Summary
Mitsuki visits Aya.
Note
Hi hi i made this because i was bored

Quiet, dimly lit up streets at 1 in the morning were the things Mitsuki preferred. No busy crowds, no loud cars shuffling, just her and the rest of the empty street.

Walking carefully on the sides of the road, holding a large bouquet of tulips, she crossed bridges, walked familiar paths, on the way to the one girl she would do all this for.

The girl she bonded with for their love of music, the reason Mitsuki would have so many friends, the girl she loved.

Aya Oosawa.

The slightly damp roads felt comfortable with the yellowish lampposts open, the large, indigo sky giving a sense of comfort, and tranquility.

She made it to Aya’s house, after a long 15 minute walk, she was there. However, instead of knocking, walking in, and going to her room, Mitsuki passed right by it, like it was another unfamiliar place.

Her walk lasted a good long hour before making it to the place she meant to go to.

The hospital.

Making her way through the glass doors, slightly blinded by the fluorescent white lights, she approached the registrar and asked for a room number.

After a quick conversation, she left, on the way to said room. Each step felts heavy, tiring, even, but she knew all this would be worth it. For her love.

Reaching the said room, she enters it to see the pink haired girl laying down the white hospital bed, sound asleep, like she has been for years.

“Aya, I’m here.” Said Mitsuki, placing the flowers beside the bed, then holding Aya’s hand.

“Its been a while since I’ve heard your voice. I fear I might forget it one of these days.” Mitsuki continued in a slightly sarcastic tone.

taking a grip on Aya’s hand, she squeezes it tightly. Humming songs they used to listen to in the comfort of their beds, now replaced with a dry, cold, hospital room.

“Wake up?” Asked Mitsuki. “You already have enough beauty sleep, I think thats what you could call it.”

Before Mitsuki could even say anything else, the grip on her hand tightened.

But… she didnt move her hand at all?

“Aya-“ she got cut off by the machines beeping, the heartbeat growing faster.

This was it. She was finally waking up.

Her Aya was going to see her again.
