The First Visit To Many

She sighed and walked over to Mister Elwin.
Elwin, a man with brown hair and funny looking glasses, his robe designed with lots of animals on it, specifically hippogriffs and mermaids looked up, “Hello dear, what can I help you with?”
“Uh hi, I burnt my hand in potions, Professor Galvin sent me here.”
“Let me see then.” He said, grabbing his wand.
Sophie held her hand out for Elwin to see. He hummed and flicked his wand, causing her hand to turn a variety of different colors.
“Ah, I see. Second degree burns.” He clicked his tongue and flicked his wand again, making the colors disappear.
Sophie looked shocked, “Actually?”
“Yes, no matter though, nothing a little burn-healing paste can’t fix.” Elwin dug out a container of thick orange paste and scooped some out, “This might sting.”
She nodded and winced as he applied the burn-healing paste to her burn.
“There we go, wasn’t too bad right?” He asked Sophie after finishing applying the paste.
Sophie shrugged, the paste still stinging, “Fine.”
“Alright then, you’re free to go,” Elwin looked at the clock, “Just in time too, it’s lunch.”
“Thank you so much!” She waved at him before leaving the hospital wing.

~~~~~~~~~~~~Keefe’s POV~~~~~~~~~~~~
Keefe couldn’t stop thinking about that girl as he walked back to his ditching spot. Sophie Foster, an adorable name for an adorable girl.
She probably wouldn’t like him though, he was a Slytherin, she was a Gryffindor, it was practically forbidden.
He packed up his art supplies and slung his book bag over his shoulder, heading to lunch.
On his way, Keefe ran into Fitz leaving potions, “Hey man!” Keefe exclaimed.
Fitz grinned, “You ditched didn’t you?”
“How’d you know?”
“You used to always skip in elementary school.” He laughed.
Keefe scoffed, “You caught me but can you really blame me, at least I show up for tests and stuff.”
They walked into the Great Hall together, chatting. Because they didn’t have to sit at house tables for breakfast and lunch, the two of them sat together with Alvar and Biana, who was rolling her eyes while being scolded by Alvar about family legacies. That struck Keefe in the heart even if he wasn’t the one being scolded.
He decided to change the subject, “So Sophie Foster, she told me she met you and Alvar.”
Fitz nodded, “Oh yeah, I sat with her at breakfast, she’s a real nice girl, super cute too.”
“Oh yeah, she is.” Keefe tried not to scowl in jealousy.
“Where is she anyway?”
“Probably wandering the halls trying to get to lunch, I had to lead Foster to the healing wing because she got lost.”
Fitz laughed and then perked up, looking at something behind Keefe. Keefe turned around and looked where Fitz was looking, seeing Sophie enter the Great Hall. Fitz waved, calling her over.
Sophie walked over and took a seat next to Keefe, “Hey guys, sorry I got a bit lost.”
“Barely know you and I can already figure out why you doing arrive in time.” Keefe and Fitz shared a laugh.
Sophie flushed, “Oh shut up.”
Keefe laughed again and took a bite of his sandwich.
“So,” Fitz started, “Have you met Biana yet?”
Sophie shook her head and glanced at who she believed was Biana.
“Biana!” Biana turned her head away from her argument with Alvar and to Fitz, “I want you to meet Sophie.”
Fitz gestured to Sophie, who awkwardly waved.
“Sophie, this is Biana, my sister.”
Sophie awkwardly said, “Hi, nice to meet you.”
Biana beamed, “Nice to meet you too.”
Keefe was smiling silently throughout the whole interaction but in reality he was staring dreamily at Sophie.
“Keefe?” Her angelic voice rang out.
He blinked a couple times, “Yeah Foster?”
“Why are you staring at me?”
Keefe quickly covered it up with a very believable lie, “Just zoning out, sorry.”
“Oh, okay. I just had to make sure you were okay.” Sophie smiled softly.
Keefe smirked back and everyone continued to chat till lunch was over.
