Chuuya has been Dazai's partner in the Port Mafia for around a year. He may not have known exactly when it became a year, but he knew one thing. He hated Dazai. He hated everything about him. And because he hated everything about him, he didn't believe Dazai when he told him that he would like his “second in command” from Hogwarts.
Chuuya didn't know much about Blaise, but he did know Dazai was constantly writing him letters and sending them through an owl? He still didn't understand that. He also didn't understand how Blaise convinced Dazai to write him letters when he couldn't even convince the guy to send him a text (instead of barging into his living quarters). Which is what Dazai just did.
Apparently, because Dazai's reputation at Hogwarts was better, he was allowed to be seen at the mouthboys. Or was it mouthfoys? Whoever they were! Dazai told him that he was supposed to be his plus one and help spy on any important individuals. Typical undercover mission. Except this one was in England and Dazai's “gang” would be there.
“Pansy, just ignore her. She'll probably annoy you because she's really good at being annoying.” Dazai was rambling.
“Sounds like you have competition.” Chuuya commented.
“Draco, the one who's mansion we're going to, is pretty obedient. He's full of himself, kinda like you! He won't bother you.” Dazai ignored his comment.
“Hey-”
“Blaise will also be there. He's excited to meet you! Or maybe not excited since he doesn't get excited. I think you two will get along because-”
“Because we're like two sides of the same coin. Yeah I know. You've said it so many times, my ears will fall off before you get your perfect suicide.”
“Oh no! You'll be short AND deaf! How unfortunate. Good thing I won't be alive by then!”
“Shut your mouth about my height, asshole!”
“I see you're preparing your volume for when you're deaf! Good luck, Chuuuuya!” Dazai started to leave.
“Where the hell are you going!?”
“To blow up your new car!”
“God, I hate you!”
“Yeah you do!”
Yeah. He definitely hates Dazai.

Chuuya and Dazai stood in front of the Malfoy's mansion, at the time the ball started for once. Chuuya didn't know why Dazai pointed this out, since the Port Mafia was never late to anything, but he didn't get much of an answer from Dazai.
They had been welcomed into a fancy ballroom, not incredibly different from one's he's seen on other missions. Dazai had a serious face, in his “demon prodigy” persona. The two discussed with a few adults before three people around their age approached them.
“Dazai!” The blonde boy shouted. He must be Draco. Chuuya looked at the other two and deduced they were Blaise and Pansy. “What are you doing socializing? You do know the kids don't HAVE to do that.”
“Well, since you must know, Draco. I've got some orders-”
“Who's this?” Pansy interrupted Dazai, gesturing to Chuuya.
“Ah that is Chuuya! My partner. Chuuya, I'm sure you've already figured it out, but this is Pansy.” Dazai pointed to Pansy then to Draco and Blaise. “This is Draco and this is Blaise!”
They all shared slightly pleasant greetings before Dazai, for some reason, dragged Draco off somewhere else (Pansy followed to “protect” Draco). This left Chuuya alone with Blaise. Chuuya didn't know what he expected from Blaise, but it definitely wasn't someone so chill. From how Dazai talked about him, he seemed to always be fawning over Dazai's health, which contrasted to his nonchalance.
“So you're Chuuya? I've heard a lot about you. It's nice to meet you.” Blaise held out his hand.
“Likewise.” Chuuya shook his hand. “Dazai talks about me? I never would've thought that.” Chuuya faked that he didn't care, but his heart was already warming up.
“Oh yeah. All the time. He's also obsessed with comparing us, for some reason. Always saying we're-”
“Like two sides of the same coin?” Chuuya finished his sentence.
“I see he's talked about me too.”
“Basically everyday. ‘Blaise is so mean’ this, ‘Blaise keeps trying to get me to eat’ that.” Chuuya mocked Dazai's whining.
Blaise chuckled. “That does sound like Dazai.”
“So then what does that bastard say about me? Probably only talks about my height.”
“Actually not as much as you'd think. I don't think he'd want me to tell you this, but he talks a lot about how you take care of him, secretly.”
Chuuya blushed. He didn't think Dazai noticed that. “Yeah well he's always getting into trouble.”
“There too huh? He always says trouble follows him, but I'm convinced he is the trouble.”
“You might be right.” Chuuya laughed. He definitely liked Blaise.
“It seems like neither helping Dazai out secretly or bluntly is any help at all.”
“You know how he is. Always insisting he's okay.” Chuuya rolled his eyes.
“Always downplaying any injuries.”
“Always changing the subject.”
“Always getting grossed out by emotions.” Chuuya and Blaise laughed together.
“You know, maybe Dazai was right about the coin thing.” Blaise contemplated.
“Maybe, but don't tell him that. It'll only boost his ego.”
“He'd be bragging for weeks.”
“So which side of the coin do you want?”
“I don't really care.”
“Perfect because I want heads.”
“I guess I'm tails.” Blaise nodded to Chuuya.
“Hey, what are you two talking about!?” Dazai popped up out of nowhere.
“Jeez! Stop surprising people! Not everyone likes to be surprised, jackass!” Chuuya grunted, more angry that he jumped than at Dazai.
“Ah, Blaise save me! Chibi Chuuya might attack me!” Dazai hid behind Blaise.
“Why you-” Chuuya noticed Dazai stiffen and stopped mid insult.
“Hello boys.” A man with long blonde hair approached them, he looked straight into Chuuya's eyes, with a little curiosity, and back at Dazai. This must be Draco's father. I thought the boss had spoken to him to tell him someone else from the Port Mafia would be there. Unless I wasn't really supposed to come and Dazai just brought me for no reason. “Pardon the intrusion, but may I speak to you and your plus one?”
Chuuya and Dazai straightened immediately. Well, back to work we go.
“Of course.”
