The birth of Remus lupin
“ so your really leaving Detroit” Chris Asked swinging in the swing next to Marshall the two boys looked toward the distance the smog from buildings and cars filled the park air with chemicals that would make a tourist scrunch up their nose. “Yeah but I’ll be back for Christmas I think” Chris sighed the two knew Christmas was ages away and not much to hold on too “what did your mum say your new name was?” Marshall snickered “Remus Lupin” Chris laughed with him “what a loser you should bleach your hair before you go give your mum a heart attack” he meant it as a joke but Marshall had that gleam in his eye that meant he thought he was serious “your joking mate” Chris looked at his idiot friend with a smile “I’m at the prime of my youth and I’ll only be young once” Marshall quoted Chris as always finished it “yeah but you’ll be stupid for the rest of your life”.
Marshall came home that day a new boy bleach blonde hair and a tan like his mother one ear pierced like those boys on MTV and he felt new like he was Remus Lupin. His mother came in and saw him too high to notice a difference “have you got your bags” he nodded and she grabbed them dumb to the fact his DVDs and portable players was in there too along with his camera “are you ready Remus” he nodded and followed her to the car.
