It had been a full year since the end of the so-called Gold Rush games and Spud Muffin’s Truth being revealed. that he had been the one to cause burgertron to fall into the lost and found and caused the whole lost bots to break the sacred rule of the mall.
but in the end he was sent to the dark side of the mall and had not been seen for an entire year.
meanwhile things had actually been going well for the botbots.
Dave the human security guard simply pretended that they didn't exist. even though some mysterious woman did try to find out if they did exist. Fortunately, after a while she gave up and left the mall.
Now the Lost bots were an official squad and began hanging out with other squads much more regularly and everybody began treating them with respect.
especially after all they have done for the mall.
But currently Kikmee, Dimlit, Clogstopper, Burgertron and Bonz-Eye we're walking through the mall as Burgertron Smelled the air.
“ You know I enjoye this smell.”
“you mean the smell of the industrial sized Sync I just helped the custodial crew unclog? yeah that has a pretty good smell.” Clogstopper Said as he also took in a deep smell of the quite frankly horrible stench coming from him.
“ No, not that. I mean the fact that it's been a year and nobody has given us grief over anything. I really think everybody's really accepted us as an official squad.”
“Definitely!” Kikmee said with a lot of energy. “ I've been able to hang out with the jock squad from time to time and believe me those guys can really run circles around you guys. I mean they barely run circles around me but still it's amazing being able to hang out with them!”
“yeah…” Dimlit said as he nervously began turning his light on and off. “ The Shed heads ask me to help them out a couple of times to get them some extra light. I've also been able to hang out with Jacqueline A whole bunch too. It really feels nice to just walk around without people whispering about me. I'm just lucky she sees me for who I really am.”
“Well you're the sweetest guy we know.” Burgertron said while crossing his arms with a smile. “ It's only natural she would fall for somebody like you.”
Dimlit blushed as he began rubbing the back of his head. “ And what about you sir? How is your relationship going with the hunger hubs?”
“ pretty good actually. Although me and UIF Are still working through some… trust issues, things are going pretty great. and what about you Bonz-Eye. I've noticed you've been hanging out with the sugar shocks a lot recently. at least I've seen you go over there a couple of times. is that your favorite squad to hang out with besides us of course.”
Bonz-Eye Didn't reply as she continued walking past the rest of her squad who had stopped to ask her the question.
“ What I do with my time with them is not really something I want to talk about. And don't think I'm trying to Bottle up my emotions Kikmee. I'm just… not ready or certain about what happens with me and the sugar shocks.”
Kikmee wanted to say something but respectfully remained quiet. She had learned her lesson after the whole Snorg Rampage incident.
What nobody realized, not even the sugar shocks, was that both Bonz-Eye and Lady Macaron Have been hanging out a lot in the past year. just the two of them.
after their little… adventure in the dark side of the mall where the two of them learned that Bonz-Eye Came from a store that had long since shut down before the energon cloud ever came. thus she never had a squad and would forever be a one of a kind bot belonging to no squad. at least before the Lost bots became an official squad.
still she sometimes did feel a little bit lonely but Lady Macaron Luckily was there to help her out joining those moments of loneliness.
A few hours later the Lost bots alongside with all the other bots Returned to their respective areas in the mall.
as the Lost bots transformed into their little homes to rest for the day Bonz-Eye Was rudely awoken from her sleep when she noticed a human had taken her from The Lost and Found.
“ Where is this flesh creature taking me? Has somebody come back to get me?”
she asked herself in her mind. but fortunately she would not go far today.
because the flesh creature had placed her in the sugar shocks home store. Apparently the owner of the store wanted to liven up the store a bit and put Bonz-Eye on the counter where people came to scan their items.
The botbots fortunately could see in their alt modes and so Bonz-Eye was able to see the whole store. She saw Lady Macaron Who was hiding along with several other macarons that were not Transformers.
The two of them looked at each other and smiled without letting the flesh creatures know. but that was until lady macaron got picked up and put in a bag and began being scanned out!
She wanted to do something but she couldn't. with so many flesh creatures it would be impossible for somebody not to notice her.
She had to wait for hours until the store closed.
When it did, all the sugar shocks went into a panic. worried about the Fate of their friend.
Bonz-Eye Was also worried and immediately went to the rest of the lost bots for help.
When she arrived She immediately explained everything to her friends.
Burgertron Put a gentle hand on her shoulder and gave her a sympathetic look.
“Look Bonz-Eye As much as it hurts to say this there is nothing we can do to get her back. once somebody is scanned out there's a very slim chance of them ever being seen again.”
Bonz-Eye immediately pushed burgertron's hand away.
“ I cannot accept that. I will bring her back no matter the cost.”
Bonz-Eye said as she marched out of The Lost and Founds office and began making her way towards the exit of the mall.
She really had no plan but she could not let one of her fellow botbots suffer a terrible fate without having something to say about it.
but fortunately she would be given a helping hand.
“Wait Bonz-Eye Wait!” Bonz-eye Looked back to see Lolly Licks running up to her with a big black box looking thing made out of leather and a piece of paper.
“ we heard you were going after lady macaron. this might help you in your quest.” She handed over everything to the tree girl who looked over it with curiosity. “Apparently the flesh creature that took her forgot his “wallet” at the store. it apparently had his home address and thanks to the Gamer Geeks I was able to find out where the person lives. if you follow this you might be able to get her back.”
Bonz-Eye Looked at the map and gave the lollipop a nod of appreciation.
“ Thank you. I promise I will bring her home before sunrise.”
Lolly licks nodded and went back to the Sugar Shocks HQ.
Bonz-Eye Made her way to the exit of the mall. Fortunately for her the metal Barricades Hadn't come down yet so she was able to get in and out before they closed.
as she looked at the Star filled sky she could not help feeling worried. she had never been out of the mall before so this was a complete new world for her. but she had a mission and a map.
