Chapter 13
Sawada Tsunami was the least likely person to be involved in anything shady, and everyone knew it. She was half foreign, sure, but that just enhanced her looks and made her curvy. Her dad was some business man that worked overseas, not all that uncommon. Sawada Tsunami was a perfectly normal girl and everyone knew it.
She wasn’t the top of the class but also not the bottom, and she wasn’t particularly athletic but then most girls weren’t, her hair was a light brown or dirty blonde depending on who you asked but had the same flowy texture as her mothers, blue eyes that must’ve come from her father.
She was a bit clumsy, but it just made everyone awe at her like she was a cute kitten when she almost fell down the stairs and had to be caught again. She’d never gotten seriously hurt, and everyone just assumed she was a bit of a ditz and left it at that.
She was decently attractive but never had a boyfriend, and she was in the Art and Gardening clubs. She wasn’t hated but wasn’t an idol either, even if she was weirdly unforgettable. Most people reasoned this away and blamed it on the fact she was half foreign, how attractive she was, or her clumsiness.
She was also the most innocent person anybody knew. She didn’t get sex jokes, her ‘style’ when she was outside of school was made up of pretty skirts and pastel jackets and such. It was stylish, sure, but it was all very innocent, pastel colors and skirt lengths apparently not even a thought inside her head.
Even if some of her friends were a bit odd. Sure, Gokudera was a bit rough around the edges, but he was foreign too so it’s no surprise they migrated towards each other. She seemed cheerfully oblivious to his more violent tendencies anyways. And Yamamoto was a bit obsessed with baseball, but it was no surprise the guy that was always smiling made friends with the girl who was always smiling.
Sasagawa, Kyoko that is, not her brother, and Kurokawa are normal, for all Kurokawa has a fondness for calling men ‘monkeys’ and Sasagawa is kind of a people pleaser.
Sure, her siblings are all a bit odd, but then they’re all adopted and were allowed to choose their own names, as they’re all foreign and couldn’t go by their european names, and they were all quite young. The result of this was a little girl called I-pin, some sort of play on words in chinese, a little boy called Lambo, like the car, and a slightly less little boy called Fuuta, which wasn’t too outrageous for all that it was a completely made up name.
Sawada’s mother was a bit of an aloof, bleeding heart, and couldn’t stand to see foreign orphans in Japan not adopted and so opened her own house to them, even with her husband overseas.
But Sawada Tsunami was a completely normal girl.
