Potter
Amira and Draco were sitting at their kitchen table eating their dinner. It was Christmas Eve.
"If they don't show up by New Year's, we have to go start looking for them," Amira said. Draco nodded.
"There's not much more we can do until we talk to him," he agreed, "We've prepared enough."
"I can't believe it's Christmas tomorrow," Amira mused.
"Remember last Christmas?" Draco asked.
"Yeah, it was wonderful, I could never forget it," she said, "I guess it's our one year anniversary."
"It is," Draco smiled, "It's too bad we decided not to do gifts."
"Yes," she said sarcastically, "Too bad that I wouldn't let you risk your life to go get me something."
"If we survive this, I'll get you things all of the time to make up for it," he promised. Amira laughed. Draco went quiet. "I wonder what my parents are doing."
Amira nodded. She knew Draco missed them and worried about them. It was just too dangerous to write or even try to visit them.
"I'm sure they're thinking about you as well," she murmured, "They're alright."
"I hope so," Draco said.
Suddenly, there was a ding from the corner of the room. They both sat up straight.
"Was that-" Draco asked.
"Yes." Amira said standing up. She hurried to put her boots and her coat on. This was it. Potter was here. They had to get to him before the Dark Lord did. There were wards that they had both set. Potter was about to be surrounded, and Amira was determined to get there first.
She and Draco were ready in less than two minutes. They shrunk down the tent and took down their wards, as they weren't going to be sticking around.
Then, they ran to the graveyard where the wards had been triggered.
"Will he listen to us?" Draco asked, "We should transfigure ourselves again."
"We don't have time," Amira pointed out. There were two figures in the graveyard. They slowed to a walk and entered quickly. The girl, Granger, seemed to be giving Potter space. Weasley was nowhere to be seen. Maybe he died.
Amira motioned for Draco to wait before silently walking up behind Granger. She cast a quick silencing charm and disarmed her before she could do anything. The girl turned around frightfully.
"It's okay," Amira said quickly, "I'm not going to hurt you, I'm here to help."
Granger opened her mouth to protest but no sound came out.
"I know you don't believe me but you have to," Amira whispered quickly, "You need to go get Potter and come with us. I have information about horcruxes."
Granger's eyes widened.
"Also," Amira felt something approaching, "The Dark Lord is on his way here right now so we need to go."
She took off the silencing charm and gave Granger her wand back.
"How can I trust you?" Granger hissed.
"I could have just killed you," Amira pointed out.
"Still," Granger said.
"We don't have time for this," Amira said, "I will stun both of you and take you right now."
"Fine." Granger said and then turned and hurried over to Potter. Amira looked to the entrance of the graveyard and saw a woman standing there.
"Draco," she called, "I need to go look at something. Can you get them ready to go?"
He nodded, "Don't go far."
She loved the trust that he had in her. Besides, when she went a little mad, he never questioned her, and trusted her to take care of herself. She walked closer to the old woman. Something was very wrong. Her magic felt like the Dark Lord's. Like a familiar horcrux.
Snake.
It was Nagini. She didn't know how but the snake was pretending to be a woman. And the woman felt dead by the magic emanating around her. Amira felt sick to her stomach. She debated killing her. Something told her that the snake wouldn't die if the woman died. She didn't have time to debate it. She needed the snake to come out of there.
Alarm shot through her when she felt the Dark Lord's presence hurtling through the sky towards them. Potter cried out in pain.
"He's coming!" Granger yelled to her.
"I know!" Amira yelled back.
"Amira come on!" Draco yelled, "You don't have time!"
It was true, and Amira cursed herself for giving up an opportunity to destroy the snake. She couldn't risk using Fiendfyre. She wasn't even close enough. The Dark Lord would be there in seconds. She ran back to the others.
"Let's go."
She grabbed hold of a pained Potter and Draco who had Granger and apparated. Just in time.
They landed in a forest that they'd scoped out ahead of time. As soon as they did, Granger and Potter had their wands in their hands, pointing at them.
"That's rude," Draco said stiffly, "We just rescued you."
"What just happened?" Potter demanded. Amira looked him over. She’d never had a good look at the Chosen one in person. He was a standard looking seventeen year old with glasses. He and Granger both looked exhausted and on edge. Nothing that lived up to all the stories that the press circulated.
"Draco, mind casting the wards?" Amira asked him politely. He nodded. She turned back to the other two. "We just saved you."
"How? Why?" Granger asked.
"We knew you would go there eventually, we had wards that you triggered. We've actually been waiting for months," Amira said in a bored tone, "And so was the Dark Lord."
"Aren't you with them?" Granger asked.
"Where have you been?" Amira asked, "Haven't you been listening to Potter Watch?"
