Such thoughts filled the mind of Era. Ever since she first met her, she's been in love. She wanted that girl all for herself. She technically could. She's the magical girl of love after all. She can make anyone fall in love with whoever. But even if she could make that girl fall in love with her, it's not really true love if it's coming from her powers now is it? If Era was gonna have love it was gonna be the best kind of love, real, true love. But she was impatient, and her crush was oblivious. Her crush was a beautiful princess, everyone loved her. Of course she wouldn't take Era's advances as true love and adoration. Just another fan. That's all the princess thought. Little did she know, Era's love for her was far more than just being a fan. She adored her. Her soft voice, her lovely hair, her gorgeous outfit, her perfect face. Era adored every inch of her. And she wanted her. She wanted her so bad, so much. The feeling in her chest never going away and getting stronger the longer she waits, the more she merely watches, yearning to be with her but never getting the chance. "Such a perfect lady. Ahhh if only she were mine." she says. Her parents turn to her "Did you say something dear?" her mother asks. Era quickly snaps back to reality "Nothing nothing!!" she says quickly. Her parents give her a weird look before going back to their current tasks. Era sighs, luckily they stopped there. If they found out she was in love with a girl, if they found out she was lesbian, she would die. No way would they ever support that. She gets up, remembering she had school. "God I'm gonna be late again. Why does my time management suck ass" she mutters to herself as she sprints to school. Thankfully she was very fast and the school was close by. Once she got to school she immediately went to her class. "Sorry I'm la-" She pauses. At the back of the class, right in front of her seat was the princess. Her face goes red. "She was gorgeous when she was focused. Her eyes, her beautiful eyes" she thought to herself. She goes to her seat without another word "I'm sitting behind her oh gosh oh gosh" she thinks to herself, her heart beating fast. Throughout the day she was like this and she spent so long just staring at her beautiful hair, it was already lunch. "Huh. It feels like it's only been five minutes." she thinks to herself. "Wait.. This could be my chance to have lunch with her and learn more about her! Wow you're so smart Era!" She thinks to herself. She goes to the princess but as expected, everyone crowds around her, trying to have lunch with her as well. The princess is clearly overwhelmed. Era couldn't just watch them bombard her like that so she gets up and pushes them all away. "You idiots she's clearly overwhelmed can't you see that?!" She shouts. Some of the classmates feel guilty and apologize, but of course, there are some idiots in the bunch. "Who cares? She's a princess, princesses don't get overwhelmed" one of the classmates say. For some reason, that single comment was more than enough to piss her off. She growls, trying to control her anger in front of the princess. She couldn't ruin her image of her, not right now, but this one guy kept being so annoying. "Awwwhh is the little baby mad?" the classmate teases. Before she knew what she was doing, she blinks and suddenly the classmate is on the floor, injured and begging for mercy. What? She didn't even realize what she was doing.... How? What? What has she done?.. and in front of the princess no less.... but when she turns around to look at her, she just seems, fascinated. Such a look on her face was more than enough to have Era blushing again. `"You. Let us have lunch together" the princess says softly. That voice oh that sweet, soft voice. Era nods, her face completely red and her hands shaking. And as they had lunch, this feeling in her chest got stronger and strong. Being in such a close proximity to her....their thighs were practically touching. And the way she ate was perfect too. Such elegance and beauty. She was quickly snapped out of her thoughts thought when the princess tapped her. "You. Name?" she asks softly. "Era!" She answers without hesitation. The princess smiles softly, making her face go completely red again. "I am Mori" The princess says. Well she wasn't expecting the princess to have that name. Either way, it was gorgeous. "Well, Mori, I hope we can be the bestest of friends!" Era says. While that sentence did kinda just slip out, it made Mori happy, she could see it in her eyes. No way was she gonna take that back. After school she decides to make a move. "Hey Mori, wanna come over and do our homework together?" Era asks. Mori looks at her "That'd be nice but, Mama and dad won't allow that" she say. Era nods "I see.. then how about I go to your house instead! Your parents might be really protective and won't let you go to my house, but I can go basically wherever since my parents know I'm capable of defending myself! Besides, your parents will feel more at ease knowing you're home and can jump me if I do anything wrong!" she says. Mori smiles. "That'd be wonderful!" She says as she takes ahold of her hand. "Come on lets go!" She says, dragging Era along with her. Soon enough they arrive at her place. "Jeez boomshakalaka your house is huuuuuge!" Era says. Mori giggles but quickly covers her mouth, hoping she didn't hear that. Thankfully it seems like she didn't. But of course it did catch the attention of her parents, who immediately rushed into the room. "Our precious baby welcome home!" the mother says. The father meaning while glares at Era "And who is she?" Mori smiles "New friend!" She says. Her parents gasp. Their daughter never smiles. She's never had friends. She's never mentioned having a friend with such excitement. They turn to each other, knowing that this could be the start of something amazing if they plan things right. They've been trying to get their daughter to have a boyfriend, but everyone she had tried dating left her. So they eventually got so desperate they allowed her to date anyone of any gender. And this girl, she seemed far worse than their daughter so if they could get them together there was no way she'd leave her. The parents chuckle "Well well well. Make yourself at home kiddo!" The father says. The mother smiles "We'll have some snacks prepared for you two!" She says. Era and Mori smile. Mori quickly drags Era along to her room. "Wow your rooms huge too!!" She says. Mori tilts her head "Do you not have a big room?" she asks "Nope! I sleep in the bathroom usually since most of the rooms are for storage so the bathroom just kinda became my room" She says. Mori frowns "That doesn't really sound normal at all" She says "Needn't worry my parents aren't bad people! They don't force me to live like this!" She says. Mori sighs "I feel like she's lying..." She thinks to herself...... Soon enough the parents come with the snack and Era looks ready to eat. She starts jumping up and down, eating the food the moment she can "Yummyyyyy!" She says. Mori smiles. Seems Mori was growing quite fond of this girl..
As the days went by, their feelings for each other got stronger. And of course Mori's parents made sure they were always close.
One day they were on a bench together, Mori leaning on Era. Suddenly a portal opens and a claw comes out of it. Era quickly gets up and goes to shield Mori. "Hands off her you fool!" It hadn't even touched Mori yet but she was still so protective. Stop it before it starts. She wouldn't allow the love of her life to get hurt, not a single time. And this emotion. This feeling, wanting to protect the one you love so dearly.... So pure and precious this feeling is.... The god will surely grant her wish. Suddenly a white gem falls from the sky, hitting Era straight in the head, a white bunny like creature soon following. "Waah ow!!" she rubs her head. She then takes notice of the bunny holding the gem. The bunny hands it to her "A faceless bunny handing me a gem. Well this is new.... Wait I can't afford to get distracted! I must protect her!" She goes to shield Mori again but the bunny bonks her. "Use the gem idiot!" the bunny says. Era understood what is said, but to Mori, it sounded like complete gibberish. "Use the...gem??" She was very rightfully confused but suddenly the bunny shoves the gem in her chest and she transforms. "W-what?!" She was now very rightfully shocked "Needn't be shocked. You are a magical girl now! Your want to protect that girl was so strong it reached the gods!" The bunny says. She was now confused again. Even more confused than before. "Magical girl?" She tilts her head "Yes! There are many different kinds of magical girls and boys. There's the fairy team which consist mostly of fairies and some other species. They're the most unhinged honestly best stay out of their way.There's the regular magical girls without theme and so on"
