Upstairs?
‘Ok,’ a blonde girl sat next to James said. Regulus recognised her as Marlene Mckinon- Dorcas’ girlfriend. ‘Never have I ever had sex.’
Confident Regulus thought raising both an eyebrow and his red plastic cup to his lips. Luckily, no one was really paying him much mind as they were far too intrigued by the fact both his brother and Remus had taken a drink with heavy blushes on their faces. Barty and Evan obviously also raised their cups as well as Mary McDonald and, of course, James Potter’s.
‘Wait, hang on. Am I the only one that just saw my innocent baby brother drink? You’ve had sex?!’
Regulus cheeks started burning as every person in the circle turned to look at him. Though the strange thing was, only one pair of hazel eyes were truly lighting him on fire. This time regulus stare back- defiantly.
Sirius was still wailing something about defiling a fifteen-year old’s innocence, when Regulus finally ripped his eyes away from James’ and said ‘Yes, yes, deflowered, defiled. Next question?’
The game continued on until it was Marlene’s turn to ask again. ‘Never have I ever, wanted to kiss a black.’
This question took regulus aback. Remus lupin shamelessly raised his cup to lips and gulped down whatever was left of his vodka. He then turned to Sirius, smirked, grabbed the back of his neck and kissed him full on the lips, leaving their mouths open enough to see the way their tongues fought against each other. There was an eruption of cheers from the crowd around us and shouts of I knew it and money being passed around with concerning earnestness.
Regulus refrained himself from retching and looked away from his brother rather abruptly only to find a pair of hazel eyes once again seemingly trying to tear him apart piece by piece. And then, ever so slowly, he picked his cup off the floor and raised it to his lips.
By this point everyone had calmed down about Remus and Sirius and the latter had stopped trying to chew each other’s faces off and suddenly it was noticed that James’ cup was at his lips and he was slowly sipping away at his drink- eyes still staring into Regulus' soul.
‘Oh. My. God!’ Lily Evans shouted. ‘James totally wants to fuck Regulus.’
Regulus tried furiously to stop the blush that began to creep up on his cheeks, but it was near impossible with how pale he was.
Still, James' eyes wouldn’t break their hold on Regulus'.
The next sound was a gasp. Sirius had finally put two and two together.
‘It was you! You had sex with my baby brother.’
‘Still not a baby Sirius,’ Regulus muttered
‘Oh, you BROTHERFUCKER! My Regulus. You had sex with my Regulus.’
James was spluttering, clearly flustered, ‘It was only once, I swear!’
Regulus tried not to feel disappointed about the indignation on James' face or his scared and wild eyes, but all hopes he had of being together were being slowly crushed right in front of him.
‘What so it just didn’t mean anything to you and you’re just going to break his heart!’ Sirius yelled at James .
‘No, it did mean something! I just I love him, and I love you.’ James’ face reddened as the words slipped from his mouth.
Regulus stuttered. ‘You love me? We slept together once and that is enough for you to decide you love me?’
Regulus tried his best to feel anger, but he couldn't help but feel immeasurably happy about the fact the boy he had a crush on for YEARS had finally requited his feelings.
‘I’m sorry Regulus, but yes, I do love you. And it’s probably pathetic but I can’t do anything about it. If I’ve scared you off, I’m sorry but just know I love you.
Regulus took a deep breath got up from my seat and surged across the room to kiss James full on the mouth. There were cheers from the circle and shouts from Sirius but the two were too lost in the slide and drag of each other’s lips to care.
James' tongue slid across my bottom lip as if asking to be granted access to my mouth and Regulus happily obliged opening his mouth wide so he could get to it.
James' tongue easily beat Regulus' in a battle of dominance and Regulus even let out a small moan into his mouth. At this point the circle around them had broken away to give them some much-needed privacy.
They broke away- breathing heavily.
‘Upstairs?’ James whispered.
‘Please.’
