Severus Snape wore a mask for so long that sometimes he forgets who he truly is but then Harry Potter comes to hogwarts and so is she, and in time she becomes Potter's best friend. So he must keep the mask in place because sometime soon the dark lord will rise again and she have to remain safe.A dual POV of Hermione and Severus from the end of OOTP onwards.
