The aroma of deliciousness and the whispers of a conversation
The weather was somewhat gloomy, and somewhat warm.
As can be expected of a Canadian spring break, as per usual it took place before spring started.
Most people would call it March break.
But not this writer, this bitch is going to call it spring break.
Down a road, in a town, somewhere across this vast maple syrup land sits a simple cafe (probably tim hortons). A wonderful spot for a certain group of friends to meet up, no?
With the aroma of baked goods and caffeinated drinks wafting through the air, a large table is filled with a chattering group.
"You guys have such different heights than I thought!"
A voice that belonged to Emrae exclaimed in a happy tone.
"Well, I mean, you cant really see us live online"
Another voice added, that could only be RandomDuck.
"Yeah well if you know someone for long enough you can assume how they'd look around you"
Naaira spoke, looking at RandomDuck with such awe in her eyes.
Just as the last sentance was said another plane flew in the near sky.
"There's always planes flying by around here, huh"
Nutella said, watching the plane through the window.
"Yeach, probably because we're near an airport...?"
Nini quickly responded.
"Planes are so intresting"
RandomDuck commented.
"Wow how expressive of you"
Nini said, elbowing RandomDuck.
"Nini! Dont be mean!!"
Lina scolded Nini.
"What are we supposed to do now that we've actually met up?"
Emrae asked a very valid question, they had no idea of what to talk about and what to do.
A bout of silence followed, no one responded.
"Crickets, literal crickets"
Starberri broke the seemingly never ending silence.
The bell on the door rang and someone walked in, no other than...
SLICK.
Slick walked through the door and walked up to the table.
"Fashionably late, Slick"
RandomDuck commented, looking at Slick whilst he walks up to the table. Slick took a seat at the crowded table and the conversation continues.
