Just Cry Dammit
They both were stunned as they listened to you, you were right, they were allowed to be emotional... But they had both gotten so used to arguing and trying to bottle up their emotions that they had basically forgot how to be emotional or how to express their emotions... They were both silent for a moment, the eye-contact they had been keeping broke as the both looked down to avoid breaking down. "... I... I'm not used to being emotional anymore..." Harry mumbled silently as his hands ran through his hair.
"Look at each other I know your gonna both cry just do it you need it"
They were both stunned by your comment, but they knew you were right. They had both spent so long bottling up their emotions they had basically forgotten how to express them. They both gave in and looked back at each other. Harry was first to try to speak but his voice was very shaky. "I... I don't... Know if I can...." He mumbled quietly.
"You can dad just look at him and think about who he is you got this"
Harry was quiet for a moment, he avoided looking at Draco for a bit but he eventually obeyed you and began looking at him. He was speechless and tense at the sight of his ex-husband... Every thought he had about Draco, his smile, his laugh, his voice, was suddenly rushing through his mind at that moment. He was silent for a minute but eventually he managed to speak... His voice was shaky and tears were welling up in his eyes. "... Draco..." He mumbled as he looked at his ex-husband. Draco was stunned just by Harry saying his name... He had missed that more than he realised... He mumbled as his own eyes welled up with tears. "... Harry...." He mumbled under his breath, his voice shaky and on the verge of breaking down.
She smiles softly at them
The two of them sat there in silence for a moment, their eyes on each other. They were both on the verge of breaking down in tears, seeing each other again had brought up a lot of emotions and memories they had both desperately tried to suppress and forget. After a moment Harry mumbled his voice tense and shaky. "... god... It's been so long..." He mumbled as he tried not to let the tears fall.
Draco was also on the verge of breaking down in tears, he wanted to say so many things to Harry... But he didn't know where to start. He spoke but his voice was shaky and he couldn't look at Harry. ".. I-... I feel like an idiot... We spent so many years pushing everything aside and we could've just... I don't know..." He mumbled as he held back the tears streaming down his face.
"Look at him"
They sat there in silence for a moment, they could both feel themselves on the verge of bursting out into tears but despite that they obeyed you. They both took a shaky breath as they looked at each other again, their eyes on each other. Draco and Harry were both on the verge of tears at the sight of each other... "Keep going your doing great I'm proud of both of you"

"And why do you think you couldn't put it to the side for eachother?"
They were both quiet for a minute, your question had them stunned... They were both aware of why they couldn't put their arguments aside for each other... but it was hard to admit and say out loud... It was Draco who spoke first. "... We got so used to having stupid arguments and fighting. We forgot how to just put our issues aside for each other..." He mumbled quietly as tears streamed down his face.
"You don't think you were scared at all?"

They were both silent for a minute before Harry spoke, his voice shaky and tense. "... Maybe... maybe there was an aspect of fear there too..." He mumbled as tears streamed down his face.
"And what caused those fears?"
They were both quiet for a moment as they thought about what caused their fears... They both knew exactly what caused them, but it was hard to admit... It was Draco who spoke first. "... I think we were both... scared of losing each other..." He mumbled as tears streamed down his face.
"Yet you lost eachother due to your fear instead of talking"
They were both stunned as they listened to you... You were right, but they had never thought of it that way before... They were both silent for a moment as they thought about your words. Eventually Harry mumbled as tears streamed down his face. "... we were both so scared of losing each other... that we actually lost each other..." He mumbled as the realization sunk in.
"I know you both had issues in the past with communication hell you had rough relationships in every aspect but open your eyes dammit and look at eachother at the person inside that you fell in love with"
They were both shocked by your statement... It was blunt but it was the truth. They both were staring down at the floor but you were right, they needed to look at each other instead. After a moment they both slowly looked at each other, and it took them a minute to do so but their eyes finally met. They both were both tense and tears streamed down their faces, but they had their eyes on each other...
"Just look in the others eyes and think about all the good things what made you fall in love before the arguments and tension and fear"
They were both stunned but they obeyed your demand, they both sat there silently as they stared at each other... "Now take a deep breath as you look at eachother thinking of those moments and relax"

But they both obeyed and they took deep breaths as they looked at each other. They continued to think of each and every good memory they had, and as they did so they both started to slowly relax... The tension in the room slowly started to dissolve as they relaxed...
"Now dad," looks at harry "You go first tell him how you feel about him honestly and fully"
Harry was taken off guard by your statement but he understood the point of it and he looked at Draco as he took a shaky breath. He was silent for a moment but he began talking, his voice shaky but it was honest. "... I-... I..." He mumbled, tears were streaming down his face and he clearly was nervous but he continued. "I love him... I miss him. I miss the times we spent together... I miss the years we spent together... I miss being with him and I miss waking up to him... I love him so much..."
"Don't say it to me say it to him I'm not here"
Harry was stunned but he understood your point. He looked back at Draco and his voice was shaky and emotional as he continued. "I-... I love you... I miss you... I miss everything about you. I miss the times we spent together, the nights we spent together, when we went on dates, when we had stupid little arguments, when we were happy together... I love you so much and I never stopped missing you in the years we were apart..."
"Good now," looks at "draco your turn"
Draco was stunned by Harry's words, he almost burst into tears but he quickly took a shaky breath and composed himself. He looked at Harry, his voice shaky and emotional. "... I love you too... I miss everything about you. Every stupid argument... Every date we went on... Every night we spent together... I love you so much and I've never stopped missing you since we broke up..." He mumbled, tears were streaming down his face as he spoke.
"Now I wanna do an experiment, yall down?"
They were both stunned, both of them were clearly emotional and they were both on the verge of breaking down into tears but they both nodded and listened to you. "What's the experiment...?" Draco mumbled quietly.
"Stand up and come over to me"
They were both stunned and curious but they both stood up from their seats and walked over to you. They were both tense, but they waited to see what you had planned.
She pushes them towards eachother "hug"
They were both stunned by your push but they ended up close together, their bodies almost touching. They both were tense and nervous but after a moment they wrapped their arms around each other in a tight hug.
"Now let go or everything"
They were both taken off guard by your words but they both knew they were right. They both took a deep breath and held each other tighter, their arms wrapping around each other's bodies. They both held each other tight as they let go of their tension, their emotions, their fear, their arguing... Everything they had been holding back was being let go of as they hugged...
"Let the tears out"
They were both stunned, tears were already streaming down their faces but your words had them breaking down completely. They both let out a shaky breath before they both held each other tighter and burst into tears. They both buried their faces in each other's shoulders as they both broke down crying.
She left the room for a little bit before coming back in the room
They were both so focused on each other that they didn't even notice how long you were gone. They were both holding each other tight and sobbing, but after a few minutes they heard footsteps as you came back into the room.
She hands them tissues.
They were both taken off guard as you handed them tissues and they both mumbled a quiet 'thank you' as they took them from you. They both were still holding each other tight and sobbing but they started to wipe the tears from their faces with the tissues as they sniffled.
She sits down to read letting them have there moment.

