Note
This is my gift of showing my expressions of early happy birthday Yuu. I hope you enjoy an alterative version of this spin of Yuu and the power of Magic.

Absolute silence.

Yet, Yuu relished in it with nothing disturbing her dreams. No strange visions of any sort confused her for many days. She could relax as she just dreams of her and her friends having fun. Grim on her lap, sleeping in the cheerful chaos that her friends bring along the wind. Yuu prefers this dream over anything. But blissful silence is not bad as long as having her friends present was enough as nothing could bother her anymore. Yuu just want this moment of her dreams to last.

Unfortunately, Yuu does not get her way as always as a slow rumble of people talking loudly disrupts her peace of silence and dreams. The noise grew louder. Chittering like bugs on a summer night, urging her to wake up from her sweet solace. Mildly annoyed, she opens her eyes to see.

A room that vaguely resembled the potion classroom in the large dungeons of Hogwarts. The dim dark stone walls can barely be seen with the torches in the darkness. A dome over her lit up with Lumos charms above, revealing the rows of benches that arose on both sides of her. Almost the room was filled to the brim with many shadowy figures barely seen by Yuu. As the Lumos charms did barely enough to light the room as the charms were centered around Yuu, shining the light onto her as the center of the room.

This brings her to the realization that she is in a hearing courtroom as she notices that many of the hidden figures wear the badge authority of many different departments in the Ministry of Britain. Even some of them were not related to this case as some of them were even her school peers from Hogwarts have snuck in without notice by the adults. Sneering and laughing at her situation at the hearing through the gaps.

However, Yuu simply glanced at the crowd, ignoring the ostracized words pointed at her. Yuu stretches her numb arms as they talk loudly.

Before their voices were silenced as the heavy doors of the courtroom swung closed behind the last people entering. All of the people in the courtroom were seated before her. An auror stood up and waved his wand toward her. The chains on the arms of her chair sprang onto her arms and bound her to the chair. However, Yuu was unbothered by the harsh treatment that they were giving her. She decided to look up to see the seated people who arrived at her hearing above her.

There she saw, were about eighty people overcrowding the benches and the courtroom. Including her school peers ducking in the crowd. Seeing now clearly in the Lumos charms glowing brighter, Yuu can see several shades of plum color robes of the adults, before her, embroidered with an elaborately cursive silver W on the left side of their chest and…

They were all staring down at her with unreadable expressions.

As everyone knows why they were holding this court trial for a reason. With the intention of this hearing was far more severe in the cold eyes of the judges of this trial. Looming over her like a crowd of crows waiting to have a go at her. To tear her body apart with a glint of glee in their eyes.

Yuu took in the situation as she remembered how she ended up in this situation. As soon as Yuu managed to return to Britain. She headed towards Hogwarts in hopes of contracting Headmistress Minerva McGonagall to inform her about her whereabouts; before going into a string of chaos she had never imagined how Albus and Scorpius mess with time that badly. Yuu never let out a peep once she dragged their asses back to the school grounds safely.

Yuu handed herself to the authorities to cover for them. The boys under her arms would face severe charges against them for life. Even if Albus was the son of Harry Potter and an Auror. As well as Scorpius’s father. No one was above the law if they acted with corruption and pulling behind the strings. Just as Yuu triggered the trace in her wand, sending a patronus to the Headmistress’ office at once.

Yuu knew the Aurors would be waiting for her at the school grounds. Upon realizing that an underage teen had used magic and broken the Statute of Secrecy without the school’s authorities and surveillance. Yuu was escorted by the Magic Aurors who apprehended her immediately. She noted that the trace in her wand only triggered when she came back to Britain.

There were no multiple traces when she had used magic excessively in Twisted Wonderland world. Oddly enough, this proves her theory that the authorities had no way of knowing the trace was broken in another world as Yuu mentally noted herself to file that information to Azul’s research once she got back to Twisted Wonderland.

Her wand was confiscated along with the personal she had on her before an Auror slapped handcuffs on her harshly. Yuu did not bat an eye as she was put in a temporary cell and was told that a trial would be held which Yuu obediently agreed and followed them without any restraint. It would have taken a month if not for the schedule change.

The trial was surprisingly delayed a little due to the sudden events that had been happening during her disappearance from Hogwarts school year. So Yuu was given a breather during the time.

Despite the cold treatment during her imprisonment, Yuu learned a lot of things in wizarding Britain with the small talk of her guard watchers. How the Time-Turner had affected and caused an outbreak of mass panic across many countries. People vanish out of thin air for several months. Several revolts and revolutions happened to rise at the same time in both the magical and non-magical worlds. However, the incidents slowly reversed or changed for the good after Yuu had sorted out the problem of Time-Turner. Some incidents remain unchanged as the non-magical world addresses the problems themselves. Yuu has not heard anything about her father and mother. As her father’s name never came up in the conversation.

