I know how I want this story to go, I just don't know all the little details yet.If you're along for the ride, great! Otherwise, I hope you find what you are looking for. <3

Post War Events According to Rita

7 September, 1998
Well, color me intrigued! After months of trials, the great Wizengamot–in an act that I fear to which the public will not take kindly–has decided to show apparent mercy to the infamous Malfoy Family, known conspirators in the self-proclaimed Dark Lord’s inner circle during the Second Wizarding War. Despite other notable Death Eaters receiving as much as the dementor’s kiss or life-time sentences to Azkaban, the three Malfoys (Lucius (44), Narcissa nee Black (43), and Draco (18)) have managed to escape with mere house arrest, if our sources are to be believed. While details of this strange punishment are, of course, limited, you know your favorite author was able to find more.

Apparently, there is to be a curse set upon the family and their lands, which only upon breaking, will allow the house arrest to end and the Malfoys to once again walk free. Undoubtedly, that will be in no time as the Malfoys are known to have enough money to bribe the aid of any and all curse breakers willing to forego their morals to cushion their purses. One has to wonder how this is to be any punishment at all for the Malfoy family. What is our dear Wizengamot thinking?

Of course I will keep you up to date as I know more! Rita Skeeter never fails to find the gossip.

In other news, our Golden Trio is taking on the Department of Magical Law Enforcement as Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley are to be accepted into the Auror training program while Hermione Granger has accepted an apprenticeship in Records and Journalism. Read more about their career choices and find a summary of the Death Eater trails on pages 5 and 6.

Well, well, well. It has been almost four months since the Malfoys were locked into their estate and the five known properties owned by the Malfoys vanished from sight, presumably under a form of the Fidelius Charm. Who knows what the notorious family is up to within their property limits! Not a peep has come out of these spaces, but seeing as they are still unseen, it’s time to assume even the Malfoys could not buy their way out of this punishment. Perhaps the wise Wizengamot knows what they are doing after all. Only time will tell, but when it does, you know Rita Skeeter will be the first to share the gossip.

In other news, the Greengrass sisters (Daphne (19) and Astoria (17)) have gone missing! Read the full scoop on page 5.

15 March 1999
Harry Potter proves his heroics yet again! After two months of searching, Harry Potter and his team of Aurors found Daphne Greengrass alone, shivering, and without a complete memory in the Selwood Forest area. She has returned home and will be working with memory specialists from St. Mungos to hopefully restore the events of the past couple of months to her. The hope is that they can then track down her younger sister, Astoria, who is still missing. In the meantime, Harry Potter will be receiving an award for his outstanding performance, which is well deserved! Leave it to Rita Skeeter to keep you up to date on the accolades of the bravest wizard of his generation.

In other news, the lovebirds of the Golden Trio (Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley) have split! Reasons have not been released, but we got a recent photograph of Miss Granger with one Charles Weasley (26), well-known dragon tamer visiting home from Romania, embracing in Diagon Alley this past weekend. Could the brains of the trio be trading in one brother for another? WIth her sordid past, this author thinks it’s a distinct possibility! More details and copy of the photograph on page 6.

The mystery deepens! We now have four different cases of women going missing only to appear in the Selwood Forest area a month later with their memory fractured. Other than their memories being wiped of the time they were missing, these women are all in perfect health and show no clear signs of being harmed in any way. Perhaps it is a new trend for young women to “find themselves” in Wiltshire? I can’t help but notice the proximity to the mysteriously shroud Malfoy estate. Is this a mere coincidence or is something more nefarious going on? Afterall, the Malfoy dungeons have known captives before, but why would they let them leave is the question! If there is anything you can be sure of, it is that Rita Skeeter will get to the bottom of this mystery and report it.

In other news, missing from the social life are Pansy Perkinson, Theodore Nott, and Blaise Zabini, all noted to have been good friends with Draco Malfoy in his Hogwarts days. See my theories of where they could be on page 6.

BREAKING NEWS!!! HARRY POTTER IS MISSING!!! After attempting a top secret solo mission, Wizarding Britain's most heroic man failed to report in at his checkpoint on New Year’s Day. Poor Genivera Weasley, perhaps never to be Potter, is beside herself searching for her lost fiance. Where could he be? Who could he be with? All details I have are on page 5.
