i have no idea what I wanted the plot to be but i really like Polin as a dark Romance (not really sure about this) with a definite unhinge Colin Bridgerton would either 1) find out about Penelope and would help her by also writing and helping her with intel like As my dear companion and partner Lady Whistledown sights Lord Berbrooke has no morals and is worse than Judas himself or 2) Start writing since the beginning because Lady Whistledown bashed Penelope
