Tohru/Kagura
Tohru studied Kagura carefully. She swallowed nervously with each bite the boar took. “So,” Kagura mumbled between bites, “what’d you invite me out here for?” Her glare sent shivers down Tohru’s spine. “Is this. . .some kind of trick?” She raised her brow, studying the nervous Tohru.
”N-No,” her voice cracked. “I just-“ she blushed, her mind looking for the best words soothe Kagura’s suspicions. “All I want is for the two of us to get along.” Her heart began to pound, though her eyes were turned down she could still feel Kagura’s sharp eyes piercing her.
Kagura leaned forward, lifting up Tohru’s chin. Her piercing eyes looked deep into Tohru’s soul for any traces of dishonesty. “Fine,” she pulled back, half satisfied. “You said you wanted to get to know me, right? Anything specific?”
”Oh!” Flustered, Tohru fiddled with her fingers as her mind raced with questions. Out of her bag she pulled out a notepad and pen. “Um,” she cleared her throat, “Let’s start with - Favorite color, food, season, time, item of clothing, song, movie, musical group, subject in school. . .”
Kagura blinked in confusion as Tohru continued to list of all the random things she wanted to learn all within one breath. She couldn’t help but chuckle. Maybe Tohru was a tad odd to her, but there was a certain warmth about her that Kagura found strangely charming. She found herself thinking that this wasn’t such an awful idea after all.