Yuu guessed that they either had not received the hearing date or they had received it but chose to ignore it. They would not come to her trial hearing that she was not surprised at all. They wouldn’t associate with a bad child that would drag their names in the mud. Not that they cared about her as Yuu was distracted herself counting the grain on the ground. After she received the date of the hearing on the second day of her imprisonment. One of the guard watchers informed her that her trial would be in the old courtrooms underground. The old Bailey Courtroom. As the biggest courtroom of Wizarding Britain, the Ministry had to offer to hold a trial there.

Yuu was not surprised that she would be severely punished for recklessly using magic. As she was escorted to her destination at once. Yuu wished that the trial started as she was bored of sitting on the accused’s chair. It has been a while since she waited for a long time since the court got so rowdy once more with everyone in their places. Not that she was bothered by the fact that the people who came up with this trial made her wait several hours without much food to eat before the whole thing. Given the minimum number of breakfast snacks, they had on short notice from the sudden change of schedule.

As the hearing was sharp at the crack of dawn. Yuu can feel the grumpiness of morning sickness from suddenly awake at night. She could no longer ignore the burning stares like she was some sort of zoo animal to entertain them. Yuu glanced at the people in the rows of benches. They stare at her with either austere expression or frank curiosity.

Compared to the never-ending stares she got during that past particular trip to the Ministry of Magic from getting her last name struck and the resentment and hatred of her being a child possibly related to a Death Eater supporter in Hogwarts. However, most of them did not let their expression form on their faces as she awaited her hearing. Excluding her peers who ditched school to see her trial. To her guessing and likely theory that they were holding up to their duties or they were hiding their intentions to see punishment at last.

After all, there were few trials of underage teens breaking the Statute of Secrecy in the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery over the past 1998s and so. There hasn’t been any use of the courtroom unless it was a big deal that a wizard or witch had screwed over very badly. So Yuu deduced that they wanted an excuse to use the biggest courtroom. Not that she could protest against her hearing since she did indeed violate the law several times during her stay at Raven Night College. As Yuu remains ever so passive against her predicament, sitting at the bottom of the courtroom. She looks up at the people who were present in the courtroom.

In the middle of the front row seat sat the jury court leader Yuu who assumed, raised their hand to silence the courtroom. Leaving an ominous tranquility that gave Yuu an unsettling mind. The jury court leader’s austere voice reverberated across the courtroom.

“The Accused being present at last–” A small scoff in the background. Yuu agrees with the person as the leading judge rolls his eyes at that remark, proceeding. “Everything in order is in–”

Cutting off the leader of the court’s words the doors slammed wide open.

Catching the attention of Yuu and everyone. As they all turn to see… The star of the show is here… As Yuu thought. Harry Potter, the wizard man himself, saved the wizardry world of Britain. A driving force as an Auror. Her former professor. All in his former and current glory days. Has arrived with a blazed fury on his side. Hermione Granger, the Minister for Magic, followed by her husband, Ron Weasley in tow.

All wearing the red uniforms of the aurors; trimmed with golden edges and silver. Yuu vaguely imagines them as the Royal British guards without the tall hats. But as Yuu met Professor Harry Potter in the eyes.

His eyes were livid and seething with rage as he marched towards the bottom row of the benches to the leader who was in charge of leading the trial.

“I would disagree that the trial is not in order without any witnesses for the defense in the name of the accuser. Mr. George Jeffreys.”

Auror-Professor Harry called, meeting the eye of the judge leader who in turn, showed a displeasure scowl on his face. As George pushes back his monocles on his crooked nose, he is very much flustered by the sudden appearance of the leader of the Auror Department and the prime minister here at the hearing court.

Judge George mumbled under his breath before he asked, “Ah… Auror Harry and Prime Minister Herimone. Um. Yes, You must have gotten the message that we sent. As we are so sorry that we had to change the timing and place of the hearing—”

“Yes, you changed it without notifying me and the rest of the department. But thankfully, due to a lucky mistake, I and a couple of Aurors were at the Ministry after we all had to deal with our rowdy children. Although…” Harry stared down Judge George. “You will also be facing a heavy penalty for violating and abusing your power in this department of magic law. Additionally, having your people as Jurors and prosecutors of this trial. You refuse to let the prosecuted have any defendants that you caused several messes in the communication department. Am I wrong?”

“Urg. But this time, it was only one time that the schedule has changed—”

“I would disagree with you since you law department folks never have a solid schedule. Given this fact, the letter that you sent had me off guard. Potter.” Huffing behind the giant doors. Yuu was taken by surprise this time as a man with cold gray eyes and a pale complexion huffed in exhaustion as he was covered in sweat indicating that the man ran all the way here. His silver blond hair was disheveled from his normal look.

“Why…? Mr. Malfoy, are you here?” Yuu would have to agree with Mr. George Jeffreys’ words as Draco Malfoy, the father of Scorpius should have no reason to arrive at this hearing trial. Yet—

“Because I am here to represent the accuser of this hearing trial,” Draco simply said, brushing down his appearance. As he swept away any debris that must have gotten stuck on him. Waves of confusion erupted within the court as everyone and Yuu got gobsmacked by his words.

