All I need is Your History
Summary
Apparently, they needed a 'professional' for this case. Sirius continually scoffed at it, annoyed, and as much as James agreed, Remus understood that they truly did need help. The upper, upper, upper higher ups were breathing down everyone's neck with this case, and apparently one of the bigwigs knew someone that could help. Someone that was close to this case. The only problem? They did not want to work with the team. James did not understand why, they were the best of the best and supposedly this person was in witness protection, so surely putting the guys away sooner was a benefit to them.It took over a month before they finally agreed. A month. During which the case had gotten increasingly bigger, with a larger victim pool, this time the victim was a ten year old boy. So the mystery person agreed...and this case...well...it was bound to screw everyone over in the end. That was what these cases did after all.

Chapter 14

Sirius had underestimated what Remus had said. Regulus didn't just need rules, he needed commands for practically everything. It got to a point that he just couldn't do it anymore and had thrown, quite literally, his little brother at Remus and told Remus to take care of it and that Sirius didn't rescue him just to become a new master. Regulus had been scared, terrified that he had angered Sirius and tears had fallen when he watched his brother leave again. He had withdrawn into himself, and simply knelt on the floor, for lack of anything else, water flying down his cheeks, but he knew better than to go after Sirius. There was no hope in trying to beg, there never had been.

"Hey, Regulus, look at me." Remus. Regulus' mind supplied. Sirius said to listen to Remus. Remus must be the new master. Regulus obediently pulled his gaze up to Remus' own. The shaggy haired man gave him a smile, and a light ruffle of his head. "Good boy, would you care to tell me what exactly it was that got Sirius in a twist?" Regulus shifted. He didn't know. He didn't know! "I am not going to be mad, just tell me what happened." Regulus was shaking now. He had to listen, but he didn't know.

"I don't know," He answered, the answer trembling from his lips. Had Barty and Evan decided to transfer me now? They said that it may happen eventually, that eventually they wouldn't be able to keep me safe...and that I would be transferred to someone else but I was not aware...was it because His Majesty finally made contact? Did he scare them off? Regulus' mind was shattering around him, unable to figure out what was going on. One thing was certain though, Evan and Barty had to have transferred him to Sirius, and Sirius had transferred him to Remus, which meant that Regulus HAD to listen to Remus. He doubted Remus would be cruel...but one never knew, and Regulus hated punishments. "I swear, I do not know," Regulus's voice had taken on a tinge of begging into it, fingers curling around his pants.

"It is alright, Sirius has a tendency to get emotional, and it is a big thing for him to finally find you, I am sure he just needs some time to sort himself out is all." Remus said kindly. Regulus didn't understand, he didn't understand. It wouldn't matter soon enough, he was going to be taken again. They had found him, they knew now...and Regulus would soon find himself chained up on luxury sheets once more.

Regulus felt his body pulled into a standing position. "How about we don't kneel on the floor yes? It is cold and hard." Regulus gave a shaky nod. Is this some sort of test? He wondered. His Majesty had given me many tests when I was transferred to his care. Barty and Evan didn't care much for tests, but even they gave them. This must be another one. Because if there was one thing that was consistent was that he was to kneel before his owners. "How about I introduce you to the rest of us, yeah?" Remus asked, but before he could even finish Regulus was agreeing, and Remus began to understand why Sirius had gotten so frustrated.

Sirius wasn't really...into that sort of scene, not like Remus had been. Even if he was, Remus already knew Sirius would never be a dominant, he didn't have the patience for it, or the desire, or any of the skills. He was definitely a brat, but a submissive nonetheless, and that was assuming he ever ventured into that sort of world. Remus, however, had been in the scenes for a while before dating Sirius, and he was most certainly not a submissive. While Regulus' case was...much different than a sexual encounter, he had been stripped of autonomy for who knows how long, and as a result, needed a more stern hand. Sirius was bound to get irritated by it, something Remus had figured would happen eventually. This was going to have to be a delicate balance of domination, obedience, and rewiring the way Regulus thought about himself so that he could eventually do things on his own. Right now, Regulus was like a submissive, but...one born of trauma, pain, and violence. Remus may not be a psychiatrist but he figured out of everyone, perhaps he was the best person to help Regulus.