"What is that?" Potter asked. Amira ran a hand through her hair. They had so much catching up to do.
"Merlin."
She sighed and got out their tent.
"Let's go sit down," she said. She went inside before they could argue and took a seat on the couch. They cautiously entered which Amira thought was stupid. If they really were Death Eaters, the other two should have taken their chance to run.
"Okay, I'm explaining this once so keep up," she said. Draco entered and joined them. He didn't sit down but stood protectively behind her again. "Draco and I escaped the Dark Lord's ranks at Bill Weasley's wedding. We've been on the run ever since, waiting to find you. We ran into the twins and Lupin several months back and told them to spread the word that we were no longer Dark. They have a radio show called Potter watch that they keep undercover to help unite the light side and keep everyone updated. We've been waiting for you because I need to talk to you."
"About horcruxes," Granger jumped in.
"Yes Granger," Amira nodded.
"You know who I am?" she asked. Her eyes flicked to Draco, "He told you."
"Er, yeah," Amira said, “Obviously.”
"Well call me Hermione," Granger said, "And you're Amira?"
"Yes." Amira said, wanting to add obviously at the end again but not wanting to be a prat.
"I'm Harry," Potter chimed in.
"I know," Amira said, fighting the third urge to say obviously.
"What do you know about horcruxes?" Harry asked. Amira leaned forward.
"I'm more interested in what you know," Amira said. "And which one you're holding onto right now."
Hermione and Harry looked at each other nervously. Then, Hermione drew out a golden locket and set it on the table.
"Wonderful," Amira said.
"We broke into the Ministry for it," Harry explained, "I'd found a fake with Dumbledore on the night he was killed."
"Why haven't you destroyed it?" Draco asked. Harry glared at him.
"We can't. We don't have the means." he explained.
"But you do," Hermione said, "I know you can cast fiendfyre." Draco squeezed her shoulder subtly.
"Ah, so yes I can, but I really should not," Amira said awkwardly, "We'll have to figure something else out."
They looked like they wanted to ask but she gave them a cold stare. She was not trusting these two strangers with the story of how her magic was slowly destroying her magic and her mind.
"What else do you know?" Draco asked, "About what the others might be."
"Well, I destroyed one my second year, a diary from when he was sixteen," Harry explained. "Then there was a ring, Dumbledore destroyed that. There's a Hufflepuff cup out there somewhere. We think the snake is one, and that's all we know."
"That's all?" Amira asked, disappointed. Only one more horcrux than she knew of.
"We know what kinds of things he makes into horcruxes," Hermione defended, "He likes expensive things. And he hides them in important places in his life. And there are seven."
"He was obsessed with Hogwarts," Harry said, "So we think he wanted something from each founder. This Slytherin locket, the cup, something from Ravenclaw, and maybe something from Gryffindor."
"Like Rowena's diadem?" Amira asked. They nodded.
"What do you know?" Hermione ask. Amira sighed and sat back.
"Three horcruxes left," She said, "You got the diary, Dumbledore did the ring. I destroyed the cup and the diadem. The snake is one, you're right, and the locket here. And then there's one more."
"So really only one left to find and two to destroy," Hermione said excitedly. "That's great!"
"Yes, and then we have to kill him," Amira said dryly. "Tell me about the prophecy.
Harry took a deep breath, "I don't know how much of this is true but ‘The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies....’”.
Silence rang through the tent as they all processed it.
"How much does the Dark Lord know?" Draco asked thoughtfully.
"Just until 'seventh month dies part.'" Hermione answered.
Amira looked up at Draco thoughtfully. Then she looked back at Harry.
"What is your power that he knows not?" she asked.
"Dumbledore said it's love," Harry said. Draco snorted. Amira raised an eyebrow.
"Well that's great," she said. "But I was asking about magical powers."
Harry shrugged.
"Well, I have something to teach you then," Amira decided, "I don't know if we have enough time, but I have a power he doesn't know. And I've been teaching Draco."
"What is it?" Hermione asked excitedly.
"I don't want to explain now, but it's like wandless and wordless magic, except there's no spells," Amira said tiredly. "Where's the ginger? Do we have to go rescue him from somewhere?"
The other two sobered up.
"Ron left," Harry said quietly.
"Wow," Draco said, "Didn't see that coming."
"We don't need to talk about that," Hermione said quietly. "Do you have food?"
Amira nodded, "Yes, where have you been staying?"
“Camping,” Harry said, “Like you.”
She stood and went to the kitchen to dish them up some of their dinner that they'd left out. It was potatoes, carrots, and some cooked rabbit that they'd caught.
"Wow, this looks great," Harry said. His stomach rumbled.
