Chapter 6
McGonagall explained that they moved their house from the forest inside Hogwarts. After they all got settled in it turned to nighttime and they all went to sleep. Draco woke up screaming and when Harry tried to help him, Draco pushed him away. Draco was having a panic attack and thought Harry was his father when he was torturing him. His mother came in and told harry to go away as he would recognize her more than him because she could rarely visit him when he was taken hostage. Draco started crying and Narcissa came and comforted him, still he wasn’t seeing things anymore. When he calmed down enough to see harry wasn’t Lucius, harry came in and gave Draco a hug. Harry saw Draco’s ears drooping with worry, harry started petting Draco, “Harry what are you doing…” as harry started petting him, he fell asleep from stress and worry. Harry saw he was twitching in his sleep and Narcissa came to sing him a song
“Hush little baby don’t say a word, mama’s going to buy you a mockingbird, and if that birdie doesn’t squeak, ill break that birdies neck, ill go buy a ring and if that ring doesn’t spark ill go back to the jeweler who bought it for you and get our money back. I’ll be here for you and if I’m not, it’s going to be alright. As long as I’m here, no one can hurt you, and if they try, ill break their neck for you” Draco stopped twitching in his sleep and harry looked a little scared because of the scary lyric in the song, Narcissa sang that song before she quit from being a death eater, Draco did as well. They all went to sleep again, and it was sunrise, Draco was the last one to wake up he went to their living room as they had a free holiday for all the dangerous things that happened to them all. “Hey sleepy head” Luna teased, Harry was face flat on the couch and his mother, Ginny, Pansy, and Blaise were helping make breakfast. “Blaise! Your gonna burn the pancakes!” Pansy exclaimed, “Chill, I won’t i- OH MY GAWD” he didn’t finish what he was about to say as a pancake got on fire, Draco looked at them not wanting to deal with that, he walked over to harry, “Wake up potter” he said sitting next to him on the couch, Harry woke up “Meanie” he mumbled, Draco looked down remembering what happened last night
“Did I hurt you?” he asked Harry silently, “no, you didn’t, and if you did, I wouldn’t mind because you didn’t really have any control then. It would also be natural” he mentioned. Draco felt reassured and then looked over his shoulder to see if the pancake was still on fire, his mother put it out meanwhile Pansy was scolding Blaise and levitated him in the air. “Put me down! I’m sorry alright!!” Blaise screamed, Draco and Harry just laughed, and Blaise started yelling at them. Pansy out Blaise down and Blaise ran up to Draco and Harry to tackle them to the floor. Draco saw Blaise coming and backed out of the way so only Harry would get tackled. Draco ran to the kitchen to hide. “Hey Dray!” Pansy said. Draco nodded to acknowledge her because he was hiding. “Breakfast is ready!” Narcissa announced, Draco came out of his hiding spot while Blaise tried to cook another pancake, Harry, Pansy, Luna, Ron, Draco, and Hermione took a seat and fought over which pancakes they got. Draco used the excuse that he was kidnapped so he deserved what pancake to pick first while Blaise and Hermione’s excuse was that they infiltrated the Malfoy Manner to help Draco.
Narcissa didn’t want them to bicker because she wanted to eat as well so she just gave them pancakes at random. After they ate, they decided to play UNO. They each got 7 cards Draco had a Wild card while Pansy had a skip card, Blaise groaned as he had a reverse while Harry, Hermione, and Ron practiced some spells to make sure they didn’t lose any skills. Yet again Mione had to correct Ron on how to say Leviosa, “It’S lEvIoSa, nOt LeViOuSaW” she said again Ron said “I’m getting flashbacks” under his breath. During Harry, Draco’s, Pansy, and Blaise’s game Harry they went in who was older to younger. Blaise had a switch the color card after drawing for 5 turns Harry put his blue card down as he joined after practicing, it was a skip so Pansy threw a pillow at him for revenge. Draco’s card would affect Blaise, so he decided to put a 4+ card. “Bro! why’d you do that” he cried, “No reason” Draco smiled evilly. As the day went on when it was court time for the students, they asked McGonagall if they could visit them as that wasn’t really allowed, reluctantly she said yes as they probably needed it. They went to their dorm, told them what she said and hung out. “Where’s Draco?” they asked, “Oh, Blaise and Pansy was trying to force pet him and I was blackmailing him, so he is hiding somewhere in a small wolf form” the students looked blankly at him for a second and just accepted it. After hours of looking for him, they saw he had accidentally fallen asleep hiding under his bed sheets and closed the door silently letting him sleep in peace.
