Isabella turned around to find her dad’s standing there. She groaned.
“Oh darling, are you alright?” Her papa, Remus asked.
“Do I look alright to you?” She shot back.
Isabella was sick, so she was lying in bed alternating between watching TV and sleeping. She was miserable and just wanted to feel better.
“She’s got a point, rem.” Her dad, Sirius said.
“It’s fine. I’m just tired of being sick.” She responded.
Just then Teddy came running down the hallway, past Isabella’s room and to the bathroom. Sirius rushed out of the room to make sure he was okay.
He was not in fact okay. He was hunched over the toilet throwing up everything he had eaten that day. Sirius crouched down next to his son and started rubbing his back soothingly.
In the other room, Isabella could hear her brother throwing up and that made her feel sick. She picked up the trash can that was next to her and she started retching loudly into it but all that came up was stomach acid and water. Remus went over to her and sat down on her bed. He held her hair back while rubbing her back.
This went on for another ten minutes. One would be done then they would hear the other and throw up again. It was miserable.
Once they were done Sirius came into Isabella’s room and just looked at Remus, communicating everything he needed to say without a word. Remus dragged Isabella out of bed and brought the two kids downstairs to the couch, while Sirius went to go find some medicine.
When he came back he had water in one arm and stomach relaxers in the other hand. The kids both took the meds with little complaints. Remus put on ‘Coco’ one of both Teddy and Isabella’s comfort movies from when they were kids.
It only took five minutes for both of them to be out like a light but it was a good thing, the more they slept the better they would feel when they woke up. Sirius settled on the couch cuddling up to his family, falling asleep soon after the kids, he had been up all night with Isabella so he deserved to sleep. Remus just watched them all sleep, they were all peaceful and quiet, and it was nice. He then fell asleep himself.

When Isabella woke up the next morning she was in her bed, since Remus had moved them. She got out of bed and walked downstairs to find her dad’s eating breakfast and Teddy reading by the window.
“Hey bells, feeling better?” Sirius asked when he noticed her.
“Yes, thank you.” She responded going to make herself a cup of tea.
“Glad to hear.”
Then all of a sudden Sirius hears Remus getting sick in the other room. “You’ve got to be kidding.” He sighed then went to comfort his husband.
