So talked to a friend about Friends some time ago and said that out of all the gang, Ross is the weakest link of the group. And I can completely agree with this like, his kinda possessive about a HIGHSCHOOL CRUSH, gets the girl, and proceeds to ruin the relationship by:
1) forcing himself into Rachel's work life (a field that his not remotely familiar with)
2) did not understand the assignment when it comes to boundaries
3) Now technically they were on a break buuuuuut he also did immediately go sleep with another woman while on the break faster than bullets left guns as Chandler said.
4) Tried to hide it instead of talking it out
5) I don't know if he's in the wrong for this but what else how are you supposed to feel about your friend using your grandma's ring and your sleep deprived ex-wife thought they were proposing to her
6) it’s sprinkled through the show but he’s also kinda homophobic and sexist. Not sure about the homophobia but does hold a bit of a grudge in the first season about ex wife 1 Carol
this is all at the top of my head but pretty anti-Ross and Joey/Rachel should have sailed
so if I were to write one I would probably write it at either the end of season three or do a Monica Chandler situation at the end of season four. Or like in the episode “the one with the boobies” where Rachel sees Joey’s thing for example.