Some of the people in the courtroom muttered their discernment as things were going off course. Yuu fretted that this was not in the plan that she desired. Others were in respectful awe at Auror-Professor Harry as they waved at him. Yuu was internally panicking at the moment. Auror Harry walked down to the center of the courtroom along with Hermonie and Draco who came late. Ron Weasley went out and closed the doors before taking a seat among the benches of people.

Yuu remained silent still as Auror-Professor took out his wand and flicked it, and three simple chairs before taking a seat on her left. Draco Malfoy and Hermione taking their set on her right. The trial continued as Yuu listened to the drone of Judge Geroge. They were listing the things that she committed. It was quite outlandish that one of the crimes they listed was the recent murder of a student. She knew nothing of it as Auror Harry dismissed the accusation that there was another third party known as the Augurey where Yuu learned a lot of things that the judge council kept throwing at her in an attempt to frame her with a heavier punishment.

They tried to rope her with another person who had masked their identity for 7 years but the timeline didn’t match up with her age. Yuu wondered how much this plan that Auguery managed to pull off. She knew a little due to the strange visions she had when she was in Twisted Wonderland. Not to mention several incidents that involved a Death Eater carrying a Time-Turner who attacked her to spread the name of Lord Voldemort.

Yuu dug into the case as she added it to the goal of coming back to her world. She dug into her unknown background as she questioned whether her father was not a Death Eater or not. It was a mystery that she never confirmed as she put it behind her mind as she figured out there were forces behind this failsafe plan to bring a small prophecy to success. How Albus and many other acquaintances back in Hogwarts kept appearing in her visions. And even some unknown figures that are kept in the dark.

It was apparent that something must have happened back in her world. Whatever it was, the situation back in her world wasn't looking good in Yuu’s eyes as she was attacked by a death eater member; whose appearance shook her that it was clear enough that the situation posed a big threat to going back to her world. It wasn’t the only problem that was an obstacle to her.

Yuu knew that going back to her world meant leaving her friends in their world… and oh boy… Yuu didn’t like or want to make that choice either. She had gotten attached to her friends during her stay… She didn’t want to leave. Because her friends and professors were there. Yuu was not there anymore.

To add to that problem, even if her friends do come to her world. Yuu would be risking a lot of things in the run of tying the knots and cutting it later. Explaining to the courtroom that she found another world would be too difficult to explain how she ended up in Twisted Wonderland and showing proof is practically non-existent unless they travel to that world. At that point, everyone would see Yuu as mentally insane. Probably forced to lock her up in a mental hospital if she told them. They wouldn’t believe in a teen’s world more than an adult who is saner.

Not to mention that the wizarding world may not be kind towards her friends as many of them were not human as another negative problem. Yuu was aware of the bigotry among the people of wizarding Britain. And she does not want to touch that can of Flobberworms mixed with Bundimun.

Yuu shoved everything back in her mind as she chided herself that she should be focusing on the hearing trial as Auror Harry took over most of the talking. He spoke as her defendant, deflecting false accusations that the court jury tried to send her way. Mr. Draco and Mrs. Hermione? They shot down many other accusations that Auror Harry couldn’t back up.

And Yuu? She wanted this hearing over with.

As the hearing trial dragged on far too long, the court jury and the people seemed to be tired out by the time. All of their ridiculous claims had been deflected at every turn. Yuu counts the grain on the ground in mere boredom. The tension in the courtroom remained tense as Yuu knew that it was time to end this hearing. As one of the jury court shouted in fists full of anger,

“You are protecting a child that is related to a Death Eater!!”

“You are forgetting that I was one too!! And I had changed ways in the past. Yet don’t you dare drag that child with that label!! If your intention for rushing this trial was to punish her without any proof. Then this trial is invalid due to your neglectance!! Because you are accusing a child who can not control her birthright as it is!!” Roared Draco. “If you are going to label that child that has done nothing wrong but to defend her peers who were in danger. Then I asked why you people are sitting on your high chairs complaining when you are supposed to do something!!”

The final nail ended the trial with Auror Draco’s words. No one dares to refute as the court judges and jury were removed from their positions by Aurors who arrived at last. Hermoine took over the trial, announcing that it was over and she had everyone’s names who were involved in this hearing. All the people in the courtroom was dismissed as the crowd dissipated almost immediately after Hermione’s words rang throughout the courtroom.

The Disciplinary hearing is now over.”

No one dares uttered a word towards Yuu as they hastily said their goodbyes to Prime Minister Hermione and Auror Harry out the door. It is quite clear that this hearing trial was rushed as an excuse for the court jury and the audience to want to frame her for these crimes that she was not able to pull off at her age. Yuu noticed that the crimes could not match her school years and childhood timelines. It was quite sloppy for a trial. Even if she did break the statute as guilty as charged. It is a miracle to get Prime Minister Hermione and Auror Harry on her side. In particular, Auror Draco surprised her more than Yuu expected it.

