Daisy - Pansmione One-Shot
Summary
Daisy, the flower of limitless love. For Pansy Parkinson it’s the flower that hurt her the most when she saw it. The flower that reminds her of the love of her life that she lost in a tragic accident. The flower that made her guilt crawl from under her skin. It was a sunny autumn afternoon. A black haired girl skipped most of her classes to go to Hogsmeade - a village located near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Around twelve o'clock she came through the end of the hidden tunnel under Honeydukes. Unnoticed she came out of the shop. Greeted by the sun shining on her face, she smiled and headed towards Tomes and Scrolls - a local bookshop.

Hello, how can I help you young lady? -an older woman welcomed her.

-Hi, i’m looking for a book… but the problem is i don’t know which one -Pansy says a little bit stressed.

-That’s okay. I can help you with that. What type of book are you looking for?

-Romance… i think.

-You think? This book is not for you isn’t it? -the lady asks.

-No it’s not. Actually it’s for my ummm..

-For who?

-It’s for my girlfriend… We are going on a date tonight - Pansy says with fear in eyes scared, that the lady will kick her out from the store because her date is in fact a Girl.

-That’s fantastic! Well in that case it’s a bit more complicated because you want to buy a perfect book for her, don’t you?

-I do… I hope you will help me with that.

-Well, who is it? Does she shop here?

-She does, her name is Hermione Granger.

-Ah! Miss Granger! Such a lovely girl. It’s good to know she has a lover.

-Yeah, I love her really much - Parkinson said with a loving smile.

-It’s good to hear that. Well you’re lucky that I know her style. I would recommend you Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. Hermione wanted to buy it for a long time but each time she found something else.

-Okay I trust you. I’ll take it.

-Wonderful! Which version would you like?

-There are versions…?

-Yes, wait a minute please. I’ll show you them.

After a while Parkinson chose a green, hardcover book with gold additions.

-Do you want me to pack it?

-Pretty please.

-Alright what do you think about packing it in brown paper with a decorative string around it and with a personalized dedication at the top of it?

-That sounds wonderful! I’ll take it.

-Okay, give me five minutes and I'll be back to you with it.

-Wait a minute.. Could I borrow a quill? I want to write something inside before you pack it.

-Of course, here - the lady said and gave her a quill and moved red ink closer to her.

-Can you give me a minute?

-Of course.

Parkinson opened the book and on an empty front page she started writing.

For Mi,

The best girlfriend in the entire world. I hope you enjoy it because I know how much you wanted it.

Love,

P.

Pansy wrote and kissed the page leaving on it a lip mark.

-Okay, you can take it  - she said and gave the book to the old lady.

-I’ll be right back.

A black haired teenager approached a forgotten bridge. She put her bag on slightly wet grass and took a blanket out of it. After a few tries she finally puts it down. A few minutes later the picnic blanket is packed with food, flowers, paints and canvases. Happy with her creation Parkinson sits on the blanket. She checks the hour, a small watch that is lazily laying on her wrist says 2:55pm - perfect. The girl takes from the bag a small notebook and rips a piece of paper. Parkinson shuffles things around in hers bag when finally she stumbles upon the thing she was looking for. It’s a small muggle thing - a pen. The slytherin started using them after once Granger borrowed her it and she fell in love with it. How could muggles have such easy writing equipment and wizards still use Quills?

the young witch spreads the piece of paper on her thigh and puts a pen on it and then starts writing.

Hey Mi

Meet me at our spot at 3:15

Don’t be mad <3

Love you

P.

Happy with her message Parkinson takes out her wand and puts it against the paper. She whispers a spell that turns the message into a little paper bird.

-To Hermione Granger. Wait till she finishes class tho - she commands. After a few seconds the flying bird changes the way that it’s facing and races in the castle's way.

-Pansy! What the hell you were doing the whole day! I was worried! - A bushy haired girl runs towards Parkinson. She stops a few steps in front of the slytherin. -What is all of this?

-Surprise honey! - Pansy shouts with an uncertain smile.

-Pans… i thought something happened to you.. You just disappeared and.. - Parkinson cuts her off by pulling her into a kiss. Their lips link together and start moving slowly. Granger instantly relaxes in her arms and puts her hands around her neck.

