CHAPTER 1
PERCY POV
After saving the world twice by facing down his grandfather who was stronger then gods and then facing down his great grandmother that is the literally mother earth and also facing down monsters for years and going to Tartarus and surviving it when even the gods didn't go near that place ( and for good reason ). And only after that you JUST found out that your friend who sacrificed himself for the greater good of the world died and came back to life and SOMEHOW found an island which no man can visit twice. should expect to live on your life with your amazing girlfriend at New Rome in college with the occasion of visiting friends in camp half-blood. That should be enough for a life time right?
The fates must have had a grand old laugh at that one cause when ever a demigod says that line or HOPES for a relaxing future at long last after series shit happens BAM something always tense to happens. And if you need any proof of that rule then lets look into the past.
1.After the second titan war everyone including himself thought at least we now can relax then BAM another world ending prophecy came up and he got his memories wiped by his second to least favorite goddess
2.When Hercules did all of his labors he thought well now I can have some time to myself then BAM his second wife kills him ( Even though he was a jerk he went through a lot )
3. Reyna and her sister relaxed at there new job after clearly just been threw some nasty shit cause what demigods with an alive parent or nice parent ever work for someone that turn guys into guinea pigs then BAM he and Annabeth destroyed there spa and apparently let out some nasty Pirates and so they had to survive on there own by beating there asses. ( Which he wasn't really surprised that Reyna and her amazon sister could kick there asses. )
4. When he was 12 and returned the lightning bolt which by doing so stopped the gods from going to war with each other, got his mom back, his stepped dad now turned to stone, his mom finally happy, and got a new home with awesome friends he thought it was all over cause that quest was enough to traumatize any body for 1 life time but then BAM turns out one of his new friends tries to kill you twice! Then after this life threatening situation you find out you are the key to success to either destroy Olympus or save it and therefore save the world or destroy it.
5. And if you need any reminding you can just look at ANY GREEK STORY cause they all thought I can finally relax after everything they've been through anything then BAM more things to do and lots and lots of death
So lessons of the story kids is that don't say or hope
that after what you've been threw that it should be enough for a life time
because that's how all bad things start
Now the fates must have loved how everyone was witnessing everything going wrong and not how things were supposed run during when monsters were not dying cause not even a few months later weird things have been happening lately and no one could understand why.
Like for example no one knew why the hell nature was dying, people have been dying of sudden death for no reason what so ever ( like they would just drop to the ground and all that would be left behind of there body was a orb that was either blue or red and would fly away [ weird ] ), the sky looked... cracked almost , and strange monsters have been turning up lately too who no one knew what they were.
Like there was these glowing blue/white animals and it could be any animal like a doe,weasel,rabbit,cat,bear,owl, and any mortal animal ever, Then there were millions of owls going around everywhere, then there were these big black eyed small blue creatures that could fly and cause so much problems and were super fast that no one could catch them., A 12 foot black/white striped monster scorpion mutant thing that also looked like coal creatures that when approached it would spark flames and strike with its tail and the people would scream in pain then die, and some unicorns, centaurs, and hippogriffs would act... strange
and they also looked different too like the hippogriffs were more grey and white then brown or white , centaurs looked more muscular ,grey, and even more tall, and the unicorns had blue veins popping out grey hair and for some reason Hazel couldn't control them cause as she said " I don't understand why.. but there there horns don't have any silver and gold in them." In which he replied "they cold be a different breed like with the centaurs we saw during the war with horns." Though even though he said that he knew it was not true because all of these new monsters felt... different liked they didn't belong here he got a different vibe from all those new monsters then all the others so maybe they were different breeds? But that answer didn't feel right
And when the camp would observe them they looked like they were always looking for something but never able to find it... and who ever came up to them demigods, faun,nymphs, our own unicorns, and even Terminus ( aka a god ) could walk up to them they would turn hostile and fight. ( Which made him even more OCD and more on people following the rules then ever because he couldn't kill them in time before they ran away. Which he didn't know how that was possible cause he has seen Terminus on his worst days and gotta tell you those days looked TAMED then what Terminus was doing now.)
