uncle part2!

“How? And why?” Alphard asked not quite understanding how he was supposed to help his nephew Regulus become head when he is already dead? And why would he assist him? Draco smiled mysteriously at Alphard, he stretched out his left hand. “That is for me to know and for you to just accept the deal. You aren’t losing by doing those things?”

Alphard nodded, it was true that he wasn’t losing things by doing so. They shook hands and then they felt the deal being formed.

“Well then let's meet in the past!” With that Draco fades away, startling Alphard.

“Once you get this memory, come to Grimddual as soon as possible!” Alphard heard Draco’s voice as he faded away completely.

In 1975, Alphard woke up with a strange memory that he was sure wasn't there when he went to sleep last night. Alphard muttered something in Latin and felt the binding that wasn’t there yesterday.

Alphard got up from his bed and prepared to send Walburga a letter saying he was going to visit them in the afternoon.

At the same time Regulus was staring at Draco with a wide eye, full of disbelief. Draco pouts with unhappiness, after seeing Regulus not believing in him when he said he went slightly into the future and came back after making a deal with their uncle.

“Hmph!” Regulus was brought out of his disbelief by Draco’s unhappy sound.

“Are you sure? Cousin Dray!?? That it was uncle Alphard?” Regulus cautiously asked, although his cousin looked cute with cheeks puffed out, they had more important things to discuss such as how his cousin had met with their uncle’s portrait when he was still alive and kicking.

Draco nodded his head clearly still unhappy. Regulus massaged his temple, he got out of his comfy bed and walked towards the bathroom to freshen up himself. Regulus looked at his cousin who doesn’t need to freshen up cause he is a ghost, and felt jealous for such convenience.

“How did that even happen?” Regulus asked, he put water on both of his palms and washed his face. While drying his face he heard his cousin. “No idea! But I have a theory about it. I will tell you once I have made sure of it.”

“Alright!” Regulus didn’t press more about it, his cousin had clearly said he would tell him after he was sure about it no need to pressure him out for an answer.

The two cousins went to the dining hall together while silently conversing. Draco said with certainty. "Uncle Alphard, should be coming today!”

‘If he remembers it!’ Regulus quietly greeted his mother who was sitting a little bit dazed. Then sat down on his usual position, he did not want to sit on Sirius position. ‘Where did father go? He has never been out so long!’

“About that you don’t need to worry! I gave him something to do other than staying here and getting in our special lesson.” Draco sitting in front of Regulus, with a mischievous grin said. Regulus let out a defeated sigh that went unnoticed by Walburga who would usually notice it as soon as he did that in the past but now she just ate in daze. Regulus didn’t want to know what his floating cousin did to his mother.

Just then Kreacher popped out holding a letter, Draco who was motioning Regulus to eat, without saying anything floated towards Walburga and possessed her.

Regulus opened his mouth in surprise, then he saw his *mother* daze face changed into normal straight face as *she* motioned for Kreacher to give the letter. There was no flaw in his cousin’s act, he had so perfectly performed it that even Kreacher who had been serving his mother since she was a toddler had been fooled.

That is when Regulus noticed that in fact his mother was kind towards Kreacher, mit was just that not so visually because of the mother-son fight that occurred ever since he remembered.

He watched with complicated emotions as his *mother* nodded in appreciation to Kreacher.

The elf was gone with a pop sound, Draco who was in Walburgas body opened the letter and read it before giving it to Regulus.

Stare, Regulus took a second look at the letter before letting out another yet again sigh. “Guess he is coming today but in the afternoon without any specific time!?”

“Means he is going to come as soon as the clock hits 12! He will be here.” Regulus looked at his mother, shrugging, he wasn’t used to it and he had never seen her mother doing such a thing.

It made her a normal human being to do such a thing and for her to do it feels taboo.

Poor Regulus who was almost having second thoughts on harming her, such softie he is. If it were Sirius he would have been shocked that he would have thought his mother was possessed. Draco inwardly thought, seeing Regulus’s face that was making it so obvious about his thoughts.

Still in Walburga’s body, Draco shoved a lot of food on Regulus plate before leaving her body. He didn’t want to stay in this woman’s body any longer than necessary.

Regulus, still struggling with his thoughts, didn't notice Draco piling up food on his plate. So when he finally snapped back to reality, after seeing Draco’s transparent body in front of himself. ‘What about mom? Will she even remember opening the letter and reading it? Wouldn’t she find it strange to see a letter opened in front of her?’

“No worries, everytime i leave her body, I leave some sort of alerted memory behind.” Draco said as he conjured a coffee, taking a sip from it with a blissful face. “Alright, hurry up and eat! We have so many things to learn today!”

Regulus nodded his, and was stunned when he saw a mountain of food piled on his plate.
He glared at Draco, who was feigning innocence. Regulus really didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at his cousin’s urge of feeding him every chance he got. ‘What is your problem with me and my diet?’

“Sorry about that, it’s just a habit whenever I see youngsters.” Regulus heard Draco saying sheepishly. That made Regulus stop eating and look up at Draco with eyebrows raised. ‘Aren’t you just one year older than me to call me a youngster?’

“What? No, I am 28 years old!” Regulus was so shocked that he looked at Draco in surprise.
Draco sent wink at his older cousin who was younger than him. “Cousin stars, it's genetic, don’t forget I have both the bloodline of Malfoy and Black together with my veela inheritance!”

