Morgan POV

Something was off with Hotch. He had been watching him all week and the man who was normally the last to leave, went home by 5:30 every day.
He had also been texting a lot.

Morgan should talk it out with Baby Girl. She might have some answers. Plus, she was wearing that tight blue dress today that made her…eyes… pop.
Grinning to himself he got up from his desk intent on getting in his favorite blonde’s way, when Rossi walked in with a young man. Rossi’s body language was odd, and kept looking at the guy like he would disappear.

Derek sat back down and analyzed the newcomer. He was young, early twenties he would bet. Dark skin and eyes, tall, but lithe. The man was actually ridiculously attractive, bordering on pretty. He kept looking over at Rossi as well, but his face was blank of all emotion, until Rossi grabbed his shoulder to guide him to his office- then a flicker of something crossed his face before going back to that still blankness. The two went into Rossi’s office and shut the door.

Derek debated hanging out here and watching some more, but the thought of the little blue dress had him jumping up and heading to his favorite tech analysts office.

Aaron POV

Aaron smiled at his phone, before texting Hadrian back that yes he would love to see him and the boys for lunch. Putting the phone in his pocket, he decided to check on the case log with Rossi, to make sure nothing will interrupt the rare availability he had today.

Knocking on the door before opening the office, he paused at the sight of a younger man sitting in one of the chairs next to Rossi.

”Rossi, I’m sorry if I’m interrupting…” He kept his hand on the door in case he needed to leave them in privacy.

“No, come in Aaron. I’d like you to meet someone.” Rossi folds gestures at the man, “Aaron, this is my son, Blaise Zabini. Blaise, this is Aaron Hotchner.”

The younger man stood and held a hand out, which Aaron shook. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” His accent was different, definitely Italian, but softened. He was dressed well, in a three piece bespoke suit.

”Likewise.” His eyes flickered to David, “I wasn’t aware you had a son.”

Rossi’s look was pained. “There were circumstances, his mother and I decided it would be…better… to keep our lives separate. I was happy though that he came to find me now that he is an adult.” He continued to look at his son’s face, and Aaron could see how much he wanted to have some place in the man’s life.

“Well, I stopped by to check the case load, but I will hand it off to Morgan and JJ to sort, you enjoy your lunch with your son. Oh- Hadrian and the boys are stopping by as well, so stop by the office. I can’t imagine a world that he doesn’t bring enough sweets to feed the entire building.” His lips quirked up at the corner, and Rossi chuckled and waved him off as he left the office.

Looking at the bullpen, he could see Morgan was missing. Sighing, he headed to Garcia’s office.

Hadrian POV

Hadrian clipped the guest badges to Jack, then Teddy, then himself, before hefting the large basket of food he brought. Each boy had a large glass container as well containing treats.

Keepinng both boys in front of him in his line of sight they headed up to the BAU offices. He was so happy that Aaron had free time, he usually was so busy.

Jack and Teddy were whispering back and forth as they walked, every once in a while throwing a not so discrete glance towards Hadrian. He figured they were planning some sort of mischief, but they were good boys so he didn’t worry so much.

Knocking on Aaron’s open door, they let themselves in when they saw he was the only one there. He looked up and gave a rare smile to the boys and then Hadrian, his dark eyes crinkling softly making Hadrian’s stomach flutter.
Teddy sniffed loudly, then looked at Hadrian and then Aaron with a face splitting grin.

Oh no… Hadrian felt a wash of worry as he realized why Teddy might be sniffing so blatantly. He might not be a werewolf, but he had some tendencies- he ate more meat closer to the moon, was highly protective of those he considered his, and his nose could detect certain things emotional responses like distress. Or attraction.

Hadrian sighed. He would deal with that later. He worked on laying out their lunch, with help from the boys setting out the brownies and biscuits he had made.

“Teddy, put that back, you will spoil your lunch.” He didn’t even turn around to see the child pouting and putting back the chocolate biscuit he was attempting to pocket.

”How is your day boys?” Aaron spoke up while filling his plate- Hadrian had made his favorites.

”We got to bake and Teddy and I built a castle with legos and I floated the dragons around so it was like they were flying.” Jack giggled as he babbled, holding his plate in both hands as Hadrian spooned some of the fruit salad on it. He froze as Jack’s words, eyes wide, but Aaron just laughed. Teddy had a guilty look on his face.

“Oh, you made the dragons fly? What did Teddy do?” Aaron played along.

“Teddy was getting cookies downstairs but when he came up he made the dragons change color.”

”Well, that seems rather impressive for both of you. I am glad you had fun.”

Hadrian watched Jack out of the corner of his eye, mind spinning.

“Oh, Rossi, come on in.” Aaron spoke behind him as he finished filling Teddy’s plate.

He turned as he spoke, “Yes, please David, we have plenty-“ he broke off seeing the person following Mr. Rossi into the office.

“Potter?” Blaise Zabini spoke when he realized who he was looking at.

”It’s Black now.” Hadrian spoke evenly, controlling his breathing.

“Po-Black… no one has seen you in years, everyone has searched for you.” Zabini looked baffled at seeing the British widen world savior in a muggle law enforcement office.