Everyone did try to find answers of course but to no avail. Annabeth and Reyna researched all roman and greek tails to see if anything looked like these monsters but to no luck, then when asked Hazel she said she hasn't seen anything like these monsters when she was dead and Nico who explored the underworld for the doors of death didn't see anything of this and of course when asked by Reyna were there any monsters in Tartarus like these him, Annnabeth, and Nico said no. Frank said the monsters weren't from Canada and China nor there were any legends about them, Leo and Calipso never saw any of these monster at her island.,And Annabeth made more of an effort by describing the monster they saw in daedalus laptop that was supposed to be helpful but of course there was nothing.
And when contacting Camp half-Blood and describing the new monsters and the weird things that have been happening asking for answers Grover and the Sayter concule didn't know any of these creatures either nor why anything else was happening either and they thought that we would know cause the strange monsters and things we were describing were appearing at camp half-blood too.
And turns out that Chiron ( who was a very tough centaur to fight) was even attacked by one of those strange centaurs and got so injured that he got into a COMA, pound nymphs have been reporting big eyed fish creatures with long bodies and tridents swimming around and when they would tell them to leave they would refuse to would muttering ' he's not here' ( who ever the fuck ' he ' was ' he ' sounded very important to them.) And for some reasons a few days ago it was cold to where things would freeze up and people would faint and after they woke up they said that they would live there worst memories but then it just stopped one day. And apparently now there was also a mysterious black smoke that now was making it harder to breath there so now almost everyone would stay inside less they pass out from being in the smoke for to long. And it seemed that the black smoke was all over the place from over the oceasons, mortal cites,forests,and other places too.
And it was not just happening at both camps but in the mortal world to like black smoke, people dying, and nature too, sky looking cracked of course the mortals tried to explain these things like pollution making nature die, a mysteiouse disese that kills people, and the mist thankfully kept hidden the smoke ( which now looked like regular smoke ) mortals said it was from weather that there was lot of fog, along with the suddenly cold tempertures cracked sky and the strange animals that were appering . But then the weather of there was ice forming in calaforna,people losing there minds, and fainting yeah the mortals didn't know what the heck that was about.
There were some suggestions from other people that attempted to explain why and how these monsters were turning up and there were some pretty solid theories like. That a monster and a god had a baby, taurteruse made monsters for revenge, or simply the gods made them for what ever reason likley cause they were bored or wanted o mess with us. Which would have been good reasons to why things were happening but then there was a slight problem that ticked him and everyone else off. The gods of olyimpus shut themselves down and they talked to no one.
To confirm there theories of where and why these new monsters showed up he and the others Annabeth, Nico, Piper, Frank, Jason, and Leo all praid to there godly parents put with no luck and also Mr D left the camp which put Camp half-blood into even more of a painike so Jason was put in charge of the camp while Mr D was absent and Chiron was injured so it was only a matter of time before they got an Iris message from Butch he said that Hazel,Frank, Annabeth, and himself were to immeditly go to the location near camp half-blood ( cause apperently they black smoke gotton really bad that they had to VK the area.) because Rachel made another prophecy or what Chiron precived the new prophecy as a prophecy that was MORE deadly then a great prophecy.... ( change this line when needed )
NICO POV
When the war was over he stuck around camp half-blood for 3 reasons reason number one the camp ( even though he didn't spend a lot of time here. ) Felt like home to him, reason number two is that he was done traveling all over the world for a while now, and three for some reason he didn't want to leave Solice as stupid as that sounds he didn't want to leave just after Solice confirmed he wanted Nico around after the war. ( Which he didn't know why he would want to)
After the second war of Kronous and helping during the war when he decided to stay at the camp everyone was rally friendly to him they would invite him to there tables for dinner, thank him for helping with the war and try to talk to him and make conversations,try to be friends, and smile at him. And it felt nice to not be feared by everyone it felt like he finally got some peace, a home after all this time.
But that quickly changed after 1 week of being there all of a sodden they wouldn't want him to sit at there tables, no one talked to him, and when ever he popped up they made faces saying ' why are you still here' and stuff,instead of smiles he got feared faces. So he left and roamed everywhere trying to find a home with no prevail he didn't fit in anywhere he was back at square one then you find out there's another camp of demigods who execpted him more then camp half-blood did and also he got a new sister Hazel. So he was pretty ok in his situation.