She quickly began running hoping to get to her destination in time.
“ No matter what, I am bringing her back. and if I can't, I will never return here again!”
She thought as she exited the parking lot and was truly on unfamiliar ground.
she quickly began running into the direction lolly licks map showed her.
She soon found herself in what looked to be a small City.
as she was running around she had to try her best not to get run over by cars, stepped on by people who are too busy to notice her, getting barked at by dogs and just generally trying to survive.
Fortunately her parkour skills made easy work of the environment.
and finally she arrived at her destination. the Metroplex apartment building.
She was able to quickly make her way inside following some other flesh creatures who had entered via the automatically opening doors.
She quickly headed in one of the corners behind a plant pot and began looking at her map for the apartment number she needed To go to.
“Okay floor 11 apartment d16. Let's go.”
She then quickly made her way via one of the air ducts and made sure she was on the right level. It took her some time but eventually she made it to apartment d16.
She made her way through the mail slot and landed in the apartment and quietly went to hide. Fortunately as she quickly looked around she noticed that the apartment was completely empty of humans.
so she could quickly look around. as she did so she quietly shouted out her friends name.
“ Lady macaron! Lady macaron! where are you?”
She then heard rustling from the kitchen and ran towards it. and their trapped in a bag was Lady macaron.
Bonz-Eye quickly Climbed up onto the counter and ran over. She grabbed her sword and sliced an opening for her friend to escape from.
The moment she got out lady macaron took a deep breath and smiled at Bonz-Eye.
“ You came for me? but why?”
Bonz-Eye just smiled and Gestured for her to follow her. “I'll explain later but right now we have to get out of here. we don't know how long we've got.”
“ probably a while.” Lady Macaron said as the two of them quickly made their way towards an air vent that Bonz-Eye quickly Began unscrewing using her Sword. “ he apparently forgot his wallet at the store and is driving back there. but I see you've got it with you. how about we give it back and leave a little note?”
Bonz-Eye had just finished unscrewing the last screw and began thinking about lady macarons suggestion.
“ how about we just leave it and don't leave a note? we don't want the Flesh creatures to get suspicious.”
“fairpoint.” Lady macarons said as she quickly threw the wallet onto the nearby couch and the two of them began quickly making their way through the vents. sliding down the vents and eventually out back onto the streets.
It took them some time but eventually they made their way back to the mall. as they entered via the cargo Bay area lady macaron decided it was finally time for the explanation she was owed.
“ Are you now going to finally explain why you put your own life at risk for mine?”
Bonz-Eye blushed and began brushing her hand through her leaves. “ well… you see…. As a warrior it's my responsibility to protect those in need and you were in need of my protection… just like when we had our little adventure in the dark side of the mall…”
“ oh really now?” the macaron said with a smirk on her face. “ isn't it because you like me?”
“ maybe…” Bonz-Eye said as she was blushing deeply.
Lady macaron did not expect this and was now blushing as well.
“ well… that's unexpected… but not unpleasant…. I have actually been… thinking a lot about you and… you know it would be nice to… hang out a lot more… you know, a bit more personal…”
“ You mean like going on dates?” Bonz-Eye Asked as her face began being tinched with a dark blush.
“Oui It would be fun just to have the two of us hang out.” Lady macaron said as the two of them entered the main Plaza of the mall. Unfortunately they noticed the sun was already coming up.
“ We have to get to the store quickly!” Bonz-Eye said as the two of them began running. Unfortunately they saw that already one of the flesh creatures was in there preparing for the opening.
“ There's no time.” Lady Macron said. “ we're going to have to find a different place to hide.”
Bonz-Eye began thinking. it was too far to go to the lost and found section and no other store would have only botbots in it. Then she noticed the ceiling lamps and quickly and skillfully helped lady macaron and herself on top of one. as the two of them were sitting they could see the mall come alive.
many people came in and out of the Stores buying stuff, eating fast food or just enjoying and socializing.
“ You know these flesh creatures are not much different from us botbots. they all like to socialize.”
“ true. but still it's best that we reveal nothing to them. I'm going to transform now. It's been a long night.”
Lady macaron only nodded and the two of them transformed resting for the rest of the day on the lamp.
When the night came the two of them jumped from the lamp onto one of the railings and onto the second floor.
as they looked at all the botbots below they could see that a lot of them looked worried for lady macaron but also for Bonz-Eye.
“I guess we should put their worries at ease.” lady macaron said as she began making her way to one of the escalators.
“ you go. I want to get some more rest back in my spot in The Lost and Found.”
“ don't you want any of the glory?”
“ not really. Besides, I already got what I wanted out of that mission. to see you safely home.”
Lady Macaron was impressed with her humbleness but she decided to give her an extra reward for her rescue. She quickly gave Bonz-Eye a kiss on the cheek Before making her way down to the first floor so she could hang out with her squad.
Bonz-Eye kept touching her cheek where she had been kissed and couldn't help but smile.
When she returned the other lost bots had a lot of questions for her.
Most particularly Clogstopper Wanted to know what the bathrooms were like outside of the mall.
Bonz-Eye Just smiled and told them that she would tell everything about her adventure another time. All she wanted at the moment was to get some more rest before all the exciting activities Burgertron had planned for them.
as she began climbing towards her spot she couldn't help but smile. She really did a good thing. and she got the best reward she could ever imagine.
She and Lady macaron now go on weekly dates on Friday. the two of them being a lovely couple with Neither of them pushing each other's boundaries too much.
although lady macaron had one thing that she never wanted to do with her. Karaoke.
Bonz-Eye did not object. after all she didn't need to vent out any negative emotions with her around.
Because Bonz-Eye’s life in the mall just got a whole lot sweeter.
