Chapter 2
Time is an interesting phenomenon. Sometimes it can drag on so slowly — even if you hang yourself, and sometimes it flies — you don't have time to look back.
Severus Snape was thinking about his eleven-year-old son, who had become friends with Potter, and what to do about it. Harry Potter suddenly appeared in his department, and it was Innocent's merit. It would seem that what could the boy-who-survived on Slytherin forget? But here he is... friends with Lucius' son and Innocent, and also communicates with the Gryffindors. Truly, the world has gone crazy. Potter! And in Slytherin! He is friends with the son of Severus himself!
Minerva still couldn't forgive him for "stealing two of her most promising students from under her nose." Severus gloated at first, but then… How hard it is to look after three children on a regular basis, who are always trying to get into trouble.
"Master, it's bad to drink so much sedative," Tiki muttered worriedly, hovering in the doorway.
The elf had served him faithfully for five years, taking care of Innocent, and now he was also taking care of two other wards. At least Potter wasn't stupid and really tried to study to keep up with his friends. It was good. The other thing that didn't please him was his craving for Quidditch. Draco had one too. Even Innocent was slightly in awe of this game, but at least he understood that it takes a lot of time, which can be spent more usefully.
When McGonagall saw Harry Potter on a broomstick, she almost burst into tears, and then noticed that the boy could already be made a team catcher. Severus immediately rejected such an offer. Firstly, this is not according to the rules, and secondly, an additional burden. The child has just come to the magical world, he needs to understand at least the basics, not to mention that this sport is quite dangerous. Severus Snape sincerely did not want to have more gray hair. If Lily had been alive, she would have told everyone to go to hell, if only because she knew the consequences of a failed game. In addition, Harry Potter has already attended additional potions classes with Innocent and Draco, so you should not overload the child even more.
"Dad, maybe you still won't come to your senses?" Innocent asked worriedly, unsuccessfully trying to take the bottle of soothing potion from his father's hands. «We just looked at it for a couple of seconds."
"Get out of my sight, monster… I'll come up with a punishment for all three of them tomorrow. "
"Da-a-a-ad," Innocent drawled plaintively, making cat's eyes. "We didn't even go into the room. As soon as I saw the dog's face, I immediately ran away! "
"You shouldn't have been on that floor at all! Go to bed quickly, you obnoxious pixie!"
Innocent sighed, hugged his father for the night and sadly trudged to his room, which he shared with Draco and Harry.
"Good night, Tiki." said Innocent, leaving his parents' quarters.
"Good dreams, young master."
Severus Snape sighed heavily and sprawled on the bed.
So, what did he have?
First of all, Dumbledore. The director finally decided on the hero from the prophecy, and Neville became it. Great. This child has a strong grandmother who will definitely look after him. Severus doesn't have to worry about him.
Secondly, Harry Potter… The boy surprisingly did not annoy him, although he looks like James, but his behavior can be called quite decent. At least he didn't act like a deer. It's good that his character clearly did not take after his father, if it were otherwise, he would not have stepped a step next to Innocent.
Speaking of Innocent... somehow a couple of weeks ago, his child found a room of requirement but what's even more amazing, he found a Ravenclaw tiara there! Severus almost had a heart attack then, because according to Dumbledore, the tiara turned out to be a horcrux, and Innocent touched it! But that's not all, because three days later they brought him another horcrux... a black notebook that smelled of dark magic! And who was it? That's right, Innocent is with Harry Potter!
In general, to summarize, Severus Snape could say that he had nothing but problems and three splinter in his ass at the faculty. Oh yeah... there is also a "golden trio" on Gryffindor, but there is not a "splinter", there is a whole stake that Minerva will deal with herself.
"Master!" Tiki squeaked when he saw Severus Snape gulp down a huge bottle of sedative and abruptly passed out.
***
Has Severus already said that he started turning gray because of his child's curiosity? Vincent Snape, his wonderful and brilliant boy, whom he sincerely loved with all his heart, had an amazing ability to get into trouble, often without even making any effort to do so!
And now, Severus was checking some Ravenclaw's homework, when the paired diary that connected him with his son suddenly vibrated, informing him of the urgency of the message. Severus immediately opened the fifth page to read the timid:
"Um... Dad... here's the thing..."
Obviously, something out of the ordinary has happened…
"Tiki!" Severus exclaimed excitedly.
"Tiki is here, master," the house elf appeared at the same moment.
"Where is my son?"
"The young master was doing his homework with friends in the library."
"Check the library now."
"It will be done. The elf snapped his fingers and disappeared."
"What. Have. You. Done?!" — the pen creaked on the parchment, drawing clear and elegant letters.
"Nothing! Almost..."
"The young master is not in the library!" Suddenly, a worried Tiki shouted.
"Innocent Snape!"
"I seem to have subdued Voldemort a little bit..."
Severus Snape swallowed loudly, raised his black eyes to the ceiling, remembered the composition of the hematopoietic potion, calming himself, but in the end he almost fainted anyway:
"Where are you?!"
"Harry and Draco and I are here in the room with the Philosopher's Stone. Professor Quirrell became obsessed, so I tried that new experimental potion that you and I brewed last time and, it seems, subdued the Dark Lord a little?"
Oh, Merlin…
"Innocent Snape!"
"We didn't do it on purpose, honestly! And take a sedative with you, Draco is hysterical! And then Neville and Ron faint..."
"Innocent Snape!!! You're going to homeschool!"
Severus Snape quickly ran into the damn room with the Philosopher's stone to catch Innocent and Harry playing cards, while "Professor Quirrell" obediently fanned the pale Draco with a handkerchief, who did not take his eyes off the possessed professor.
— Godfather!
Severus could have sworn that his godson had never been so glad to see him. Throwing a diagnostic spell at all the children, Severus exhaled with relief when he realized that no one was injured.
"Dad ..." Innocent, unlike Draco, did not feel joy at all, realizing that he would definitely not be patted on the head.
But on the other hand… Surely he couldn't leave Neville and Ron to their fate? It's just that if Hermione could be persuaded not to get involved in such a dubious adventure, these two were determined to get into trouble. Innocent honestly and frankly worried about them, and therefore decided to join. Harry was also curious about what the three-headed cerberus was guarding, so he didn't mind and joined the team of seekers of "I don't know what." Perhaps the only voice of reason was Draco, who begged not to go to strange places, but to leave it to the professors. Nevertheless, no one listened to him, so he just followed his friends and whined, arguing with Ron along the way.
And that's why they have what they have. Rather, they have Voldemort, who came under the influence of the equivalent of Imperius, who now obediently took care of Draco, then Neville and Ron.
In general, after learning all the details, Severus turned completely gray… And the other professors almost fainted. No one knew how to react to this, and when the wizards from the Department of Mysteries appeared, Severus Snape made the most reasonable decision at that time. He picked up his son with Potter in tow and teleported to another continent. At least that was the original idea. But something went wrong and they ended up in a strange place called Gusu Lan.