Then Percy of course had to ruin it ( even though it wasn't his fault it was Hera ) and because he was at this point still in love with Percy ( and for the greater good )went and helped in his quest and that was a disaster first when he searched for the doors of death he fell into tarturas then got out of there alive ( he doesn't know how though )then gets captured and put in a bronze jar for days without real food or much oxygen. Then he had to go on a quest and almost died becuase he got turned to corn. ( Which would have been a ridiculas death ) then almost turned into shadows while shadow traveling. So yet again he was back to almost dying everyday and no home
But then for some reason the 3 fates turned his life upside down. First he made at least some new friends like Jason,Reyna, Coach Heuge, and Will. After the war was done he stayed at camp half-blood and instead of a 1 week tolerance it was a forever tolerance. He was smiled at, talked to, sat at Jason, Will, Leo, and Piper would sit at his table. Will, Jason, piper, and Leo would hang out together. Hazel, Frank, Reyna, Percy, and Annabeth would visit the camp and hanged out, couch heuge would let him take care of the baby with Will.
Will would share songs he made, listen to Nico's stories, fuss about his health ( which annoyed him to death ), Will even got into Mythomagic cards and figures, and they would even drive around with his zombie butler. He liked that he had friends, he liked the feeling of finally having a home but what even he lied more then all of this was Will. Just the thought of him made him feel at home...
So of course fate had to ruin that with something going wrong. First nature started to die, then the sky looked... wrong like cracked almost and he didn't know how that was possibel., new monsters started to appere like strange glowing blue creatures that took any mortal animal form, musculer centures that were grey and tall, then the pound nymhs reported big eyed fish creatures with long bodies and tridents swimming around and when they would tell them to leave they would refuse to till they would muttering ' he's not here',

When the head of houses came together to see what the fuck was going on no one had any idea about what does monsters were, why nature was dying, why the sky looked off, or the cold and the smoke during the meeting they Iris messsaged Percy and explained everything he said he didn't know either and said stuff was happening here to like people would drop to the ground and die, and there were wrug unicorns and centures. So since Chiron was a well experinced fighter and a centure we all figured that we could maybe get some answers on what as going on and why are you being hostal to us. So of course Chiron immedetly got knocked out into a coma for days.
So of course to ease the campers Mr D. left the camp... which made people want to get OUT of the camp even more then they did so they moved to a place next to the camp where the smoke wasn't so bad but toleritble. The land hat they choose was a flat land but with enough plants to grow food and a water stream to drink the Hephaestus cabin made shelter for people to sleep in and in the middle of the camp stood a building that held as the meeting room while also making weapons and traps for the Ares cabin to use for defence and offence all over the new camp if any new hostal monsters appered. The Demters cabin also helped with creating defence and offence by allining a lot of plants outside of the camp everywhere to defend and attack the camp and the new monsters.
At this point the camp had another meeting after Chiron woke up they held another meeting about what the next move should be . Though nothing was really progressing with the conversation.
" WE need to do something about these new monsters if you just let me the Ares,Demeter, and the Hephaestus cabin capture these monsters we can find answers about what's happening and what we can do about it! " Clarisse shouted in her finest armer and weapon that she wore during the battle of manhatten which hid her clond short hair and scare pretty well exectp it didn't hide her dark eyes. " There is no way that's gonna work! No one can stay in that smoke for that long to do that plus you would need to abserve the new monsters to know what traps to put it's way to dangourse. The only way that would work is that the Hephaestus cabin can make a mask that is strong enough to withstand the black smoke ." Piper argued back but Clarris didn't like that " We need to do something if not we are sitting ducks waiting for the black smoke to get stronger we need answers and fast."
Everyone had a good point he thought. In the matter it was only a matter of time before the black smoke was unberable to stay so we had to act fast but then again if we don't have anything to withstand the black smoke it would be to dangoures to go to the camp.
"Piper is right Clarisse" Jason " We can't do anything until the black smoke clears up or the Hephaestus cabin can make something that can help withstand the black smoke" Jason turned his head to Leo who just got back from his cabin that has been non stop in creating this invention and just by looking at him you could tell that there hasn't been progress into making it. He wore his usal white shirt, his red straps,gogals,and brown pants even though they were really always covered in whatever guck he had on him which Calipso didn't like very much. You couldn't really tell that his shirt was white or that he has srtipes or pants as they wer all covered in black guck more then his usal amount.
"Leo is there any progresstion with the intervention?" Jason asked It took a few seconds before Leo responed with an answer likely because Leo underneth the table had papper ball on the floor while he scribled on a new sheet of paper looking at it intensly covering his face completly. When the room ot silent Leo finally popped his head right up ishowing the bags on his eyes, the sweat from probaly the maschins, and smered lft over guck on his face. " Oh well that might..take a while see.. we tried to capture the smoke to futher study it but well...it's not going really well and with what little information we have on it we are having some..ah trouble to know what materials can be used to make it. But if we just got to study it a bit we can possibly get more information."
