The Death of Pandora...
The screen flashed black, as another name everybody knew all too well flashed upon the screen.
Pandora Rosier 1961-1991.
Pandora let out a soft gasp as tears filled her eyes, she’d been lulled into a false sense of security that she would be allowed to live, that despite all the horrors of the world she could prove their was some good in the Rosier’s, prove that she was worth living, but that had been snatched away from her within seconds, and it hurt. She felt her brother’s hand slip into hers, looking into his eyes, she saw the sadness that she was certain mirrored her own.
“We’ll be together again, Panda.” He whispered his voice thick with tears.
“Mummy? I feel sad about all the people thinking falsities because of the wrackspurts, can’t we make a potion to help them?”
“Oh, Luna honey. I don’t think such a potion exists, sweetheart, it’s lovely you want to help though!” Pandora gently ran her fingers through the nine year old girls long blonde hair before leaning down and pressing a kiss to her forehead.
“But Mummy! You’re super clever with potions! We could come up with something!” The little girl cried, Pandora pondered this for a moment, before humming back in response, she wasn’t sure it was safe, but if she found a way around it, maybe they could help the wrackspurt infested souls of their world, afterall.
“I have a daughter…” Pandora whispered quietly tears flooding down her face as she looked to her brother.
“I see both of you in her…” Barty bit back a sob, before glancing once more at Pandora. “Why does everyone get cute little mini me's! I want one!”
The next scene showed Pandora stood over a cauldron, Luna was seated on the opposite side of the laboratory, a permanent protective bubble enclosed her, just incase anything went wrong, this bubble kept her a safe distance from the cauldron, but at the same time she was able to talk with her mother and actually gain some insight in a fun way.
At least, it was supposed to be fun…
Bang.
The cauldron had exploded all over Pandora, little Luna was stuck in her protective bubble and could only sob loudly and wait for her father to hear her, but as the minutes ticked by, and turned into hours, all Luna knew was that her Mummy wouldn’t be waking up again anytime soon.
“Note to self, become terrible at potions, immediately.” Pandora huffed, tears spilling down her cheeks.
“Luna…” Evan whispered quietly, a lump caught in his throat.
“Potions are usually fun, if you know what you are doing.” Severus butted in, looking incredibly offended.
Pandora just lent into Evan’s side, as the tears fell down her cheeks.