The courtroom was empty by the time everyone was almost gone. Yuu remains in her seat. She did not move, keeping her head down due to her hunger and exhaustion weighed her down. It was hard for Yuu to stay awake despite no chains holding her down anymore. It was evident that Yuu was tired from all the events that were happening around her. Yuu tried to stay awake; her body had other plans as her vision blurred and dark spots appeared in it as the world said goodnight.

Yuu had missed the shoutings from above her as her body collapsed. Darkness greets her in her sleep. Only the dreams assured her safety as a familiar unending yet interrupted weightlessness of limbs she had come to know came from dreaming. The dreams that she had received ever since she arrived in Twisted Wonderland. Now, Yuu was able to grasp the images that passed in and out of her mind. Visions of a dragon in a castle; the voice of a young boy echoed below an abyss of glowing blue flames; an apple surrounded by poison on the ground reflecting against a mirror; a desert, of a lamp; of an undersea cave; of a great cliff surrounded by animals; of a verdant maze of rose bushes passed over the insides of her eyelids.

All present, as the dreams change. Yuu stood briefly in the field of grass and roses. Someone joined her in her dreams. As their daybreak eyes and silver hair glittered against the afternoon light among the red roses. Silver was watching over her in her dreams as he greeted her in her dream. There, Silver talked with Yuu as he informed her that everyone was waiting for her back in Twisted Wonderland once she finished business in her world. Silver and Yuu made small talk of other things in their spare time. When Yuu asked about the others’ well-being.

Silver mentioned that Lord Malleus and the others were doing well… until they attempted to follow her into her world. But Headmaster Crowley and the staff stopped them in their tracks just in time.

But it wouldn’t be too long before everyone comes to her world by Yuu’s side in full force. Despite that, the Night Raven College staff felt the same sentiment of her friends as well. Yuu had to come up with several excuses to not let her friends go with her just yet. However, if Yuu stays in her world for too long as she had promised to her friends. Then, they will brute force their way into her world with no excuses to bring her back. To her concern, their presence could cause several waves if the two worlds ever met. And Yuu does not want that to happen.

Unfortunately, time was running out as the dream world began to obscure and crumble into darkness. It was time for her and Silver to depart as Silver used his unique magic.

“To the person I once met, to the person I will meet someday…  Meet in a Dream.”

Silver says and her vision turns white as the dream turns bright. The moment of peace slipped through her fingers so quickly that the image could not be kept in her vision, and turned to sand before her eyes opened to a white ceiling. Her dream has ended.

And she was back again in her world. Very nice as her hands curled around a space beside her. Yuu forgot that Grim was not by her side. She missed the warmth of her partner and her friends being on her side. Yuu grumbled as the sun peeked through the open curtains of the windows as she blinked at the white ceiling for quite some time as she realized that she was no longer in the courtroom. Sitting upwards, she appears to be in a medical ward. The hospital wing of Hogwarts. Back to school… Yuu came back.

Yuu thinks back that Auror-Professor Harry and Prime Minister Hermonine likely brought her here after she had collapsed in the courtroom. Instead of bringing her to a nearby hospital, they must have thought of the consequences that Yuu may face. Judging by the sealed doors of the Hospital Wing faintly glowing. They must have closed off the entrance for Yuu to rest in peace without anyone entering and attacking her.

Yuu think for a long time before glancing out the window. The dim blue sky danced with the gloomy clouds. As the sun was peeking slightly above the trees of the Forbidden Forest. Not a single student of Hogwarts flying on a broomstick was in sight. Otherwise, the sound of students’ noisy laughter would indicate that all of the students of Hogwarts were in classes or they were not at school for another reason. Something must have happened when she was out unconscious.

Looking around the hospital wing room, Yuu noticed a note from Auror Harry on a table beside her bed and she read that breakfast would be served very soon as she glanced at the clock on the table. Auror Harry’s note also mentions that he would be picking her up to bring to the Headmistress’s office. Yuu waited for the food at the moment. Leaving that aside, Yuu picked up a Daily Prophet newspaper that was lying around next to the clock.

Upon reading the terrible excuse of an article, Yuu could see her hearing trial had caused quite a stir. As it covered most of the panels and sections of the whole newspaper. The newspaper spoke of Yuu in crude and colorful words, and Yuu raised an eyebrow as the Daily Prophet mischaracterized a lot of things about the trial. For one, they blandly lied that Yuu was found guilty and was put in Azkaban prison incorrectly on their part. Two, they heroically praised Auror Harry for putting the ‘villain’ in their place. Sweeping everything of the truth under the rug. This would be up breachment of several misrepresentation cases and defamations if Wizarding Britain had those types of laws. Everyone who was in on this scheme would be facing severe punishment by the time this newspaper was published.

