“Like this?” Draco’s brows furrowed as he focused on threading one shoelace over the other. “Make a bunny ear…” he muttered to himself.

“I can’t believe you’re a full grown adult and you’ve never tied your own shoes before!” Hermione tried to hide her incredulity.

Draco huffed as one bunny ear got away from him. “Well that’s what charms are for. There, now I’ve done it once, can I go back to doing it with magic?”

Hermione eyed the loose, sloppy bow that would probably come out as soon as Draco walked more than five steps. “Fine. Now let’s go, we’re late.”
