"Harry!" she cried out as she practically ran towards him, burying her face on his shoulder. "Oh, gods, Harry, you look awful," she observed her thinly looking friend as she stepped back from him, with Harry smiling slightly.
"Sorry to interrupt your little reunion but time is running." Mad-Eye said as he gritted out the words while passing by in the middle of them.

"Now all the Potters step right up." The ex-auror called out.

"Hold on what? No- Mad-Eye, they can't— I won't let them risk their lives for me."

Hermione stood there as she watched Harry arguing with Mad-Eye. Lupin stepped up, explaining to Harry that if they didn't do this, then his parents had died for nothing—that Sirius died for nothing, as Harry is the key to winning this war.

Harry was standing there, looking utterly defeated. Hermione quickly yanked out a chunk of his hair and dropped it into the flask containing the Polyjuice Potion. Everyone who had agreed to transform into Harry stepped forward and took a sip from the flask as it was passed around.

The Polyjuice didn't take long to take effect; everyone was removing and changing their clothing to match what the real Harry would be wearing. "Harry, your eyesight is really awful," the curly-haired witch commented as she put on the glasses.

"Geez, 'Mione thanks," he sarcastically replied.

"Right then!" Mad-Eye once again called out everyone's attention.

"It's time to move, clock is ticking fast." he muttered the words as he hastily exit the room.

Hermione rode at the back of Kingsley in a Thestral, her hand gripping tightly on her wand, ready to strike anyone who would attack them. The ride had yet been a little too quiet; there were no Death Eaters in sight. Suddenly, a shot of green light came flashing by them. Thankfully, Kingsley managed to dodge it; otherwise, Kingsley and her would be a dead man by now.

Spells came flying from everywhere. Hermione fired back with jinxes and hexes, but it didn't stop the Death Eaters from pursuing them still. A hint of platinum blonde had managed to catch her eye. It was him, no doubt—her wizard. The blonde wizard threw spells, missing her entirely, and the spells that he had casted ended up hitting one of the Death Eaters, who then came falling off their broom. He was protecting her, even if it means that he'll ended up killing one of their own.

Dolohov came face-to-face with her once again. After what had happened at the Ministry, she swore that she would get her revenge on him, and this was the moment.

"Diffindo!" Dolohov shouted, his wand aimed at her.

"Protego!" Hermione managed to block the spell entirely, not just for her but for Kingsley and the Thestral as well.

"Think you can fool me little witch, I know your the mudblood." He snarled.

Dolohov knew, he knew that she wasn't Harry and that he has come to kill her.

"Avis!" she muttered. "Oppugno!" The canaries that she had summoned had flocked towards Dolohov and were pecking him aggressively. A jet of red light came bursting forth, knocking his wand out of his hand. It was Draco; he was still there and had successfully disarmed Dolohov.

"STUPEFY" she cried out, finally knocking Dolohov off his broom. She watched him fall and disappear into the darkness of the night.

There was no other Death Eater left, it was only him with his hand gripping tightly on his broom. Draco stared at her, signaling her by tapping his wrist before fleeing the scene.

The bracelet on her left wrist that was hidden beneath her clothes suddenly felt warm.

Stay safe

Hermione and Kingsley arrived at the Burrow with Lupin at wand point as Kingsley pointed his wand at him.
"The last words Albus Dumbledore spoke to the pair of us?" He questions the wolf.

"Harry— is the best hope we got. Trust him." He said, almost as if he was out of breathe.

Hermione scanned the people who were gathered around the Burrow. She spotted the same boy she had known for years. She broke into a sprint and gave him a hug. He scanned his body checking if he had sustained any injuries. "You alright Harry?" She asked.

"Yeah, alright you?"

"I got back at Dolohov." A small grin was visible on her face.

"You killed him?" His eyes widen in shock.

"I'm not entirely sure if he's dead per se. I only managed to stun him, and he fell right off his broom."

"Blimey Hermione!" Harry couldn't believe that Hermione was able to defeat her attacker and got her revenge. He gave her a faint smile as he pat her on the shoulders.

"Oi, you two!" A voice called out.

"RON!" Harry and Hermione cried out in unison as they came rushing to him.

"What happened?" Harry asked, there were visible cuts all over Ron's face and neck.

"That lunatic of an Aunt that Tonks has, that's what happened" Ron scowled.

"Bellatrix?" Harry said in disbelief,

"Yeah mate, she went all crazy when she saw Tonks, firing curses left and right!" He huffed, "then of course Tonks has to provoke her even more, that woman went more insane than she is!"

Hermione couldn't believe that Ron and Tonks went face-to-face with Bellatrix, Hermione surely knows why Bellatrix is after Tonks, because Tonks' mother was a blood traitor, Andromeda Tonks once belonged to the Noble house of Black, and a sister no less of that crazy witch that she and her friends had encountered during their fifth year.

