*Clunk....clunk*. “hey! *clunk* Scorpius!” Albus whispered. He bent down to pick up another rock when suddenly there came a quiet click from above him. “A-albus! What are you doing here?!” Scorpius glanced down at his watch. He looked back up in shock. “Albus its 4 in the morning! how did u even get here?”
“Quick let me in!” replied Albus.
Without a warning, Albus jumped up onto the cold stone wall and started climbing. “Hey, hey! Wait a minute!” Scorpius closed his window and disappeared from view. Albus jumped down and landed with a heavy thud. “HEY! COME BACK!”
‘What is he up to...’ albus thought.
Scorpius appeared around the corner holding a candle lit torch. “Come in through the front doors, my father is out until tomorrow evening.” Scorpius ran over and took Albus’s hand. “Quickly, its cold.” Albus complied and followed him inside.
They took a seat on Scorpius’s four postered bed. Albus threw his jacket and a small rucksack onto the ground in front of them. “Al.” Scorpius turned and looked at Albus. “How in merlin's beard did you get here? I don't even see your broom?” Albus was too busy looking around the grand room to realise that Scorpius was talking “You’ve gathered a lot more... stuff since I was here last”
Scorpius took Albus's jaw in his hand and turned it to face him. “Al. C'mon, why are you here, you know your parents are going to flip when they find out you’re gone again!” Albus stared at Scorpius for a minute before replying. “We’re leaving. Tonight.” Scorpius stared at Albus in shock. “You and your family? But I haven't said goodbye yet! Oh no, James! Lily! Your parents! I don’t have any goodbye gifts prepared I-” He was cut off by a hand covering his mouth. “No Scorp, us! we’re going to run away!”
Silence filled the room when suddenly they heard a creak of a door being opened and what sounded like a very angry Draco. “Scorpius!” Albus said in a hushed whisper. “You said your father wouldn’t be back until tomorrow evening!” In a quiet hurry, Scorpius shoved Albus’s belongings under his bed and beckoned Albus to follow. Albus complied without argue. He could hear Scorpius blow out his torch and shuffle into his bed.
Just as Scorpius got comfortable, his bedroom door creaked open slowly.
