Nineteen Years Later
I stepped onto Platform Nine and Three Quarters, one hand holding Luna's and the other holding Alice's. I led them to the scarlet and black train, lifting Alice's trunk up and into a compartment along with her owl, an old family owl that I'd had for a long time, and broomstick up in as well. I then turned around, spying Harry and Ginny speaking to Ron and Hermione. I squatted down in front of Alice, and spoke quietly.
"Now, remember what I told you. Make-"
"Make sure to tell Peeves I'm your daughter, only to use my Metamorphmagus powers when I want to get out of class, make sure I'm in Ravenclaw, and get onto the Quidditch team." I chuckled, and hugged her, before she smiled.
"Also, another thing I didn't tell you." She listened with interest.
"Make sure to hang out with the Potters and Wealseys. But stay away from Fred or George's kids if they ask you for help with a prank, alright?" She giggled, nodded, and ran off to hug Luna. I stood, and watched the Potters and Weasleys walk over. I helped Harry and Ron load their kids' things into the same compartment as Alice's, and they all climbed onto the train together. I smiled up at Alice as the train began to leave, waving at her as she disappeared, Harry walking alongside the train for a moment before returning to us. Ron spoke up.
"So, have you told Alice yet?" I shook my head, and walked out with the two of them before Apparating to the Leaky Cauldron, which we had done when their first kids had started, and now when Alice had started. Luna, Hermione, and Ginny would wait for us at the Burrow, where we would enjoy a veritable feast cooked up by Molly Weasley. We entered, a small stir caused by Harry's entrance, and sat down around a table. Tom arrived, and asked us what we wanted, waiting eagerly.
"I'll take a Butterbeer." Ron spoke, and Harry copied him. Tom turned to me, and I ordered what I had ordered last time.
"Tankard of Firewhiskey, if you please." He nodded, and left us.
"I think Alice would be a little overwhelmed if she found out her father's old Quidditch team was now the Holyhead Harpies, including her dear old dad." Ron chuckled, and I smiled.
"So, Harry, how is the Auror work going?" He shrugged.
"Pretty good. Not very many incidents, which I'm happy about. Ron?" He turned to Ron as our drinks arrived, and I sipped the tankard.
"Not much, really. Of course, 'round Christmastime we alway get busy, but other than that it's relatively smooth sailing." I nodded, and sat back, enjoying the burn of the Firewhiskey. I suddenly sat forward.
"I forgot to tell you all something." They watched me curiously.
"I am going to be teaching the flying class at Hogwarts this year as the record-holding Chaser for the Holyhead Harpies Alexandra Flit, during the offseason of the team." They both applauded me quietly, and I chuckled.
"I haven't even told Luna yet, and I'm planning on breaking the news to her tonight." Ron shrugged.
"As long as I get an autograph." I laughed, and glanced around briefly before shifting into my 'alter ego,' a girl with long, black hair, purple eyes, and a pointed chin.
"Alexandra Flit, here to drink this entire tankard of Firewhiskey in three seconds." Ron cheered, and I downed the thing in two, setting it down gently and coughing several times.
"Woof. Anyway, I'll consider an autograph, Ronald." He laughed, and someone tapped my shoulder. I turned to see a little girl with curly red hair and brown eyes holding a journal and quill.
"I-Uhm, was wondering if-if you could s-s-sign this?" I smiled, and took the quill and book gently, scrawling the famous signature before turning to her.
"What's your name?" She stammered furiously, skin turning beet red.
"C-Cynthia." I wrote a quick note to her, and looked up, spotting her father watching anxiously. I smiled, and reached into my bag, where I always carried a camera in case of situations like this.
"Tell you what, I'll do you one better. How about a picture with me, Harry Potter, and the part-time owner of the Chudley Channons, Ron Weasley?" She looked like she was about to faint, and I called the man over.
"If you wouldn't mind taking a picture?" He nodded eagerly, and the three of us rose, standing around her and smiling into the camera. He took the picture, flash going off, and I thanked him as the specially-made camera printed out the picture, a moving one as I had attached a complex piece of machinery that coated the image in the potion that allowed the picture to move. I waved it around for a bit, waiting for the image to show up, and signed the back before handing the quill, book, and picture to her. She smiled at me, and I smiled back before the three of us sat down again.
"That was fun." Ron shrugged, and Harry spoke.
"We should probably get back to the Burrow. Don't want the food to get cold, and I'm certain that Lily would want to meet Alexandra Flit." I chuckled, and pulled out a bag of gold as they finished their drinks. I paid for all of us, and we left, stepping outside before Apparating short distances until we reached the Burrow, where delicious food and an eager little girl awaited.
