Note
This came from a pov that @ supernova.jp did that I've seen about an hour ago and I couldn't stop crying imagining it. I even decided to write something about and this was it.

Sirius found himself in Grimmauld Place, a house he hated with every fiber of his being. But there, in the oppressive darkness and memories of his detestable family, there was something that compelled him to stay. Regulus. His little brother, lost in the shadows of the war. Sirius had never understood why Regulus had switched sides, why he had abandoned the cause they both, in theory, repudiated. However, now, with the discovery of an old, dusty diary hidden in Regulus’s room, everything started to make sense.

The diary was filled with desperate notes from a young man who had discovered Voldemort’s true nature and had decided to take action. He had read about an object, a horcrux, hidden in a cave, and how his brother had decided to destroy it. Regulus had planned everything meticulously, including his own disappearance.

Sirius trembled as he read the last entry. He could feel Regulus’s anguish and despair, his fear and determination. He closed the diary with trembling hands, determined to follow in his brother’s footsteps.

The cave was dark and damp, a place that seemed to breathe evil. Every step he took echoed with an unsettling sound, as if the very walls were warning him to leave. But Sirius would not stop. Not now. Not after everything he had discovered.

As he ventured deeper, he found the black lake and the small island in the center. There, in the midst of that sinister lake, was the basin where Regulus had left his life. The basin glowed with a malevolent light, and Sirius could imagine his brother there, alone and terrified, facing his fate.

Thoughts crowded his mind. Guilt, pain, anger. Why hadn’t he been there for him? Why had he been so blind? Sirius knelt beside the basin, feeling the weight of his brother’s tragedy. He touched the edge of the basin and felt a cold burn in his fingers, a sensation that coursed through his entire body.

At that moment, a figure emerged from the lake. It was an Inferi, a corpse reanimated by dark magic, with empty eyes and icy hands. Sirius stepped back, but more figures began to rise from the water. They were crawling towards him, whispers of death and despair filling the air.

With a cry of rage and pain, Sirius cast spell after spell, trying to keep the creatures at bay. But there were too many. For a moment, he felt everything was lost, that he couldn’t escape the fate that had trapped his brother.

Then, in a flash of inspiration, he remembered Regulus’s words in the diary. “The only way to destroy it is with true love.” Sirius didn’t know if it would work, but he had to try. He closed his eyes, focusing on the happiest memories he had of his brother, the moments of laughter and camaraderie they had shared before everything went wrong.

He opened his eyes, and with renewed determination, he shouted a spell that resonated throughout the cave. A bright light emanated from his wand, enveloping the creatures and dispelling the darkness. The Inferi retreated, disintegrating in the air as the light grew.

When the last shadow disappeared, Sirius collapsed to his knees, exhausted but victorious. He had accomplished what Regulus couldn’t: destroy the horcrux and free his spirit from the curse that had trapped him.

With tears in his eyes, Sirius stood up, holding Regulus’s diary against his chest. “I did it, brother,” he whispered. “I did it for you.”

The cave, now empty and calm, echoed with his words as Sirius walked away, leaving behind the shadows of the past and carrying with him his brother’s legacy.
