Day 14 Golden Dragon Koi Fish
The reflection of the water as you gazed at the woman reflected back up at you mimicked your smile was a pretty sight. But you weren't looking at your own reflection but that of the more beautiful woman just right behind you. Her orange eyes were narrowed in concentration, eyebrows furrowed, and head tilted.
You couldn't turn your head around to look at her or else she'll yell at you to turn back around facing forward and forcibly turn your head back around before going back to fixing your hair that was currently in shambles thanks to it being extremely windy that morning and you had been taken swimming with Kyojuro because he insisted on you coming to meet his family your 'inlaws' according to mermaid customs you supposed. Apparently getting your hair blown around by guests of wind and them wetting it down with water could cause massive knots to become tangled in it. Who knew?
Makio had been absolutely appalled by the time you came back soaking wet (you've learnt to get used to the feeling of getting drenched by now and learnt to keep lots of towels ready) and had scolded both you and Kyojuro on allowing your hair to get into such an unhealthy state before ordering you to go inside and dry off right that second! Not wanting to endure more of her yelling you complied changing into dry clothes before coming back out to immediately getting jumped by said mermaid and now here you were. Sitting down on some rocks as she mumbled to herself and started using her hands to expertly pluck the strands of your hair apart rotating between using her hands and a random gold comb to pull out the knots.
"How did you even let yourself get like this?! I expected this from Suma! I swear you both make it your lives goals to drive me crazy!"
