
'creature inheritance? I didn't know he could have one..' the boy thinks before realizing he passed out 'prefect..' he thinks before walking closer to examine him, he sees the ears and tail first. 'neko, a fully submissive being, that wants nothing but happiness for their mate. To think you were supposed to be my end..' he starts thinking before noticing something odd about his skin. He leads down to get a better look only to find scales of light greens. ' a hybrid then..' he thinks
'i wonder what kind of hybrid you are?' he thinks for a few minutes before switching topics. "Now what to do with you? " He thinks out loud before noticing that the ritual was done. " Finally!" He exclaims turning his attention to ginny. He goes to her and he kicks Ginny's now dead body. "Thank you foolish girl for both our magic and Harry Potter" he says with a large grin before walking over to the unconscious neko.
'nekos will always be the most vulnerable when they first become nekos as with most species. So this should work ...' he thinks as gets to him and pulls his head up. 'do this and he will never fight against me ever again.!' he thinks as he bends his head down and kisses him. This kiss causes a ring to appear on each of their ring fingers. 'yes! It worked now and forever more, you are my mate, my prize!' he thinks as he holds his new toy for a few moments.
Before noise of chatter and footsteps alert him that he is no longer alone. So he puts his prize on the ground and hides the ring on his finger with a spell. ' I'll see you soon, my prize ' he thinks with a grin before walking over to a wall and opening a secret path.
3rd pov
As soon the path door closes, Dumbledore, Ron, Snape, and McGonagall burst into the chamber room. They all see the dead snake with a book sitting on the ground next to it. Before they can even think, Ron spots ginny and takes off to her. " Ginny!!" He yells as gets to her
The others rush over with Snape noticing a very different Harry Potter lying on the floor a bit a way.
Snape's pov
He heads over there noticing he has breathing rapidly and so he walked much faster. When he reached Harry, he noticed that he had unlocked his inheritance which shouldn't have happened for several years. ' that's not good, what could have caused to activate so early?' he thinks
He hears "She's dead!" Which breaks him out of his thoughts causing him to turn to see Ron weeping over Ginny. He turns back to Harry now seeing the black lines on his body instantly noticing it's poison. ' poison? What kind could it .... Basilisk poison...' he thinks putting the pieces together instantly.
"Dumbledore!" He shouts gaining the others full attention "we need fawks now!" He finishes
