To say Lily was going through a phase was an understatement, sheâd become snarky.. downright miserable and nobody seemed to care. Sheâd snuck out multiple times during this year at Hogwarts and sheâd decided whatâs the harm in doing it again.
The club was packed, fake IDs could get you places in the muggle world lily had learnt. Poor Evans was pissed faced left alone by her new muggle âfriendsâ that nobody (not even James!) seemed to take a liking to.
The girl was swaying about, laughing to herself before landing on a random man with a soft âoomphâ. Well⊠at least she thought he was some random man, she felt two arms snake under her arms to soften the fall. âEvans?â The mystery man laughed, pushing her back up. Lily couldnât lie he looked familiar⊠the scruffy hair, piercings, sharp features and lazy smile.
âWho the fuck are you!â She questioned, rolling those pretty green eyes.
âBaaaarty, are you that drunk princess?â Barty had drawled out his name like he was talking to a child. He would be lying if he said this situation wasnât funny, now he had some solid blackmail against the usual clean straight aâs little miss perfect Lily Evans. âYeah, no clue.â The words made Barty roll his eyes.
The pair had only met a few times prior, the girl would get regulus to sneak her into their common room so they could chat about books and studying⊠in his opinion boring shit. One of the only chats heâd had with her was about smoking a blunt, which sheâd turned down in a heartbeat.
âAlright, then little Miss Perfect letâs get you out of here,â Barty stated, dragging the ginger-haired girl out of the club. However Lily put up a fair fight. âBarty no! Bad Barty! Put me down!â Lily had complained, whined, hit and kicked- which brought numerous stares from the crowd around them.
âIâm so telling regulus,â Barty muttered.
âRegulus!â Lily had thought, âWell how the bloody hell did he know regulus.â She huffed looking away from Barty. She was hung over his shoulder like some bag, his arm firm around her waist so she wouldnât slip, Lily wasnât even complaining now.. in fear that Regulus may be told of her adventure. Sheâd taken on the face of a child who didnât get their way, all because of Barty Crouch Jr being such a selfless gentleman (In his eyes of course.)
Â
â
Barty had carried her onto the train, letting the girl fall to his side and lean on him. He poked her head and watched it bop back down.. like she was some sort of yo-yo.
âStop,â Lily whined again, head-butting his arm with absolutely no force. âI am trying to have a nap.â She complained, looking at him with a frown. Barty just rolled his eyes, putting his hand over her eyes and laying his head back. âNight then gingersnap.â He mumbled as Lily ripped his hand off of her face. He couldnât help but laugh at her.. honestly, she was the last person he expected to see.
Barty had ended up carrying her off of the train, sneaking back into the castle with her in his arms. He had absolutely no option but to chuck her onto his bed and throw a blanket over her. Barty noticed the messy eyeliner marks ⊠the glitter smeared on her face and the sloppy lipstick- it was a new look. Barty then pulled the blanket over her face and sat on the edge of his bed. This was not the worst situation he could be in.
