[The Contract]

"Please...help us!"

"You are aware of the consequences, right?"

"Yes…I am.”

"Let it be as you requested."

"...Thank you..."

"Don't give your gratitude just yet, James..."

"I know." The man cut his wrist to let out some droplets of blood, watching as the fluid flow to form words.

On his face was a mad grin, and to the deity watching, it’s a familiar face.

It was an expression of ecstasy, especially fitting for the many times that the Marauders celebrated how successful their plans were.

It was also on his face when he had at last gotten married to the love of his life, one of the most blissful days he lived.

It was even now fitting for a man on the verge of death, hell-bent on protecting his most important people.

The same expression was able to convey many different kinds of intense emotions, from the good to the bad days.

And it was just one of the many expressions of James Potter, one of the persons he watched over the most in this world.

"For the safety of Harry James Potter, until adulthood; I, James Fleamont Potter, agree to sacrifice my magic…and let this world’s gates open for…an outsider."

It felt like the casting of a very complex spell—no—it’s a feeling of much more pressure than anything he has ever experienced. James can literally feel the magic in the air—along with some otherworldly power—in every word he spoke out. Without a doubt, that was probably the strongest energy he would come into contact with in his life.

Though, his life isn't going to last for much longer anyways...

"Contract finalized."

James finally let out the breath he was unknowingly holding, "And Lily...did she...?"

"She had done the same...you guys really do think alike."

"Haha, this is probably one of the few times we do…will it be enough though? It's only the two of us under the contract..."

"It will take some time, but you are both great wizards. even among the magic folks. Much unlike the usual mortals. Do not underestimate your own power."

James laughed weakly, "It feels like almost yesterday that I met you...well we never exactly met physically, but you get the point."

"You Marauders were interesting."

That resulted in another chuckle from the dying man. "Speaking of that...I hope the others will be fine...save for that traitor..." He gashed his teeth at the thought.

"He will get his retribution in time...you should go now...Prongs."

"Again...thank you. It's a shame that we can't stay long enough to see you come to this world...! I'm already having so much regrets now despite accepting my fate!" A scowl replaced the smile on his face.

"You're welcome...see you in dead land."

James was caught off guard and thinking how uncharacteristic that last remark was, but he didn’t have long before he was forced to futilely fight against the Dark Lord.

A light of emerald signal that the Potter breathed his last.

The ultimate last wish of a couple already fated to die...a pair that had known for some time about their upcoming doom. All due to the courtesy of their divine friend.

Surely they could've escaped their deaths, but that apparently wouldn't work according to the laws of fate...the deity told them about how everything until after their deaths is already set to happen...

Lily still kinda wish for more time together as a family, but they had to be separated from their son when he had just barely turned 1 year old. She worries for their child's future without them.

James still kinda wish he could punch Peter Pettigrew in the face once last time before they succumb to death, since whatever friendship they had before has been for naught anyway.

The feared Dark Lord of the Wizarding World, Voldemort, was pronounced dead on that Hallowe'en Night.

The Boy Who Lived lost both his parents that night, but survived due to his parents' love and sacrifice.

And the world—whether muggle or wizard, was oblivious of the higher being that had gain entry to their world at last, completely unaware of how their world will change with such an unexpected new variable thrown in.

The entity that manipulated the Time of this narrative descended as Aeon Caelius, a complete identity he fashioned for himself.

Set to be the same age as Harry Potter and will be part of the Lovegood household as the son of Pandora Lovegood's "sister", who would be sometimes entrusted to the Lovegood couple.

"Anesidora Caelius" is the fabricated guardian figure he'll stay with, and a new existence he added to this world. As a puppet with the identity of a legal adult wizard, she would be useful in helping him get around this world.

Luna Lovegood will have cousin that's much like an older brother figure, but he won't be present after their childhood years. He'll go back to staying with his "mother" permanently starting from the time of Pandora Lovegood's death until he go to Hogwarts.

Using the excuse that Xenophilius Lovegood will be better off only having one child to take care of rather than two after his wife's tragedy should be reasonable for his "mother" to not send him over.

Monitoring Harry Potter was easy, but influencing too much is not ideal—because where is the fun in not at least letting things take off for a bit first?

Albus Dumbledore, a funny old mortal with some risky plans, but still quite brilliant. Should he let it continue? Or should there be some interference?

Harry James Potter...

James said to not babysit him too much, Lily said to keep him safe and happy. Remus wished for the best, Sirius wished great things for the boy. Peter...well, what he said no longer matter.

The Dursleys shall have another visitor tonight. The child will not be just left right at the door.

Harry Potter won't be treated as a...source of labor—being practically abused—although the Dursleys' attitude towards him won't be changed.

A note about alerting the authorities (exposing them to their neighbors and everyone they know) for any possible abuse or mistreatment. It's a threat dangling over the Dursleys to limit their behavior, and also a show of the sender's understanding of the so-called non-magic "muggle" world...

It was unfortunate how it was necessary for the boy, but with this he will be happier, though maybe not by much.

Oh, and he'll put another puppet here. She shall be the bane of the Dursleys, keeping them in line...