Looking at the editor and journalist listed in the newspaper, who wrote this ridiculous claim. It was the infamous Rita Skeeter, the gossip correspondent, the nasty journalist Auror Harry and Prime Minister Hermonine described her as. It is a miracle that journalist is still around these days.

Despite, the journalist had run Yuu’s name to the ground. It didn’t matter to her at all. After Yuu’s experience in Hogwarts, she had learned a lot of things from the four years of studying magic. Her background and status are all they look at instead of her true self. It didn’t matter to her. Used to face the negative resentment against her.

Yuu was engrossed in her thinking. She didn’t even realize someone had entered the Hospital Wing. She felt a tap on her shoulder. It was Auror Harry who brought her breakfast.

As he said, “Good Morning, Yuu.”

Handing her food in the version of British cuisine; Yuu nodded in return as she bowed and put her hands in a prayer. She thanked the Auror-Professor for the meal and ate in silence. Auror Harry kept quiet only checking to see any missing injuries that the medical staff may have missed last night.

Auror Harry did not ask any questions about her disappearance, only telling her that the court that tried to rig the trial was demoted and cut from their salary as punishment.

Yuu raised her eye when Auror Harry mentioned that he and his wife Ginny Weasley decided to punish their youngest son Albus along with Auror Draco Malfoy who in turn punished his son Scorpius for meddling with illegal Time-Turners. He bowed his head at a perfect ninety-degree angle. Yuu was in a whirlwind of shock and confusion, Auror Harry cleared up the misunderstanding that she may have in her stirring head; thanking her for everything.

“If it wasn’t for your presence and quick thinking; The Wizarding world of Britain and the rest of the world would be in danger of collapsing in unforeseen events far more worse than the Second Wizarding War… To why I am thanking you. Not because I am the leader of the Auror department But I thank you as a father for saving my son.”

Yuu could only accept the praises and thanks of the world-famous hero in silence before being whisked away in a wheelchair once she finished eating. Auror Harry flicked his wand to clear the dishes as he had given her back her possessions from the authority that had taken them from her. As she held her trusted wand. Auror Harry told her that the Magic Ministry was not so keen on letting go of her unique things and wand; advising her that they wouldn’t let her off in another trial if she got caught again.

Yuu silently nodded her head as she whipped out her wand to change her clothes and put on her huge oversized coat over her clothes. They headed to their destination as the whole trek was quiet. Auror-Professor Harry remained quiet in respect of Yuu who stared at the empty hallways and corridors of stoned walls similar to Night Raven College castle grounds.

Not a single student was present in plain sight. The empty hallways unnerved Yuu as there was a feeling that Yuu could never describe when she glanced at the cracks peering on the walls. Yuu felt discontent with the presence of upcoming doom awaiting her despite the weather being sunny and warm in the spring season. Yuu was grateful that Auror-Professor Harry did not ask her questions at the moment as he guided her wheelchair to the stairs that led to Headmistress Minerva McGonagall’s office.

Because Yuu would answer everything that she knew. Since she had stirred enough trouble to trigger a hearing trial that nearly landed her in jail for eternity. There was no doubt that the Headmistress of Hogwarts would raise an eye rather than ignore at arm's length as usual.

As Yuu and Auror-Professor Harry reached the gargoyle on the third floor; guarding the entrance to the Headmistress’ office.

Auror-Professor Harry muttered the password in a whisper; causing the gargoyle to step aside in response. Revealing the moving stone staircase; Auror-Professor Harry helped Yuu out of the wheelchair onto the stairs, moving them towards the doorsteps of the Headmistress’ office.

Knocking on the door three times.

“You may enter.” A curled voice on the other side, let them inside.

The Headmistress’ office was a large, beautiful circular room full of funny little noises. Several curious silver instruments stood on spindle-legged tables, whirring and emitting little puffs of smoke. It was aligned with stacks of several books on cluttered tables. Flying quills zoomed overhead as they zipped and glided near the ceiling. Followed by the walls were covered with portraits of old headmasters and headmistresses, all of whom were snoozing gently in their frames as well; shelves of books that remained untouched and gathered dusty over time. There was also an enormous, claw-footed desk, and, sitting on a shelf behind it, a shabby, tainted wizard's hat; the Sorting hat. The ceiling was decorated with red and gold banners symbolizing the house of Gryffindors.

And a fireplace… where the floor had been dirtied by black soot flung everywhere. With the footprints on the wooden and stoned floors. Yuu guessed that the fireplace was a Floo powder transportation. As she faced to see the front desk; there was a rather severe-looking woman who was wearing square glasses. The woman was wearing her signature emerald cloak. Her faded black hair streaks; now dark gray was drawn into a tight bun; covered by a pointed hat woven in golden markings. She looked distinctly ruffled, if not by the fact, that there were people right beside her desk.