"We've been in a tent as well," Hermione explained, "We've been struggling to find food though, we don't have much money at all."
"Well, we have plenty," Amira said, "You can set up your tent next to ours. We're staying together now."
"We don't have a choice?" Harry challenged. Amira met his eyes.
"No." she said confidently. "Not if you want to win this war."
"We don't trust you," Hermione protested. "Or him."
"Weird, you're eating my food and listening to my advice," Amira said, annoyed.
"How do we know you won't kill us in our sleep?" Harry asked, eyes narrowed.
Amira felt actual frustration then. These were two immature teenagers who were not good at taking care of themselves thinking that they could challenge her. The room grew cold. She felt Draco standing beside her.
"This is not about trust at all. Do you think," she started quietly, "That you would stand a chance against me if I decided to kill you right now?"
"I would fight," Harry said with his chin high and fire in his eyes. "I've escaped the Dark Lord many times."
"I am stronger than the Dark Lord," she stated plainly, "You would be dead in one snap of my fingers."
"I don't believe you," Harry challenged. His cup shattered.
"Next time it's your head, Chosen One or not," Amira hissed. She felt anger rolling through her at the audacity of the boy in front of her. Draco put an arm around her waist.
"Alright, that's enough love, they see your point," he said, "And they're going to stay here and work with us and be grateful for our help. Right?"
"Yes," Hermione said quickly, "We'll be happy to stay. And thank you for your help. "
Harry looked like he wanted to argue more but Hermione shot him a fierce look. Amira glared at Harry some more. She just felt so angry with him. He had no idea what this war was really like. He hadn't been locked in that Manor with her. He was this hero who had no real grip on reality. They'd been running around the woods playing games while the rest of the world waited for him.
"Perhaps you should go set up your tent," Draco suggested lightly. Harry scowled at him and Amira wanted to hit him. Her fingers itched with magic that was begging to be unleashed. Hermione nodded.
"I agree, Harry, let's go," she said. "We will see you in the morning." The pair left. Draco turned to her.
"What was that?" Draco asked her.
"He was obnoxious," she scowled.
"He really wasn't that bad," Draco argued, "They're just stressed. If anyone should be so worked up, it would be me. Why are you so mad?"
"I don't know," she growled and went to clean up the dishes. She angrily washed them and put them away while Draco watched cautiously.
"I think you should take a few deep breaths," he said when she was done.
"I'm fine." she snapped. She stalked past him and he grabbed her arm. "Let me go."
"No." he said firmly. "Calm down."
She glared at him. "Why?"
"Because you're not yourself," he said, "This is not like you."
Suddenly she felt so drained. She felt low. Depressed almost.
"I don't know why," she said letting out a sigh. She looked to the living room and saw the locket sitting on the table. "Of course!"
"What?" Draco asked. She ran to pick up the locket.
"It's this," she said, "There's so much negativity radiating off of it."
Draco took it from her.
"I can feel it when I hold it," he admitted. "They need to have this in their tent, you're clearly more sensitive to it. I'll take it back, you get ready for bed."
She nodded tiredly.
When he came back, she was already in their blankets.
"Feel better?" he checked. She nodded. "Apparently Potter feels it pretty strongly too."
She nodded, "Makes sense."
He changed and climbed in next to her.
"How are you going to teach him?" he asked.
"With your help," she murmured and intertwined their legs. "You can show him."
He rested his hand on her waist and pulled her close.
"He and I really don't like each other," he protested.
"Hm, well we're not off to a great start either," she pointed out. He traced her back and gave her goosebumps.
“That’s ok,” Draco murmured and kissed her. “I don’t mind if you don’t get along.”
She kissed him again, “Why’s that?”
“I have a jealous streak,” he growled, rolling on top of her, resting his forearms on either side of her head.
“Do you?” she asked cheekily, subtly grinding her hips up to his.
“Is it a surprise?” he asked, and then bit down on her neck making her mind go blank for a moment.
“No,” she sighed blissfully, “But you don’t need to worry, I’m yours.”
Draco’s length hardened at lightning speed against her.
“You like that?” she whispered, “That I’m yours.”
“Is it okay with you?” he asked in a ragged voice. Amira understood his concern. She’d been owned too many times. But with Draco it wasn’t owning. It was belonging. It was safety. There was trust and love.
“I am yours,” she said, and in that moment she knew she was ready. “And I want you to make me yours.”
Draco froze above her, “.... Do you mean-?” He trailed off.
“I want you inside of me,” she confirmed, “I’m ready. I’ve been ready.”
Draco looked unsure.
“Draco, I love you, and I want you,” she encouraged.
“Alright love,” he nodded. He kissed her again, and then kissed her entire body. He removed all of their clothing with gentleness that made her want to cry. He made her come from his mouth three times before moving on, and checking again to make sure she was ready.
