Discovery 1
“Dazai.” Blaise’s voice called to him. Dazai, in his sleepy daze, wasn’t exactly sure where he was, but his head was laying on a pillow, that…breathed? “Dazai.” Blaise called again, his voice much louder in Dazai’s ear laying on his chest. Dazai groaned, he didn’t want to move away from the warmth that Blaise provided. Blaise, on the other hand, seemed much too in a hurry for Dazai’s liking. He unwrapped his arms from around Dazai's waist and shook Dazai's shoulder. “Come on Dazai, I've already let you skip breakfast.”
Dazai popped up. He'd been asleep that long? He hadn't ever slept that long, other than when he was in the infirmary for days, but that didn't count. “How much time do we have until we get detention for missing class?”
“About 20 minutes.” Blaise shrugged.
“Well get ready then!” Dazai hurriedly put his robes on.
“Don't forget to brush your teeth.” Blaise reminded him. He knew Dazai rarely did anything for the betterment of his own health. Blaise stood in front of the mirror and brushed his teeth as well.
“Yeah yeah.” Dazai rolled his eyes, already cleaning his teeth. He knew Blaise would say that. “Done!”
“Same. Wait, stay still.” Blaise walked up to Dazai and brushed his hands through his hair. Dazai closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling, when he felt a brush.
“No no no! No brushes! Blaise should know I like to keep appearances!” Dazai pouted and backed away, messing his hair up again.
“At least let me fix this.” Blaise reached up at a certain spot where his hair was sticking up. Dazai let him, reluctantly. When Blaise was done, he moved his hand to cup Dazai's cheek, staring into his eyes. He smiled and whispered. “Perfect.”
Dazai's face heated up. Blaise always said such cheesy things. Blaise just laughed at Dazai's reaction and pulled his face closer to his. They shared a sweet kiss.
“You taste like toothpaste.” Blaise said. Dazai pouted.
“Blaise does too!” Dazai leaned in for another kiss, Blaise moved one of his hands to Dazai's waist.
“Hey Snakey! Do you- oh.” Fred barged in.
“What is it my dear brother- oh .” George followed.
Fred and George took in the scene. Dazai pushed Blaise away, harsher than he intended, knocking him onto the ground. Dazai internally apologized.
“It's not what you think!” Dazai defended an argument he would lose.
“You..”
“And Blaise..”
“Are dating!?” The twins shouted.
“No! I mean yes! But-”
“Hey it's alright Snakey!”
“We just didn't know you swung that way!”
“Of course we always knew about Blaise!”
“We should've known about you too, right Fred?”
“Correct, dear George.”
“Wait a second.” Blaise said getting up from the ground. “How'd you know about me?”
“You didn't exactly try to hide it.”
“Yeah you follow Snakey around like he's the only person that exists to you!”
Blaise felt his face heat up. He wondered if anyone else also knew.
“So how long have you two been snogging without our knowledge?”
“What is snogging and why does it sound unsanitary?” Dazai grimaced.
“You know! Necking!”
“Tonsil hockey!”
“Ooo creative one! Tongue wrestling!”
Blaise was going to explode. Dazai was imagining buff tongues with arms wrestling.
“Thank you, brother of mine! Swapping spit!”
“Sucking face!”
“Smooching!”
“Canoodling- you know. Maybe we don't want to know anymore actually.”
“I agree. How long have you two been dating?”
“Barely even a full day!” Dazai cheered. He wasn't exactly concerned about his friends knowing. Friends. When did I get this attached?
“Oh. Well that's a lot less than we thought.”
“We for sure thought you two were dating this whole time in secret.” Fred said, George nodding along.
“So then, are you guys going to tell everyone else? Or is this supposed to be a secret?” George asked, Fred mimicking zipping his mouth closed.
“Whatever Dazai wants.” Blaise shrugged.
“As long as the whole school doesn't find out.” Dazai said.

The whole school found out.
Dazai wasn't feeling particularly secretive about his love affairs, but he couldn't have the news getting spread to the Daily Prophet then to Mori.
Dazai sat in a chair, ignoring whatever prank ideas the twins were spewing, opting to guess which punishment Mori would give when he found out.
“Okay. What in Merlin's name is going on with you two?!” Draco burst out in the middle of the meeting. Correction, Dazai sat on Blaise’s lap in a chair. Blaise's empty seat was next to them.
“Whatever do you mean Draco?” Dazai feigned innocence.
“You're quite literally snuggling or whatever it is you're doing during a meeting when there is room right there!”
“Does Draco feel jealous that I won't sit on his lap? Sorry but I'm taken”
“Taken? Yeah right! Who would want to date you?” Pansy snorted.
“Right? Dazai and taken don't belong in the same sentence.” Ron laughed.
“Rude! I'll have you know I am in a very happy relationship with Blaise!”
The room got quiet. The twins were holding in a laugh.
“I knew it!” Hermione shouted.
“I thought that was just rumors.” Ron said.
“I called it before the rumors!” Hermione bragged.
“He's obviously lying!” Pansy scoffed, folding her arms. The gang turned to look at Blaise and Dazai. “Actually…maybe not.”
“Blaise is this true?” Draco asked. He didn't want to fall for Dazai's trick if he actually was lying; he'd done that enough.
“Yeah.” Blaise confirmed, a small almost unnoticeable smile on his face. Everyone gaped. Blaise was… smiling. He never did that. Dazai blushed at Blaise's smile and hid his face in Blaise's chest.
“You guys are so cute!” Hermione squealed.
“Anything with Snakey is cute!”
“But you better not hurt our little brother, Blaise!”
“I intend to protect him forever.” Blaise said.
Hermione squealed again. The twins awed. Pansy made a disgusted face, though she was internally awing. Ron was feeling extra single and Draco watched with a small smile.
“Blaise shouldn't say such things!” Dazai blushed harder.
“But you're so cute when he does!” Fred said.
“I am not cute! You guys are so mean, I might have to demote you!”
The twins gasped. “You wouldn't dare!”
Dazai proceeded to threaten to demote everyone who called him cute. Blaise just admired Dazai's blush, knowing he wouldn't get demoted.