”And are they going to find me now?” Hadrian’s voice turned icy, mind spinning at the threat to his peace. He ignored Aaron’s intense stare as he observed the interaction.

Blaise was quiet for a moment before saying, “Not from me. I was just surprised to see you here.”

”And why exactly are you here? It’s not somewhere I would have expected to see you either.”

”That would be because of me. I’m Blaise’s father.” Rossi spoke up.

”Excuse me, but how do you two know each other?” Aaron cut in.

Both men were silent, before Hadrian offered up, “We attended the same boarding school.” He turned and began to straighten the items of food and tidying up any crumbs. “There is plenty, feel free to make yourself a plate. Aaron, I’m going to take a tray of sweets out to the team, please excuse me.” Grabbing the artfully arranged plate of biscuits, he moved quickly out of the room.

Morgan POV

Derek was dealing with a stack of reports since Hotch was apparently having lunch with his kid, and Rossi had his special visitor. He wanted to bang his head. He hated paperwork - he usually did everything he could to convince Reid to do it for him. But Hotch asked him specifically, so he would work on it. Looking up, he smiled when he saw Garcia swaying her way to him, a cup of coffee in each hand. She slid to sit on the edge of his desk, handing the cup to him.

”Baby Girl, you are a goddess among women.”

”I am aren’t I? Will you worship me?” Her eyes sparkle with delight at his flirting and his heart clenches at how beautiful she is.

”Every day of my life pretty girl.”

She smiled at him but turned her head as something caught her eye. Squealing in excitement she jumped up, “Hadrian is here! Oh, I have a new pattern I NEED to talk to him about - be right back gorgeous.” At that she darted off to talk to her crafting buddy. Derek just shook his head smiling, enjoying the view of her walking away. His smile faded when he saw the expression on Hadrian’s face. Kitten looked scared and upset. Derek stood up and headed that way, his protective feelings for the smaller man kicking in.

Garcia also seemed to recognize something was wrong, gently asking Hadrian if he was alright.

”Hey wildcat, you doin ok?” Morgan asked as he came up to the two.

Hadrian gave a wobbly smile, “Yes, of course, I am well. Thank you. I brought biscuits for everyone - Teddy and Jack helped ice them.”

Derek gave Hadrian a long look, but accepted that he didn’t want to speak about whatever was bothering him. Taking a cookie out of the tin he smiled at the polka dot owl he selected. Teddy’s work most likely.

Hotch came out of his office just then, standing close enough to Hadrian to brush arms. Derek raised an eyebrow at Garcia who looked excited.

“Hadrian, the boys are occupied, may I speak with you for a moment?” Hotch leaned down and spoke quietly near Hadrian’s ear. Hadrian looked up at him then nodded once, before handing the tin to Garcia and walking to a near empty office with Hotch.

Derek and Garcia tried not to be obvious about watching the two, but it wasn’t their fault the door wasn’t closed. Hotch had taken one of Hadrian’s hands, and with his other hand he tilted Hadrian’s chin up to look at him while they spoke. They were standing incredibly close together.

“Oh my god Baby Girl. Are you seeing what I am seeing?”

Garcia bounced up and down and squealed quietly, “They are so cute! Do you think the mistletoe worked?”

Derek grinned, “My man.”

Aaron POV

Entering the unused office, Aaron couldn’t help himself for reaching towards Hadrian, clasping a hand to pull him closer, and tilting his chin up since he knew he would speak to the floor if uncomfortable.

”Hadrian, are you really ok? Do we need to be concerned about Rossi’s son?”

Hadrian gazed at him for a long moment, his bright green eyes worried and sad looking. “Zabini wouldn’t harm me no, I just fear if he communicates to anyone from my previous community where I have relocated. I went to quite a lot of trouble to get away from all of them, I do not want to be found.”

”May I ask why you are so adamant about no one who you knew previously being able to find you? Aside from your family?”

”It’s all related to the circumstances of the event that occurred at my school. I can’t speak of that, but it did lead to some rather extensive harassment from those who were happy about how it turned out as well as those who were angry about it. I couldn’t even leave my house without someone following, people constantly sent me letters and calls, marriage proposals and death threats. I just wanted to raise Teddy and be left alone.”

Aaron’s gaze never wavered from Hadrian’s seeing the truth and frustration in his face as he admitted to this. Nodding once, he ran his thumb across Hadrian’s cheek.

“Ok, I will talk to Rossi. I will also speak to his son, get a feel for if this is something we will need to face going forward, or if he is going to stay quiet about it.”

Hadrian closed his eyes. “Thank you Aaron. I don’t think Zabini would tell, he was a private person as well as far as I knew, but its just the fear of not knowing for sure.”

Aaron smiled at him, moving his hand to Hadrian’s back. “Come along. I left the boys coloring under Rossi’s watch. Better get back before my walls have new artwork.”

Hadrian laughed, his dimples peeking out, and Aaron couldn’t help but smile at making him do so.

Across the room Prentiss and JJ’s jaws dropped in shock at seeing their stoic supervisor smile with his entire face.
