I hope this letter reaches you before he can. A rat betrayed your side for his Lord and he's coming after you and your family. The old wizard can’t be trusted.
You might find it strange that I’m writing to you when I’m supposed to be dead. Well, it’s complicated. I’m not dead yet but I will be before this letter finds you.
Please don’t blame yourself for my death, no other paths were possible. I discovered the Dark Lord's secret and will die trying to keep it.
I needed to write this to you because if I die, I want you to live for me. So hide, James. Hide and take Lily and Harry with you.
I don’t want you to go after what I found, it’s too dangerous. Be careful about the rat. Tell Sirius I've always loved him. I couldn’t wish for a better older brother. Always remember what we had for me but do not mourn the past.
PS: I told you not to go but my notes and research are in my room if you want to end this war. 31/10/1981.

Dear Regulus,
I know this letter will never find you and will come back to me, but I want you to know that you will forever be remembered as a hero of war and I will forever hold you in my heart.
We are now the 1st of september 1991 and Harry just left for his first year at Hogwarts.
After I read your letter, I took Lily and Harry out of the “safe house” and brought them to Pandora and I then went to Sirius. I showed him what you wrote and he immediately apparated us to Grimmauld Place. We found your notes and went back to Pandora. She has a little girl around the same age as Harry called Luna. She told me you were her godfather.
I saw that you mentioned Narcissa a lot in the notes so we also freed her and her son, Draco, from that madhouse. She told us that we would need your house elf so we also took him.
The entire gang from school got back together and helped us for this mission that was ending the war.
We found out that Voldemort had created six other Horcrux than the one you found. Kreature told us that to destroy a Horcrux we either needed to use Fiendfyre or basilic venom. We chose the second option. The Horcrux were the locket of Slytherin (which you found), the cup of Hufflepuff (which was in Bellatrix strongbox Narcissa had access to), the tiara of Ravenclaw (which was at Hogwarts), the Gaunt’s ring (which was in the remain of their shack), Voldemort diary (which was with Narcissa) and finally his snake.
Once we had destroyed each Horcrux(except the snake) we confronted Voldemort. Sirius killed the snake and your cousin killed Riddle. (also Peter was sent to Azkaban after the war).
We lost a lot of friends during this journey but we will forever hold them in our hearts.
That’s all for our little mission. I hope you’re living a great life reunited with your best friends.
Narcissa stayed close to us after the war and now lives at Grimmauld Place with Draco and Kreature. Lily and I got married in summer. Sirius was my maid of honor and Mary was Lily’s. Remus, Marlene and Dorcas, Frank and Alice (they also have a kid just so you know), Pandora and Xeno, the Weasley and the Prewetts were all there. The day had been perfect. You would have loved it, Lily told me.
Finally I wanted you to know that Harry, Draco and Luna are best friends and they often remind me of you, Pandora and me. Especially Draco, he’s like a mini you and I’m sure he also has a thing for Potters.
Well, it felt really nice telling you all this. I can’t wait to hear in which house they’ll be sorted in.
PS: Dumbledore is no longer Headmaster, Minerva is. Oh and Sirius and Remus are also married (forgot to tell you that) and they are planning on adopting. Also Remus is the Official DADA teacher and Narcissa is the new potion one.