-I’ve got a present for you -Parkinson says after they pull away from each other. She takes a present bag that was hiding under her coat. - I hope you will like it.

Gryffindor girl takes the bag into her hand and looks inside. She pulls out a small package. She reads a small adnottation that is soaked into the packing paper. Her eyes become glassy from happiness. Gently, she unwraps the package. A few whiles later a copy of Little Women is laying in her hands.

-Pansy.. i.. Thank you so much -She thanks with a single tear running down her cheek. -Im so happy to have you - Gryffindor adds while pulling Pansy into a hug.

There isn’t a day when Parkinson doesn’t think about the bushy haired girl. Hermione died exactly a year ago. Everybody told her to move on with her life but she just can’t. Everytime someone tries to flirt with her she yells at them and runs away. She can’t stand being with somebody else. Hermione would want her to be happy but Pansy doesn’t believe she will ever be now that her love of life is gone.

A gryffindor teenager enters a bedroom decorated mostly in green colours. She stands in the doorframe and leans against it catching eye contact with her girlfriend.

-Mione! You weren’t supposed to see me before prom! - Parkinson yells and tries to cover her dress using a pillow.

-It’s not our wedding sweetheart - a laugh leaves her lips. - You can do that hiding stuff when we get married.

-You want to marry me? - Pansy asks making her way closer to Hermione.

-You don’t? - a worried look crosses her face.

-Are you kidding me? Of course i want to. It’s my biggest dream - Parkinson comments now standing a few inches from the other girl.

-Okay - Hermione now smiles ear from ear while looking in her girlfriends eyes.

-Okay - the Slytherin giggles and kisses Hermione softly.

A black haired girl enters the graveyard located under London. She sighs and starts walking through winding paths. A single drop enters her cheek. She’s not sure if that was her tear or if it’s started raining. It turns out it’s both.

-I don’t think you should go - Parkinson says while hugging Granger. - I have a feeling something bad will happen.

-Baby.. i love you but i have to go. It’s my life chance - Hermione says while gently rubbing her girlfriends back.

-I know but.. can’t you take the next flight? - She hugs Granger even tighter.

-Pans..

-Please i have a really, really bad feeling about this - A waterfall of tears leave her eyes.

-Plane to Berlin is departing in 30 minutes. Boarding closes in five minutes - a man voice comes out of the airports speakers.

-I promise i will be back in a week, but i really need to go now - Hermione sighs while taking her hands of Parkinson’s back. After a long moment Pansy finally let’s go.

Bushy haired girl places her hand on the suitcase’s handle. She puts a bag on her shoulder.

-I’ll miss you - Pansy says while tears still leave her eyes.

-I know baby i will too. Alright, i love you. See you in a week.

-See you in a week Mi - They kiss fastly.

Hermione walks away. After a few seconds she disappears from Pansy's sight. Black haired girl walks to a big window. Half an hour later she sees Hermiones plane flying away. She can’t get the anxious feeling off her mind. When she is about to leave the plane that her girlfriend is in starts falling down.

Pansy informs the airport staff. She tries to get to the departure lane but she can’t. There’s nothing she can do. She is convicted to stand there staring into the plane that hardly hits the ground. She falls to her knees crying hysterically.

-Hey sweetie - an adult woman stands next to one of the graves. - I haven’t visited you in a while. Im so sorry.

-Don’t be - Parkinson jumps hearing a voice so similar to her girlfriends behind her. She turns away and freezes seeing the ghost of Hermione..?

-Mi?

-Hi - The ghost giggles.

-Hi... How is this possible? - Pansy sobs looking in her lovers eyes.

-Let’s say i didn’t finish everything i needed to in this world - Granger smiles and picks up a bouquet of flowers that her girlfriend dropped out of shock. -Daisy’s.. my favourite.. thank you baby.

On this day Pansy again found happiness in her life. Even if she couldn’t touch her girlfriend, She still became the happiest girl in the world being able to talk to Hermione one more time. They sat and talked for a few hours next to a grave with a few words engraved.