After ending Sirius, she surely has no problem of ending the life of another one from her family. She could even end Draco's without thinking twice no doubt if she ever finds out that Draco, the heir to the House of Malfoy and the last pureblood male from the Black family is in love with a muggle-born witch.

Oh gods, she could kill Draco.

Emotions came flooding through her, it didn't come acrossed her mind that Bellatrix could actually kill him if she ever finds out. Surely Narcissa would intervene right? She could only hope that it wouldn't come to that.

"What's wrong?" Ron asked, making her snap out of everything. This wasn't the time to let her emotions takeover her, the war is brewing and its nearly there.

"N-nothing, I–I'm quite alright" she said, intaking a hefty amount of air before exhaling it back out, sort of a release to the tension she has been feeling, but still her worrisome still hasn't subdue she couldn't help but think what could happen to her wizard as their side failed to capture undesirable number one.

"Let's go 'Mione, let's see how George's feeling." He ushered her to the entrance of his home, as she entered her gaze immeadietly landed on George who is now laying down by the couch, his ear was blasted off.

Behind her, Fred came speeding up and brushed past by her to be with his twin, he knelt beside the couch and held his hand, he was trying to be brave for his twin, not letting the emotion takeover him.

"How you feeling Georgie?" Hermione watched Fred as he tries to make conversation with George who was laying still.

"Saint like—" he smiled, everyone was just watching the twins' interaction. "I'm holey Fred, geddit?" George let out a pained chuckle. In the lights of what had happened, George was still able to let out a joke, his humor was undefeating still.

"How did this happen?" She asked as she approached the twins.

"Snape—" Remus answered, "he casted his slicing curse and it hit George's ear, I'm sure that curse was intently for the other Death Eather." He continued.

The slicing curse? She thought and it hit her, it was the same spell that Harry used on him last year. George could have died tonight.

"Snape was trying to curse one of his own!?" It was Harry who had spoken. "But why would he? He was the one who killed Dumbledore! Why would he try to kill one of their own!" Harry practically shouted, his face flushed with anger.

"Harry, he is one of us—" Remus tried to remind Harry.

"He has killed Dumbledore!" He fumed,

The sound of a heavy thud interupted the fuming rage that Harry was having, Remus along with Arthur and Kinglesy rushed out as well.

It was Bill and Fleur, they had managed to return. Bill's face looked grim as if there was news that would shock everyone. "Mad-Eye's dead" He spoke clearly. She was right, the news has indeed shocked everyone.

"Mundungus went on a panic after coming face-to-face with You-Know-Who, he apparated mid duel and then a killing curse had structed Mad-Eye." Bill continued.

"You-Know-Who must've been expecting Harry to be with the most experienced Auror." Remus pointed out.

Hermione sat on the floor as well as her other two best mates, they were gathered around by the fire they had conjured in Ron's room.

"You think the Ministry have plans?" Ron asked, looking hopeful that they might have a choice to opt out on this war, but there isn't any choice for both Ron and her at all, where Harry goes they'll go.

The ministry hasn't enforced any laws at all to keep everyone safe, it feels as if they want Voldemort to just win and take over. "Doubt it," she snorted. "The Ministry is not even doing everything they can, it felt like they're leaving it all up to Harry to end this war." Hermione fumed, anger with a mix of frustration had started to build up on her.

Hermione looked over at Harry who seems to be too quiet, it was obvious that he was lost in his own thoughts. She nudge over his arm before finally speaking to him. "A sickle for your thoughts?"

"I can't let you both go with me," Harry finally said.

"WHAT?" Hermione stood up, shocked to what Harry had said.

"I said I won't let you both come with me," he repeated his words, this time much more clearer and more intent.

"No Harry! This isn't just about you and we are coming with you whether you like it or not." She retorted.

"Hermione, I wouldn't let you and Ron risk your lives for this—for me." The raven-haired boy argues.

"We are coming with you wether or not you like it end of discussion!" She bellowed.

"Harry, we— I am fighting for something too. I'm fighting for a clear future for all of us." She added .

Harry didn't utter a word, Hermione drag her feet towards the door slamming it as she exits. The war has been getting to her and the stress of it has been building on her a lot more.

She went to her shared room with Ginny, she slumped her body on the bed and stared over the betwitched ceiling that mimicks the night sky. As she stared at it longer she noticed a familiar constellation, she traces it along with her finger as she whispers the name of it, "Draco," she quietly spoke, she felt an aching feeling the moment her wizard's name came out from her very lips.

"Did you say something?" Ginny turned towards her.

"Oh—erm, sorry Ginny, I didn't mean to wake you." She look at her apologetically as she wonders what Ginny must be feeling with all of these happening.

"Are you scared, Hermione?" Ginny had asked.

Hermione had considered all potential outcomes of this war.  She was frightened, but felt it necessary to remain outwardly composed for the sake of others. But was she scared at all? There's this inkling feeling she's been having; she wasn't scared of dying, she was scared of losing and of Draco not escaping this horrid mess.

"I guess, I am" She simply replied to Ginny, turning her back on her.
