James is very sad, he loves Regulus so much but he won’t even look at him! Plus he can’t talk to Sirius about it because he would be pissed if he found out james is in love with regulus. Now he was wandering through the halls way past curfew, he decided to go back to the dorm when he felt something against his leg. He jumped a little thinking it was Mrs Norris but was surprised to see a little black cat staring back at him. He smiled as he let the cat sniff his hand. “What is a little cat like you doing out here all alone” he whispered as he picked the cat up. “You remind me of Regulus, he would love you” he said, and the cat purred as James pet him softly. “Let’s go back to the dorms sweet thing” he said as he started walking towards the gryffindor common room

When James entered the dorm he left the door open a crack so the cat could leave any time it wanted too. Then he plopped down on the bed still with the cat in hand. “I think I’ll call you Leo, Regulus would love that name.. you can’t tell any one Leo but I’m love with Regulus he’s so pretty it hurts….” he mumbled as he gave a little kiss on Leo’s head… ”goodnight Leo..”

James woke up to a screech coming from Sirius, confused he attempted to sit only to find Someone on top of him. He put his hands out searching for his glasses and when he finds them and puts them on he blushes when he sees regulus cuddled up on him. Another screech comes form Sirius making him look up “PRONGS WHY IS MY LITTLE BROTHER IN YOUR BED” Sirius yells and James has no idea how regulus is still sleeping “I have no idea Sirius Last night I was cuddling with a cat now regulus is on top of me” he says when he suddenly feels regulus shift on top of him and looks James with a flushed face “oh uhm I’m so sorry James this wasn’t meant to happen” regulus says in a quiet tone. “What do you mean this wasn’t supposed to happen regulus!” Sirius whisper shouts at him. “I was that cat James I’m an animagus I was just trying to get closer to you because I really fancy you and I just thought you would like my cat form better than my human form..” he says softly while looking at his hands. James carefully holds Regulus’s chin moving his head so there eyes would meet “regulus I like you in any form.” James says as he leans in puts his hand on Regulus’s cheeks and kisses him softly
“MOONY HELP” Sirius screech’s loudly as he jumps into Remus’s bed.