" Out of the question-" Piper started " I think Leo has a good idea but and yes Piper it is dangourse but I believe that some of my cabin mates should also be there with some ambrosia and we can easlily heal them if something happens but the only way we can make progress is if we do something dangourse we can't just be like sitting ducks we have to take the risk right?" Will interupted
It wasn't the best idea but it was the best they got " That is a wounderful plan Solace" Chiron chimed in " All in favor for this plan?" Everyone even though not all were saticfied with the solution raised there hand including his. Everyone put there clothes over there mouth and nose to not breathe in the black smoke he perfered to shaow travele. (even though Will didn't like it) But when he was pulling threw the shadows he felt a sort of gap to where a shadow was supposed to be but it wasn't he felt like something was being pulled through...
In a flash a loud CRACK! Which made himself blow away like a leaf he heard 3 thuds that hit the floor and a woshing sound he opened his eyes for only a moment seeing a large hole in the air looking completly black before he blinked and heared a zap sound and when he opened his eyes it was gone. For half a secon he stared trying to search for the thing again befoe snapping back into reality when he heard "AHHH!" From someone he immeditly got back up drew his sword ready to fight and defend who ever got hurt during the crack.
But all he saw was Clarrise holding on to a snowy white owl and her spear pointing at 3 people inwrapped in the vines that Miranda Gardiner the head of Demeters cabin created. They struggeled to get out of the vines Jason got out his coin which when he flipped turned into his Gladius sword while he held his Stygian a 3 foot long black sword as he walked to the front of the room with Jason and he could hear others behind following behind. As soon as he walked over to the front he felt a wave of very powerful auras from the 3 but they had a different feel of there auras it didn't feel like a monster,god,half-blood, or mortal auras no the auras felt like it didn't belong here.
He pointed his sword at a more familer aura which was the one on the male on the right side who had red blood eyes that looked crazy, a cracked face, white long hair, and a really tired look on his face, while also having a argressive looking face on. Even though they all radeated almost the same feel of energy each one of them has there own uniqe energy not quite the same as the others but almost the same like the man had 4 feels of his aura first being thick red on the outer lyer, then beneth it was a thick grey lyer, then there was a thine black lyer that almost felt as sufacading as the black smoke,then another thin layer that felt similar to Hazels aura. Even though the guy with the white hair had a different energy then monster, gods, mortals, and half-bloods he knew the man was like Hazel he knew that this man used to be dead but was now alive.
Jason pointed his sword at the one in the middle which radeated power of thick red, colorful thick aurar beneth it then a thin lyer of the same sufacation feel as the black smoke did too. With this guy he could see had bags under his ice silver eyes, short pale blond hair, and a pale pointed face. Which reminded him of Octavian.While on the right was another male who radeated with the same thick red and a green laye too but nothing else. The guy had short green mop of hair hair,bags under his green eyes that were darting to both of the other t2 guys and evrone else., scares, freakles, and a round light skin face. He had an alert face like the middle one.
" Who are you" Jason asked The man looked around assesing the people in the room before he spoke in a anoyed voice " We are here to speak to the centure called Chiron it'd ergent." All heads turned to Chiron " Chiron do you know this guy?" The head of Victoria's cabin Yui Dim questioned Chiron took a long stare at him and asked " No I do not but i am curiouse young man you reminad me of someone I know what is it you need me for exackly?"
The guy passed for a moment as if figuring out what words to use. " It's about Pervell he-" The rooms temperture dropped a certun amount of degress, the black smoke seemed to responed to the name alone and became more thick and heavy. Chiron widened his eyes a bit and so did he the name rang a bell somewhere in his mind but he couldn't remember. " I see Miss Gardiner, Clarrise please let them all go" Chiron instructed them. Clarrise let go immeditly of the snowy owl who flew and perched on the blond guys shoulder after the vines were off them the guy dusted his outfit off which he now saw that the blond hair guy wore a black long sleave shirt,black pants, a black choker with a blood red jewwl in the center of it, and a stange black line inside a circle inside a triangle on the back of his right hand. And on his other hand one finger was slightly raised up a bit.
