Sirius Black would never top. Why would he anyway? For someone to even suggest that his role in the bedroom could be anything other than a pretty pillow princess, who can be thrown around and cared for is absurd.
Sirius knew that his and Remus' sex life was a hot topic in Hogwarts. Obviously. Although the wizarding world was more open minded to that sort of thing, ( pricy potions were now available to ensure same - sex couples could reproduce), it is still the '70s. But still. Sirius would hear the childish giggles from girls as young as 3rd year, talking in a sort of new girls-only language asembled with giggles, gasps, copious amounts of hushing, terrible attempts at whispering, scandalous desires and references, and of course, more giggling.
Sirius embraced the attention, why wouldn't he, but he had to admit that as a 16 (nearly 17) year old, it did get a little uncomfortable and creepy when he'd hear freshly teenage girls talking about what they'd give to see him and Remus 'going at it like desperate whores', to quote one of them. How did they even know such things?
Anyway, it's one of the calmer nights at Hogwarts. No rushing to study after lunch, hunting down the professors to beg for hints about the NEWTs content (to no avail of course), or collapsing into bed at 6pm in an attempt to catch up on sleep. No. This is a night for the 7th years to relax, and get back in touch with the real world.
Majority of Sirius' year (in Gryffindor) had spread themselves around the common room, which Remus had said was red enough to make even the biggest Manchester United fan blush and gape - only Pete understood that reference and laughed. The marauders had suggested that they all play a game, which entailed taking a small dose of Veritaserum and asking each other questions - a way for them to really get to know eachother better, even if the smuggled firewhiskey would make them all forget in the morning anyway.
Marlene McKinnon (a very eccentric blonde), had jumped up at the suggestion, claiming that it was 'about time' she 'had a reason to be a nosy bitch', which Sirius supposed was fair. Marlene had also pulled up her friends, Lily Evans and Mary MacDonald, as well as her 'not' girlfriend - Dorcas Meadows. Dorcas had somehow snuck in her friends, who were all sixth years, which is why Pandora and Evan Rosier, Barty Crouch Jr, and Sirius' own brother, Regulus Black were huddling closely together in the corner, laughing at something Evan had said.
"Oi. You lot come over here, we're playing a game." Dorcas shouted over. Honestly, it was amusing to see a group of broody teenagers follow instructions so quickly. Dorcas watched them rush over in single file, like children trying to impress their teacher.
A few minutes later, all of them, including a couple of strays who wanted to take part, were sat in a circle on a large rug, and administered their dose of Veritaserum. The group were well into the game when Lily Evans' turn to ask a question had come up and gave Sirius a big grin.
"Sirius," She started. "Who tops? You or Remus?" Remus spluttered at the mention of his name, but didn't say anything.
"Come on Evans, not when I'm here." Regulus groaned.
"Remus, obviously." Sirius answered.
"What? Half of us thought it was you, not the other way around!" Marlene interrupted.
"Why would I, the Sirius Black ever top?" Sirius asked, genuine confusion written all over his face.
"He's got this ideology that he shouldn't have need to lift a finger, or put in any work." Remus added. "Probably because he's been spoilt his whole life and had everything go his way. Isn't that right Pads?" The teasing tone to Remus' voice made Sirius' face go red with embarrassment.
"It just seems like so much effort. I mean it's not like I need to put in all the work when Moony can. Unless you're not happy and you want things to change?" Sirius asked, a challenging tone to his voice, yet even a teaspoon could detect the badly hidden insecurity.
Everyone watched on, intrigued, amused, and curious.
"No of course not love!" Remus rushed out. "I can guarantee that I'm very happy and you don't have to do anything you don't want to." Remus didn't get a reply, only a look of complete and utter love from Sirius.
"Anyway," Peter started, breaking the silence. "Regulus."
Realising that the topic of his brothers sex life had been swiftly changed, Regulus brought himself back into the moment, turning to look at Pettigrew.
"Would you ever top?" He was asked.
"Why would I, the Regulus Black ever -" He was cut off by laughter and left confused after missing the previous conversations containing his brother.