Prime minister Hermine Granger and her husband Ron Weasley; Scorpius and his father Draco Malfoy. Albus and; his mother and Auror Harry’s wife Ginny Weasley were all present and covered in faint soot. As Albus and Scorpius waved at her with withering expressions Yuu guessed that they were scolded by their parents.  The Headmistress ignored them as she watched Auror-Professor Harry guide Yuu to a seat in front of the desk. Yuu greeted the Headmistress Minerva McGonagall as she sat.

“Good morning, Headmistress McGonagall.”

“Good morning to you as well. Miss Yuu.” The headmistress clicked her tongue at the paperwork that piled behind her back. “A lot of things have happened ever since your disappearance and reappearance. However, that being said.”

Headmistress McGonagall locks eyes on Yuu with a stern tone.

“You have a lot of explaining what you have been doing during your little adventure.”

“Yes… Headmistress.” Yuu said as she winced at the Headmistress’ sharp words. “I will explain what happened. It started—”

From the beginning of the school year, Yuu explains what had happened detailing what she remembers down to where she manages to come back in a successful attempt. She was planning to head to Hogwarts to speak with Headmistress McGonagall until Yuu heard that Albus and Scorpius were in danger. Yuu had to change course and save them instead.

After doing so, Yuu triggered the trace and handed herself in as an excuse to cover for the boys which is why she ended up in a rushed trial in the end. However, no one answered her nor questioned her.

Lifting her head, Yuu looked around in confusion. Headmistress McGonagall had her mouth covered as her eyebrows frowned at her words but her pale green eyes remained on Yuu. Prime Minister Hermione stood grimly as her hands shook slightly. Her husband Ron Wealsey’s usual smile vanished; being replaced by a grimace. Draco Malfoy was stunned next to him. Albus and Scorpius were utterly confused; unlike the adults in the room, who both stared at Yuu like she was some sort of Blast-Ended Skrewt experiment in her third year. Auror Harry? He remained so quiet behind her that Yuu was afraid to look back as she was starting to get scared by the long silence.

Their reactions were similar to her friends in Twisted Wonderland. Yuu was worried that her words may seem outlandish for someone who landed in a new world without anything. As she had no proof that she ended up in a new world. And the only way to prove is to see it for themselves. Yuu thought they would dismiss her words without care.

However, no one objected to her words nor ignored her words so she assumed that they were taking her words as a grain of salt in the ocean.

Yuu remembers how Headmistress McGonagall pulled Yuu into her office and chided her for being so socially averse. Warn her about how others would never see past the blood in her veins. Tell her how much she did not want a repeat of the 1940s, and carefully observe her—perhaps out of duty, perhaps out of caution, and surely out of some bemusement and fear. Yuu thought the Headmistress’s words were ironic to her like the rest of the people at Hogwarts, except for maybe Auror-Professor Potter, Minerva McGonagall seemed to hold Yuu at arm’s length carefully. It was likely the case that everyone in the room seemed to hold that same opinion of her.

They wouldn’t believe her.

And Yuu would not be correcting their suspicions. Yuu had kept some things under wraps for the time being. In her shortened explanation and summary of what happened, Yuu chose to exclude non-human beings as it would not be wise to tell the whole world that there are species other than humans who also can use magic.

Fae, Therianthropes, and Mefolks were subjects untouched by the Wizarding world of Britain. And it would not be wise to spill all of her cards at once… Yuu assumed it was the best option to vaguely describe her journey in a new world.

‘Yeah, definitely, the best action to take at this point.’ Yuu thought. However, everyone in this room may notice her words are weak to excuse her actions as Auror Harry steps forward and asks,

“Why did you break the trace then?” Auror Harry croaked in hesitation as Yuu could see his skin that slowly turn paler by the minute. She had never seen him with a grim expression.

“Why?” Yuu repeated the hero’s words before she swallowed a lump of doubt down. “Because…”

Yuu knew she would break the Statute of Secrecy again and again for her friends even if she could rethink her choice over regret. ‘My friends’ life was worth it. They’re worth it more to her as her world.’ As–

“I simply did it for my friends. I knew that breaking the Statute of Secrecy had the consequences of being punished as severely as any underaged teen who violated the law, and was expecting to receive only the punishment that I deserved at the end of the hearing with my head high. However, this was not the case when you–”

Auror Harry Potter.

“And the others (Prime Minister Hermonine and Auror Draco)— who defended me, was it not? So tell me?” Turning her head; meeting the soft emerald eyes of the hero himself. “What do you think about this trial?”

“It was an unfair trial due to the higher-ups in the law department for rushing a trial without approval among the council.” Prime Minister Hermonine told Yuu. “You broke the trace so you could take the blame?

“Not only that. But you somehow laid hands on an illegal time-turner as well?” Headmistress McGonagall was appalled by this new whirlwind of information as Yuu nodded to her words.

“Yes, if I left it in the hands of someone who would use it for bad intentions. I would prefer to take it into my own hands and destroy the Time-Turner. It was the best option than giving it to the Ministry as I heard some people were making illegal Time-Turners without the Ministry knowing.”