After a moment Harry spoke, his voice quiet and shaky. ".. I missed you so much..." Draco was quiet for a moment before replying, his voice shaky but quiet. "I missed you too..." He mumbled quietly. He was still sniffling and wiping the tears from his face but he was starting to calm down. Harry held him tighter and was quiet for a moment. "I never stopped loving you..."
She watches them silently.
They were both quiet for a moment but eventually Draco mumbled quietly. "I never stopped loving you either." He mumbled quietly as he held Harry tighter. Harry chuckled and held him tighter as well. "... can I say something stupid?" They were both quiet for a moment but Harry chuckled again before speaking. "... I just remembered how much I used to dream about having you in my arms again like this." He mumbled quietly, Draco chuckled at his comment and rolled his eyes, but he didn't pull back. "You're still as lame as always..." He mumbled quietly, but there was a hint of fondness in his voice.
A fond smile appears on her face as she starts reading
They were both quiet for a moment, but eventually Draco spoke again, his voice was quiet but fond. "... I used to dream about this too you know... " He mumbled quietly as he held Harry tighter. Harry laughed at his words, he clearly didn't expect that. "Really...?" He mumbled. "I never pegged you as the sentimental type."
She softly laughs at there loving banter
They were both quiet for a moment before Draco jokingly rolled his eyes and mumbled. "Yeah well, keep it quiet... I've got a reputation to maintain." He mumbled jokingly, but there was a light fond tone in his voice. Harry chuckled and smiled, he rolled his eyes and teased. "Yeah yeah keep telling yourself that..."
After some time they finally let go.
They were both quiet for a little while longer, they had both managed to calm down and stop crying. But neither of them let go, they held each other in a tight hug for a while... But eventually they both mumbled quietly and let go. They both were quiet as they looked at each other, their faces were red, their hair was messy and some tears were still streaming down their faces. But they both looked each other in the eyes and the previous tension and fear was now completely gone.
She walks over and hugs both of them
They were both a little stunned as you hugged both of them, but they both hugged you back, though Harry was a bit more awkward than Draco about it. They were both quiet as they hugged you back, their tears had finally stopped and they both had just let go of the tension that they had been holding onto for years.
She pulls back "Can you guys learn to talk now?
They both tensed at your statement but they both knew you were right. They both looked at eachother, then looked down at the ground. "... Easier said than done..." Harry mumbled quietly. "... I don't know if I'll be able to." Draco mumbled quietly, his voice was sad again and he sounded on the verge of more tears.
"Look at eachother and think about what you just did what you just accomplished"
They were both quiet for a moment but at your insistence they both slowly looked back at each other, their eyes locking. They were both tense and quiet for a moment but after a minute they both thought about what they just did... What they just accomplished... The tension was gone... The fear and hate they had towards each other was gone. They were finally back together again, actually back together... Neither of them spoke, their eyes were just locked on each other's.
"As long as you remembered to take a breath and talk you'll be ok and if you need a minute to breathe say that to the other instead of storming off ir just take a minute and hug before you talk about it think about good things because the bad things are just small obstacles"
They were both quiet as they listened to you... Everything you said was right... The problem had been that they just never took a breath and talked they just went straight to arguing.... But you were right that if they had just taken a minute they could have talked. And you were right that the bad things are just small obstacles... They just had to think about those good things... Think about their love and their happy moments. They both nodded at your words, they knew you were right...
"Now imma leave you alone I'll be in another room and if I hear a voice raise I'm smacking both of you. Talk and figure things out and what you wanna do"
They were both stunned but they both nodded as they acknowledged your statement and instructions. "... yes ma'am." Harry mumbled, Draco just nodded and mumbled a quiet 'yes'. They both were a little nervous about you leaving them alone but they both knew that this was something they needed to work out by themselves...
"You'll be ok I know you will but for the love of all things good put your damn pride to the side"
They both were stunned again but it was clear you were serious and they both had to admit you were right. They both silently agreed that their pride had been a major problem in their relationship but they both had to put it to the side... They both nodded again, this time more sincerely. "Yes ma'am." They mumbled in unison.
*she giggled at them* ok now sit next to eachother and talk and hold hands it'll keep you calm and cry if your have to your each other's safe person *leaves*