“Just, slow please?” she asked. She was so needy for him, but there was slight anxiety about if she’d be able to handle it.
“Of course love, we can stop anytime if you need to, don’t hesitate,” he said as he caressed her lovingly. She had never felt more safe.
“I’m ready,” she said firmly, and then let her neediness show, “Please.”
Draco nodded and lined himself up against her. He didn’t move, but just kissed her as he held it there. Ever so slowly, he nudged at her. She ached and wanted more as the pressure increased ever so slightly. She couldn’t take the slowness anymore. She needed it in a way that she never knew that she could.
She bucked against him, and the tip slid in quickly. It was barely in at all but she froze, and her whole body tensed as her mind whited out.
Draco immediately pulled out, “Woah baby.”
She began to shake as she struggled to remember where she was.
“Hey, hey it’s okay,” she heard him say through the ringing in her ears. She didn’t shy away from him, but instead held him close.
“You’re alright, you’re safe,” he murmured in her ear, rubbing soothing circles on her ribs.
“I-I’m sorry,” she stuttered. “I went too fast.”
“A little bit yeah,” he said, “But it’s okay, you’re handling it so well.”
She was, she was coming back to herself super quickly, and the desperate heat inside her hadn’t died. She just felt a little embarrassed.
“Can we try again?” she asked.
“I don’t know love, I don’t want you to be scared,” he said, even as she felt his softened member harden again.
“I won’t, I really want you Draco, please,” she begged, tears pricking her eyes. She didn’t want to ruin this for herself.
“Okay, okay baby, but let me go slow this time,” he encouraged. She nodded. He reached down and played with her clit again until she was on the verge of an orgasm and then stopped. He resumed kissing her and began to line himself up, putting that pressure ever so slowly.
This time she forced herself to be patient. Slowly, he slid inside of her. It took a long time, and when his tip was just in, he checked with her.
“Alright?” he panted. She nodded. It felt so good. It felt foreign. Nothing at all like had been done to her in the past. It felt warm and safe and good and full. She needed more.
“Please keep going,” she whimpered desperately.
He slid in further. He kept going and going. There was some pain and she tensed again.
“Wait,” she choked, “Don’t pull out. I just- I need a second.”
He rubbed a soothing hand on her stomach as she tried to accommodate his size.
“You’re- ah, so big,” she panted. She felt so stretched and so full. Draco looked down.
“I’m only halfway love” he said, “Take all of the time you need. Are you sure you want to keep going?”
She nodded quickly. He reached down and began playing with her spot again. Soon she was moaning and writhing around him.
“Okay, more, please- keep going,” she forced out. He obliged. He kept pressing in until he was fully sheathed in her.
“Breathe my love,” he encouraged. His own voice was tight.
Amira had no words. She was too full, and feeling way too good to speak coherently. After a few moments Draco began to slide out. The drag was wonderful. She moaned loudly when he pushed back in.
“You feel so good,” he murmured. “You’re perfect.”
Amira clung to his shoulders as he kissed her. He set a slow pace, but it was perfect. She felt so deliciously full and warm. The pressure between her hips was reaching its crescendo. She couldn’t speak, and was only making broken moans and whimpers.
“You sound so beautiful,” he said, “I love seeing you like this.”
“Draco, I-” she gasped, feeling a deep sensation in her stomach. “Draco!”
“Yeah?” he said, “It feels that good huh?”
She moaned a high pitch noise from the back of her throat. She reached for his hair with one hand and clutched at his back tightly with the other. She felt like she was ascending and she needed him to ground her.
A warm golden light began to fill the room, but she didn’t even notice. Her whole body was buzzing as she approached her climax.
Draco groaned in her ear. She was so consumed by him in every way and it was perfect. All she could see was him. All she could taste was his lips. All she could hear was the sounds of their pleasure. All she could feel was him above and inside her.
With two more gentle thrusts, she was coming. She came so hard that her eyes flashed with golden sparkles and the blood roared in her ears. She felt him release inside of her, and it made her come again before she’d even stopped the first time.
Draco pulled out as his orgasm subsided. Amira was still clutching him and shaking, while making adorable little noises as her body was wrecked with the aftershocks.
Draco looked around and saw that their room was filled with thousands of little golden stars, or sparkles, he wasn’t sure which. It illuminated her beneath him, and she looked angelic.
“You’re beautiful,” he whispered. Amira was lying with her eyes closed, trying to catch her breath. Draco fell even more in love with the blissful figure lying beneath him.
He gathered her in his arms and whispered sweet nothings into her ear until her breathing evened out and she fell asleep. He tumbled into sleep soon after.