Meaning that even if the Ministry gets a hold of a Time Turner. People would try to get a hold of one through connections. How Albus and Scorpius in question, manage to snag one. Everyone moves their eyes towards them, staring at the boys in mind.

“Leaving a Time-Turner untouched means that anyone would get their hands on it and do things for the worse,” Yuu said. “Unfortunately, those people had used Albus and Scorpius as their tools to get the Time-Turner and spread chaos in their influence instead.”

“So that was your reason that you had accepted that you are guilty..?” Auror Harry asked as he held his stomach with unease.  Even Headmistress McGonagall was unsure of Yuu’s resolve as everyone was concerned about her.

‘No regrets?’ Echoed in her mind. Yuu did not answer that thought as she met the eyes of everyone. They returned it back to her. Albus and Scorpius wanted to say something in protest but nothing came out of their mouths.

Yuu’s eyes dimmed before briefly glancing around the room once again. As Auror Harry and the others paled at her resignation of declaration. As Yuu answered Auror Harry’s words.

“Yes. I have no doubt nor regret in my decision. As I would be found guilty even in a rushed poor excuse of a trial or not. I always knew that I was…

G̵̮̎̂͑͗̋̓ȕ̵͎̮̯̲̹̰͚̻͑̌̆̐̓̾͊͐̿̿̌̚i̶̡̪̮͓̠̥͇̖̣̽͊͗̂̎́̒͛̓̃̽͜͠͠l̴̰͌̈́͒̊̌̿͒̉̋̀̓̔͊̓͘t̴̨͎͙̹̭̫̥͓͈̘͍͙̏̑̀̃̆̃̅̕͝͠͝ͅÿ̷̨̹͔͍͖̯͖̫̖́͐͝

In the purpose of sparing Albus and Scorpius from the messy ordeals. I committed the crime.”

No matter what, Yuu did commit the crime several times in her purely selfish interests in another separate world of magic. She had accepted that fact and what would happen to her. Thinking back on the trial. It would be favorable to Yuu even if she was found guilty and punished that way; Yuu would have disappeared quietly and left this world behind without looking back.

“I would not care that I personally stained my standing as it is already in the dirt once I was born into this world,” Yuu told them. As the reason, she knew what this world was like— And she could never be accepted by the non-magical nor the wizardry society.

Yuu had given up on fitting among the people of this world. As she never stood a chance. The odds were always in someone’s favor over her no matter what no one would believe a child of a death eater. Yuu was getting tired of it. She always will be that child of a death eater no matter what. The wizard society will look at her stained background but never herself. At that point, she doesn’t care that she was punished for it as she meets the green eyes of the Auror. The expression on his face.

Yuu can’t help but hate that look. Sympathy and pity were in his eyes.

“How long?” Auror-Professor Harry rasped. “How long have you been planning this?”

“... Not for a long time,” Yuu admitted… In the beginning, Yuu just planned to return and remain in her world as her ‘supposed’ responsibility. However, things happened and she had to change plans. “When I was in another world, many people taught me many ways before I came back to this world.”

As the lights in the Headmistress’s office flickered and swayed by a mystery force. A shadow covered the whole castle. Engulfing it whole in darkness. Everyone shook as a tremble in the ground, gave away as the roar of a dragon could be heard. Yuu could hear Malleus outside as he circles the castle of Hogwarts. His footsteps were loud as stone and dirt vibrated beneath his body.

Yuu knew if Malleus was here then, the others must be inside Hogwarts. Meaning that her stay was up and it was time to go back.

Headmistress McGonagall shouted urgently. Prime Minister Hermonine and Auror Harry follow in pursuit of fighting the intruders of Hogwarts, ordering that everyone remain inside the office as Auror Draco and Ron Weasley are on their guard to protect everyone. Yuu slowly got up from her chair as Ginny Weasley ushered her to huddle with Albus and Scorpius in a safe area of the headmistress’s office.

Everyone could hear the Hogwarts castle start to descend into chaos. Yuu could now hear students' screams while the professors and staff tried to control everything. She knew that Grim and her friends were here as Professor Filius Flitwick’s voice squeaked, “A talking weasel?!”

Followed by the banging and rumbling of explosions. It was safe to say; Yuu have to leave right now. As the adults and the boys had their backs turned. Yuu held out her wand and tapped her head with the ending of the tip, the tickle-tingling sensation of pretend liquid dumped down as it trickled from the crown of her head to the toes and overtook her whole body for a few seconds before she had the Disillusionment charm in place.

Once that spell was covered, Yuu managed to slip out quietly as everyone was distracted by the unknown attackers. Yuu ended up cursing herself several minutes later.

Getting lost in a hallway with no sense of direction was not in Yuu’s plan as she fast-think her way to get to her friends. Even with magic tracking. The walls of Hogwarts was very determined to separate her and her friends from finding each other. Amidst the chaos, Yuu kept her pace as she swiftly ran through each hallway and kept her balance as she got onto the grand staircase.

