Chapter 2
After a couple of hours, Remus got up without waking Sirius up.
They, again, had an interesting morning, but it was 9 o'clock in the morning now and Remus needed his breakfast.
He put some clothes on and got out of the room like a cat, trying not to make a noise.
He went to the Great Hall to meet the girls.
They were all there - Lily, Dorcas, Marlene and beside her, Mary, who looked more depressed than ever.Remus knew she wasn't very comfortable around Marlene and her girlfriend, because she still hadn't had get rid of her feelings for Marlene.
He sat across them, smiled and started filling his plate with all the food he could find - eggs, bacon, some toasts and fruits. The menu was always extra good on Saturdays at Hogwarts .
'' Good morning, lads. '', he gave a glance at them.
'' Hey, Moony. I bet our boyfriends are still at practice. '', Lily winked, sounding so sure -especially about James.
'' Oh, not both of them. Sirius didn't go today. '', he replied , looking pleased that Sirius didn't go. This year, he spent a lot of time practicing with the team, Marlene, as well.
'' Marls, how you didn't go today? '', he asked her confused.
'' Oh, I just needed a little time with my girl. '', Marlene turned to look at Dorcas' face.
Remus tried to take a look at Mary, as he knew inside how hurt she must be. But, Mary didn't lift her head from the plate.
He was happy for Marlene. She was one of his dearest friends, really, but he wanted Mary to be happy, too. He knew how she felt, watching the person she loved falling in love with someone else.
At least, Remus got his happy ending and wished the same for his friend, too.
He continued eating and a few minutes later, he heard Sirius' footsteps getting close. A moment later, he appeared and sat down next to Remus and grabbed a plate.
'' Hello, girls. Oh, hello to you too, lover. '', Sirius said and gave Remus a soft kiss on the lips - it was more like a brush, but it was enough to make Remus' stomach twist - as if they were alone.
Remus didn't mind. He liked this version of his boyfriend, not giving a shit about what other people thought about them. They were happy, there was no fault in that.
Remus blushed a bit and the girls started laughing.
'' Oh, you two are adorable. '', Mary sounded happier than ever.
'' I know, right? '', Sirius said mockingly, looking at Remus. '' How did I end up so lucky? ''
'' Oh, I don't know. '', Remus giggled .
They all continued laughing and being happy for the couple and that was when James appeared behind Lily.
'' Hello, lads. We're laughing about the grooms here? '', James asked and glanced at Remus' and Sirius' blushed faces.
'' Hey, you. '', Lily gave James a quick kiss.
'' Hello, gorgeous. '', James smiled at his girlfriend and waited to see Lily's face turning red. When it did, he cracked a laugh and took her in her arms.
'' Oh, that's what I love about you. ''
'' Aww. '', the others said in unison and everybody laughed.
Then, they all started to talk about quidditch and school and their next party for the year.
Remus felt his heart ache a little at that, as he hoped that they would all stay the same after school and never break apart.
He had finally found the family he never had.
