Always Yours
"Look here it is!"
Remus turns around and sees Sirius holding the exact book he had been looking for, only he saw the price too.
Remus frowns slightly, but walks over and holds the book skimming through pages. "Shame they didn't have it in the library"
Sirius looks confused. "Well we have it here don't we?"
Remus gets slightly embarrassed and slides it back on the shelf. "Yeah but it's bloody expensive, maybe another time"
Sirius was going to just buy the book for him, but Remus had dragged him out of the shop clearly wanting to forget about the whole situation.

Sirius felt a coin in his pocket and looks around before slipping it into Remus' back pocket.
Remus yawns coming out of their dorm bathroom and slips on his trousers and jumper before kissing Sirius' forehead.
"Breakfast?"
Sirius smiles and nods and holds Remus' hand as they make their way down to the great hall.
Since it was christmas, very few students stayed at Hogwarts. So Remus and Sirius had most of the castle to themselves apart from ghosts and professors in between.
The breakfast was a bit nicer since it was christmas eve, there were definitely more christmas cookies to choose from.
"I got you a gift"
Sirius looks up from his food with a smile. "You didn't have to"
Remus shrugs, stabbing his bacon. "It's not much but, yeah"
Sirius smiles and reaches over to hold Remus' hand in his. "No matter what it is I'll be happy, you could have drawn us blindfolded and it would be the best gift ever"
Remus cracks a smile and Sirius lets go of his hand to take a drink.

Remus opens his eyes slowly and smiles when Sirius was lay on his chest, hair spread everywhere.
Christmas fucking day.
Remus started to rethink his gift, Sirius knew him and his family were broke, and have never been able to afford a gift before. But still.
After a few minutes of overthinking Sirius starts stirring and slowly lifts his head up from Remus.
"Merry Christmas love"
Remus grins and strokes Sirius' hair gently,m trying to untangle the black mess. "Merry christmas darling"
Sirius groans and climbs out of bed, doing a big stretch before putting on boxers and pajama pants, he throws some to Remus too.
They move over to Sirius' made bed and sit opposite eachother with their gifts. "Me or you?"
Remus brings a small gift from behind his back and places is in front of Sirius. He raises his eyebrows playfully before gently taking off the wrapper.
Inside was a small box, smaller than his palm. He opens the lid and inside was a ring. Quite stunning, some sort of metal shaped with leaves that wrapped around the finger.
On the inside of the ring it says. 'I will always be yours'.
Sirius gasps and tries the ring on, it was perfect. "Remus this is gorgeous, where did you even get it?"
Remus laughs sheepishly. "It was my mothers"
Sirius' eyes dart up. "Are you sure you want me to have it? It's beautiful but I hope you didn't feel pressured to give it to me"
Remus shakes his head, even though the passing of his mother still hurt, he wanted Sirius to have the ring.
"I gave it to you because I thought of you everytime I saw it, and because you will always be mine, and I yours"
Sirius nods his head blushing slightly. "Okay and I absolutely love it, it will never be off my finger"
Remus laughs and Sirius jumps over to hug him tightly making him fall backwards on the bed. Sirius moves his head to be face to face with Remus before leaving a small kiss.
"Your turn!"
Remus groans inside, he hates receiving gifts, always made him feel so guilty. He holds the gift in his hand before slowly taking the wrapper off.
"I know you don't like big expensive gifts so, hope this is good"
Remus was staring down at the same book from a few weeks ago, that was way out of Remus' money range.
He looks slowly up at Sirius. "But this was so expensive"
A smile appears on Sirius' face. "It was nothing, come here"
Remus laughs as Sirius pulls him into a big hug. "Thank you so much, I love you"
Sirius pulls back. "I love you more!"
