Raising Cami

“Mom, dad, I want you to meet your granddaughter.” Lunella said as she handed the child over to Adria and James.

“What's her name?” Adria asked. She looked at her with love in her eyes.

“Camila Miriam Lafayette-Calderon” Lunella stated. James and Adria softly gasped. “She's beautiful,” James said. She had his eyes and his nose. The way she babbled melted his heart.

“Aww,” Adria cooed, kissing Cami’s cheek. The little girl raised her hands in delight. Adria and James could not be more grateful than they were right now.