Yuu made it to the castle's seventh floor in the left corridor of Hogwarts castle. A faint ding could be heard; stopping her in her tracks. She opened her phone from her coat and it began to buzz and ring in her hand. Yuu swiped her finger on the screen to see numerous messages dinging on the home phone; so many messages that took up all of her screen Yuu could feel the pressure on her as she remembered the several thundering footsteps coming near the Headmistress’s office.

Yuu moved away from the Headmistress’s office beforehand as she knew that it was a distraction to throw off the residents of Hogwarts. As she reached the area where the Room of Requirement would likely appear, she quickly made haste as she ran past the room three times and she pleaded for the thing that she required.

The door finally appears.

As Yuu swiftly enters. Dissipated her spell as she entered the room. Everyone else was here as the others who were causing a ruckus; returned back as they entered through the paintings and secret entrances of Hogwarts. As Yuu had shared the layout of Hogwarts in the past before she left first to her world.

They planned to cause mayhem at least at the school grounds of Hogwarts to take Yuu back as a staged kidnapping they called it. Not that Yuu cares. As everyone wore their ceremonial robes, the people who saw the attackers of Hogwarts; would believe that a new group of terrorists is rising as a front. Carefully planned; Yuu cast several spells to keep her friends’ identity from being noticed.

They all stared at the center of the room. Where the Mirror of Erised resides. It was time to go. As most of her friends enter through the clear mirror glass. Yuu muttered under her breath,

“I guess I will end this and cut ties with this world once and for all.”

The doors slammed open behind her and the remaining of her friends as Auror Harry and Headmistress McGonagall came in; running as Yuu was one of the last people to enter through the Mirror of Erised.

Yuu had business to finish as her friends understood her intentions as they left first before casting several defensive spells onto the mirror and Yuu.

“So Headmistress and Auror– no Professor. I would like to say something before cutting off the connection. It has been a pleasure being taught by both of you.” Yuu says as she could feel the castle repairing itself. “Because … I am done with this world.”

As Yuu entered the mirror. The world warps into a spiraling void, pulling Yuu back to Twisted Wonderland. The Mirror of Erised titled and fell after she left. Leaving pieces of what remained of the mirror.

Yuu closed her eyes as her former world asked, “Will you regret what you have done?”

Yuu pondered as she heard this similar sentence. Over and over.

“…You won’t regret not backing out when you had the chance?” One asked in a whisper to her side.

“No regrets?” A long-forgotten voice echoed in her memory. However, Yuu knew the answer. As she replied. “No, I will not.”

Yuu simply laughs as she takes Ace’s and Deuce’s hands as the wizardry world spins in her vision.

Everyone and Grim welcomes her back with the words.

“Welcome back Yuu. Glad to have you back.”

-

Before Auror Harry and Yuu went to the headmistress; before the chaos had descended upon Hogwarts. They had a longer conversation as Yuu had her thoughts slip from her mind. She told Auror Harry that she would be dropping out of Hogwarts. Auror Harry did not hold his surprise as he was aware of the bullying and discrimination Yuu had faced. He asked what her reasons were as in the past Yuu would not think of giving up the education of pursuing magic and magical creatures.

Yuu hesitated as she slowly said, “Back then, in Hogwarts, I never was able to fit in… So I distanced myself from everyone. Gave up on everything. In fact, I couldn’t make friends here. I had little self-esteem for myself.”

Looking back, Yuu had a rose-tinted mirror that she couldn’t realize her self-value. “Every time that I see people who are cool and powerful. I think ‘those guys were really amazing, huh? I’m the only one who isn’t amazing…’”

Yuu was blinded with self-doubt as she looked at a small mirror on one of the tables. Yuu could see the blue-hue eyes staring back at her. They shone like jewels in the moonlight. Her body was more elegant that Yuu would not believe it if someone told her that she would be a up-standing figure in the future. Yuu would have thought they were crazy sticking their hand in a dragon’s mouth.

Now Yuu stands against the past. “Out of all things to learn… That I learn… What do you think was the hardest? Professor?”

Yuu asked as she simply grinned at him. “How to smile sincerely.”

Those thoughts were still in her head, hiding in the farthest reaches of her mind.

Harry Potter just stared at Yuu in disbelief. Gone was the black sheep of the House Ravenclaw. In that place was a fierce Witch fought against the odds; the timid and quiet child that let everyone step on top of her. Now, the ground shook. Her blue eyes met his bright green eyes; like gemstones that hold the stars within. Very different from what Harry remembers her dulled eyes in the past. Reminds him of the bullied friend, Luna Lovegood in bitter regret despite she is thriving happily.

Thinking back, Auror Harry looks at the shattered mirror. As the shards of glass reflected at him. He smiled as he said, “I wish you; the best in your endeavors.”