Regulus decided to quietly eat his food, after hearing about his cousin’s shocking age and inheritance. He didn’t want to ponder on how his cousin maintained his youthfulness even after reaching 28, if he were to believe it was because of blood and creature heritage then he might as well give his brain to donation.

Draco silently laughed at his cousin’s quietness, of course he wasn’t serious when he said it was because of those things. That was just bullshit he was spouting off, wanting to tease his cousin stars. Draco was so great at potion that after some Pansy’s persistence that he got involved in the makeup industry, then later created a potion to maintain clear and soft skin.

In his first test he had drunk the potion he made, that changed his handsome mature face into his teenage face. Draco almost cried because of that error, it was because he wanted to make a surprise present for Pansy that made him look like that.

Why didn't he test it on someone else? Because he was banned by Blaise.

While Draco was crying sadly, the voldemort who was in the afterlife was so jealous that he wanted to flip over his grave if he had one! Well after some adjustments in the potion he succeeded in brewing one that makes skin tighter, glossy and soft.

(His friends had laughed after seeing his face. It didn’t stop for hours, making Draco more unhappy as he threw Pansy’s gift to her face which she caught with no problem.)

After Regulus finally finished eating the mountain of food, the cousin duo went to Regulus' room.

“I made a plan while you were sleeping! First thing we will learn is the true manner of the prince of Slytherin! Second one is a proper lord! These two things we will be learning in these two months! If we are lucky then we will finish within one month!” Draco’s whole demeanor had changed from casual to professional. Regulus sat on the chair in front of the desk, he took out a whole new diary, deciding to use it as a means of writing his notes.

“Let’s begin with what it means to be a prince of Slytherin.” Draco’s calm and steady voice was heard behind Regulus.

“Being Prince of Slytherin means a way to help guide both his house and the Wizarding world from the shadows. That is why Salazar Slytherin created that position!” As Regulus wrote down, he was extremely delighted and impressed at the history behind the title he thought was not so much of use as having power over the house.

Regulus liked the lost history that hadn't been mentioned by Bloody baron, when he brought him to the Hydra throne. “You already have the seven traits one must have to possess the title! We will further strengthen those seven traits that is why we need our uncle Alphard to teach you about business in real experience.”

Finally! Regulus understood why Draco made a deal with his uncle.

“To be a prince of Slytherin means when you talk about serious matters every Slytherin’s attention gathers on you without having you in the need of making it clear!” Regulus paused, that was also his first time hearing about. He hadn’t known such a thing existed, and by every means older or younger Slytherin will listen to him.

“As a prince, you need to have a group of friends you wholeheartedly believe and trust, they also have to give you their beliefs and trust without any hesitation. Because they will become your hands, eyes, mouth and feet!” Regulus in fact actually has that group of friends already.

“Always think ten steps ahead of everyone! Have a backup plan! Observe who is an ally and who is an enemy! Be attentive to those who will betray you! Use them to your benefit!” Regulus wrote them down, as the words echoed in his brain.

“Let your right/left hand man or woman question you, why you are doing those things to prevent any rebellion from starting. Let them ask things they don’t understand why you are doing that to give them peace of mind so that they won’t think anything else or start doubting your intentions!” Regulus tentatively writes down everything without stopping to ask questions. Only after Draco stopped talking and he stopped writing did he realize that Draco had used the method of Slytherin’s focus only on me!

Regulus suddenly felt this method was powerful, to be able to control audience attention by just talking.

Regulus turned to look at his cousin, who was smiling at him at some point. Regulus hadn’t even noticed that his cousin had been sitting on his bed that was two steps away. “And lastly, as Prince of Slytherin you have to be able to create a formation in the great hall of Hogwarts!”

Regulus turned around and wrote it down before putting down his quill. “What do you mean by formation?”

“It means, the entire Slytherin house will huddled together on their seat in the great hall preventing others from hearing their conversation or expression while talking about important things such as our plan or it can be used to isolate Slytherin houses from other houses and professors.” Draco explained as he raised one finger up. Regulus never had heard such a thing, and never seen it either.

“Is this what you made up? In your timeline?” Draco looked at him with gentle and proud eyes. “Yes! That is what I made up to rebel against Dumbledore!?”

Regulus was taken aback by his cousin’s words. “Rebel against Dumbledore? What have he done?"

“That bastard had given unreasonable points to Gryffindor, made our Slytherin hard work in vain!” Draco said with gritted teeth, looking very much angry. Meanwhile Regulus nodded in understanding, he had noticed the headmaster’s favoritism towards Gryffindor house.

Setting thoughts about Dumbledore’s unfairness, Regulus was extremely excited about the stuff he was about to learn.

Maybe he was obvious in his eagerness to study, his cousin stood up from where he was sitting and floated toward the door. “Alright enough with talking, come along cousin!”

Regulus also stood up from his seat and followed after him.

Regulus watches as his cousin again takes over his mother’s body. “…..”

Regulus' body went very still, seeing his mother smiling at him. His *mother* looked at him with a mischievous eye.

“What are you waiting for! Let’s go.” Regulus heard his mother’s voice that was clearly filled with calmness, there was no emotion or anger than calm.

Regulus wasn’t used to it, he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at his cousin’s likeness of possessing his mother’s body.

After walking for a while, they arrived at the ballroom.

Regulus noticed the wand his cousin was holding wasn’t his mother’s. Should be his cousin’s own wand.

A silencing charm, Regulus noticed.