The left side guy with the white hair was taller then the 2 others, he could see that on his hand was the same weird black line inside a black circle inside a black triangle thing on the back of his hand. But he could also see scares on his hand too, he also wore torn up black jeans and a torn up black hoodie as the sleeves were torn off revealing his very musculer body and even more scares.The man all most immeditly from being relised scracthed his neck constatly which probably led to the scares on his neck.
The other other guy on the right side he could see wearing a white shirt,blue hoodie, looks of scares to on the arms and neck,and blue jeans. He was just looking around alert at the blond,white hair guy and again everyone else. " How do you know that name young man are you...one of his people?" He looked straight into the blond guys eyes the blond guy looked back with flichning "We have a speacial connection to Pervell " the rooms temperture dropped again and the black smoke becme even more thick and heavy at this point people started to cough from it and shiver including the white hair guy and the green hair one the guy kept going anyway like nothing just happened "You see our dea-" " Is it just me or is Rachel glowing green?"
Clovis interupted everyone turned there heads to see Rachel's hair,body and the floor intangles in bright green fog Rachel's back was facing him it looked like she was writing something. Now body stopped her though he didn't know why he asked in a low voice just n case what ever is doing this is not starteled " Rachel?" At this she stopped writing she turned her body towards them her eyes leaked of this bright green oze her eyes went as wide as the could she spoke in a voice that didn't belong to hers but rather in a raspey ghostly voice that moaned for a release in between her words.
Resture the balence between 2 worlds,...Head towards the black smoke where her misery returns,... lies the univeres stitches, find it all before it fades, a choice to make that cannot be undone,... ( she then turned and pointed to Solace ) Apollo's son's song rekindals his flames.
She passed out luckely Will was able to catch her before she hit her head and Chiron moved towards the piece of paper eyes darting back and forth on the paper he broke the tenchtion by asking the 3 mystery men " What are your names?"
The white hair guy started off with annoyence and hate in his voice " And why should we tell you tha-" Then the blond guy interupted him " I am Draco Malfoy " He started to say he was staring dead at Chiron with those icy grey eyes which reminded him of Annabeth when she got determind he could always see her eyes get icy. He pointed at the tall white hair guy " This is Tomura Shigeraki " he then pointed to the green hair guy " This is Izuku Midoryia they are my campanons along with the snowy owl on my shoulder we are here on official biussness sent by our death to come here into your world to rescue Pervell"
Again the temperture dropped and meven now he shivered it was probably in the teens in tepuerture wise and then gain the black smoke thickened and heaved that now Chiron was coughing and the campers includig himself put there clothes over the nose and mouth not want to leave the conversation that was happening as it was to interesting. he said to first stop by and ask to talk to a centure named Chiron for something so just get on and say something useful or we leave."
The information was too much to process for him he thought that he had seen and heard all from gods,monsters,and half-bloods being real, too the things he in...tarturas but this this was on another level another world right net to them it explained so much of why the auras felt so different the 3 weren't half-bloods,gods,monsters, or mortal they were people from another world it also explained the new monsters and the black smoke it was from there world and not ours. But what was causing the cracks, the dead people, nature dying it had probubly had to do with Pervell guy maybe Pervell was a god and without him there world fell out of order without him to guide there other gods into chaos or something but then who were these guys what did they have to do with Pervell were they his servents, other gods, followers?
A million things ran threw his hea tryng to wrap his mind around this information and so were the others t there was complete silence for at least a few minutes before Malfoy broke the silence in a voice that sounded like patence but he could hear a hint of lake of said patence " So do have anything useful to say or not?" Chiron looked at the paper that Rachel wroteon then back to Malfoy He whispered something in Butch's ear which he immeditly left the meeting room " Oh yes well in order for Mr P to be rescued you need to take some people with you on your quest."
Midoryia " And sir why would we need more people we already have Hedwig " before Chiron opened his mouth to respond but Malfoy was quicker " that'sbecuase one we are in a world we don't understand, two the more people we got is the more the chance to find him and set everything right, and third it's because there seer just said so and you don't want to avoid prophecies trust me on that at least."
He's right
" All right " Chiron's voice exclaimed " The following people that will acomping Draco Malfoy, Izuku Midoriya, and Toumra Shigeraki to go on this rescue quest is Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Piper Mclean, Jason Grace, Leo Valdez, Nico di Angelo, Frank Zhang, Hazel Leque, and Will Solace!"
