Chapter 6
Ever since Draco had met Harry in diagon ally they had been sending letters to one another. Draco enjoyed telling Harry about his favourite sports, books , magic and so on and every now and again Harry would talk about some of the interesting muggle stories he had or things that had invented, in all honesty Draco enjoyed talking about muggle things but he would never admit it to anyone especially his father who to this day remained on of you know who’s biggest followers even though he multiple connections to the light side.
Draco loved to talk to his mother about his new friend when she wasn’t busy hosted or helping father with one thing or another. Draco could tell she enjoyed it as well as she could, considering her position and all. Draco tied to occupy himself playing Quidditch or hanging out with the other pure bloods children his family had allied to.
“Draco are you sure this Harry person is made up?” Pansy said “ I mean I haven’t heard of him nor has Daphne and you know her family “
“I haven’t even heard of him” Blaine cut in “and I’m a Zabini for Merlin’s sake”
“He’s real, I’ve shown you his letters” Draco replied defensively and frankly annoyed that they had brought this up again,
“Yeah well, you could’ve easily written them yourself you know” pansy said
“Do you think my hand writing is that bad!?” Draco replied
“No but it’s easy to change you style” blaise said
“I’ll prove that he’s real, I mean he’s meeting up with me at the platform or on the train” Draco said proudly
“Yeah, yeah. We’ll see when pigs fly. Ain’t that right blaisey” pansy laughed, prodding blaise in the side.
Draco quickly changed the topic because he really didn’t want to be speaking about this anymore not since he first told pansy who told Daphne who used her father’s connection to find out who Harry was, of course Draco didn’t tell anyone Harry’s last name because of all the baggage that came with it and that wasn’t his place to announce that so he didn’t which drove Daphne, pansy and blaise up a wall but eventually the came to conclusion that Harry just simply didn’t exist and Draco must’ve made him up to trick them.so now they will being it up every now and again, usually when hedwing shows up delivering a letter from Harry.
“So are you guys excited for school to start tomorrow?” Pansy asked
“Can’t wait to inact my plans” blaise replied with a sinister smile
“How do you already have plans!? We haven’t even entered the school for Merlin’s sake blaise” Draco said
“I just have plans You know” blaise said nonchalantly
“Yeah right” pansy joked
“It’ll be entertaining to see what will happen especially with the rumours ” pansy spoke ” but agh I am dreading the pure blood meeting, like just because our parents have one why do we have to attend!?”
“Ha imagine” blaise joked
“Yeah, yeah lucky you, being one of scariest untouchable grey families to exist so you get to skip these hell of a meetings” pansy snarked
“I mean we only have to stay for the introduction then they don’t really care what we do” Draco said
“Yeah but they gonna start caring eventually, especially being the oldest or only heir to your house “pansy sighed
“Onc agian, image” blaise joked
“I’m going to kill him” pansy said
“I’ll help you hide the body” Draco said
“Hey no fair! No teaming up” blaise shot out defensively
“To late” pansy said, closing in on him
The rest of the evening blast, pansy and Draco sat and talked. After they left Draco and narcissus had dinner, mister malfoy was at the ministry as like every year when school started due to the to new people having to register to the ministry so they always got swamped with paperwork.
After dinner Draco sat in his room writing Harry his next letter, Draco watched as his owl flew around trying to escape hedwing. After he sent hedwing on her way his own owl sat on his shoulder watching as the bright white figure flew further and further away, after that Draco went to bed.
Draco woke in excitement, today he was going to prove to pansy and blaise he was right ,today he was going to finally see Harry again, he was going to Hogwarts.
He ate his breakfast presented by dobby with his mother and father, he collected his belongings and then malfoys ready to leave summons floo system and used it to get the platform. At the platform he was greeted by Daphne and pansy, all three in tow accompanied their parents to the meeting.
after five minutes of sitting there doing nothing while the grown ups had a meeting pansy, Daphne, nott, crabe and Goyle snuck off to the deserted part of the platform no one ever went, Draco was “elected” more like forced by pansy to retrieve blaise and bring him to the group.
As Draco made his way through the crowd, he kept an eye out for two people blaise and Harry. Eventually Draco found blaise poorly flirting on purpose with some other first year,
“Blaise can you not!?” Draco complained
“Yes I can “ blaise said “ but can chose to not to yes, yes I do”
“Agh gross” Draco said” atleast wait until we are actual at school to start making a victim list”
“Fine” blaise Whined.
After scolding blaise to stop a bit more he told blaise where to go since he needed to use the bathroom. After he went back to walking through the cowed he couldn’t shake the feeling the someone was following him, he had even walked a weird way trying to catch whoever but there was online at all.
“Draco! Finally “pansy yelled as he approached them” I thought you ditched us”
“Maybe he was trying to ditch us for his mystery Harry” blaise chimed in
“Who?” Nott asked
“Oh Draco said he made a friend in diagon ally a few weeks ago named Harry but Draco won’t tell us his last name and blaise nor Daphne could find him” pansy said
“Are you sure he exists?” Nott replied” or that was his real name?”
“He’s been writing to me since we met in diagon ally and he always signed his letters with Harry”Draco said
“That would be a lot of dedication especially when we’re just going to learn his actual name in the sorting ceremony later” blaise chimed in
“Yeah but- “pansy stopped talking “ hey Draco are you sure you weren’t followed?”
“Yeah of course I even went the longer way and walking in a couple circles before actually coming here. What did you take me as pansy a fool?” Draco said
“Well then who’s that”pansy said drawing the attention of the group,
she points past Draco at some boy wearing glasses and long black thick crazy wild hair. Draco then whipped around to see who pansy was talking about.
