New students
From outside the great hall, we could hear Dumbledore nearing the end of his speech. He was about to go on with dinner.
"Has he forgotten us?" Mattheo said looking over at me
"I think he has" I replied
"How could he forget us?" Mattheo asked
I rolled my eyes. "Follow me, cousin dearest," I said pulling Mattheo by his hand
"Uhh Milly"
Pandora burst through the doors of the great hall. all eyes were now on her.
"Forgetting something Dumbledore?"
"Surly not Miss Snape, Mr Riddle. I was just about to make the announcement."
"Surely," I said sarcastically.
"There will be two new students joining us as of now. May I introduce to you the new third-year students Pandora Snape and Mattheo Riddle." Dumbledore announced making the great hall erupt into whispers.
Everyone had questions, I mean, wouldn't you?
"ok you two come up you should be sorted into your houses now"
The two walked up, knowing exactly what house they would be placed into, and of course, they were right. The daughter of Snape and son of 'lord Voldemort' himself -could there be any other house?
and just like with Draco, the hat shouted "Slytherin!" both times before it was even placed.
Draco laughed. Then he looked at his minions on either side of him. "of course they're Slytherin. They're my cousins." the minions laughed. Draco noticed they were still in the same spot "MOVE!" He shouted, and the two boys quickly made room for the Slytherin princess and the dark lord's son. we sat down next to Draco in the spot he so kindly made for us. I looked over at my father and smiled. He nodded approvingly. I turned back to Draco who was smirking at a group of kids at another table.
"Who are they, and why are they looking at us."
"the golden trio," Draco said in disgust
"golden trio?" Mattheo asked
"yeah that glasses freak over there that's Harry Potter"
"Oh, that's Harry," I said
"wait, is that weasel boy?" Mattheo asked.
"yh and the girl that dirty mud blood, her name's Hermione"
"mudblood, eww," Mattheo laughed.
Draco's eyes gleamed with malice. "They're always meddling in things they have no business being near. Best to keep your distance they could ruin our mission"
I glanced over at the Gryffindor table, where Harry, Ron, and Hermione were watching us intently. Harry's eyes were narrowed in suspicion, and Hermione looked like she was mentally cataloging everything about us. Ron, however, was glaring at Draco with undisguised hatred.
"They don't seem very smart," Mattheo observed.
"They're not," Draco said with a sneer. "but the mud blood is a book freak. She knows things and Potter," Draco said the last part, rolling his eyes. "He's got a hero complex and thinks he's better than everyone else."
"Well, that's just not true how could he think that when I exist?" Pandora said, her eyes glinting with genuine confusion.
Draco grinned. "I knew you'd fit right in."
As the feast began, Mattheo leaned over to me. "Ready for this?"
"Always," I replied, feeling a thrill of anticipation.
