A surprise
The marauders quickly got settled into their next year of university. The four shared a dorm although they weren't doing all the same classes, as Remus and James both wanted to be detectives, Sirius wanted to be a sergeant and Peter wanted to be a police officer. Eventually, classes started again. The marauders took their usual seats at the back of the class. James went on his phone immediately to his and Lily's messages. Sirius leaned over to see James’s phone.
“Lily, again? Are you ever going to ask her out?” Sirius asked.
“Yes, I will! Someday.” James replied
“Oh really? When?”
“Um… today. After class!”
Fuck fuck fuck James thought. Why did I have to say that?
The other 3 boys looked surprised.
“We’ll be watching then,” Sirius said.
“All right, class is starting now!” Professor Flitwick said as he came into the class.
James quickly got out his books and laptop. He listened to Professor Flitwick and suddenly the classroom doors swung open. Two boys ran in, one had blonde hair and the other had brown hair, partly dyed green. A boy walked in behind them with black hair. James couldn’t tell if his eyes were green or hazel but he knew one thing.
He was hot.
James turned around and saw Sirius looking at them with shock.
“That… that’s Regulus,” Sirius said quietly
