Chapter 1
Lily wakes up in a dim room, dazed and confused. She sits up and rubs her eyes, trying to adjust them to the darkness. As her eyes scan the room, she sees a timer with a series of red lights steadily blinking above a heavy-looking steel door. The air is thick with tension, making her already pounding heart race even faster. She takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
How did she get here?
After the count down reaches 0, the door opens and the long hallway is brightly illuminated. The hallway extends for a considerable distance, and a door is visible at the far end. Lily cautiously leaves the room and walks down the hallway. She doesn't know where this place is or why she is here, but the only chance for her to escape is to keep going. As she continues to walk, she can't help but wonder why she was brought here.
As Lily walks down the hallway, a chilling sensation washes over her as she spots a two-way mirror. Inside the other room, a noose hangs menacingly from the ceiling, and Lily can't tear her gaze away from the horrifying sight. The room is empty except for the noose, and the cold grey walls seem to whisper secrets. Lily shivers as she realizes the implications of the scene she has stumbled upon. As her heartbeat races, her mind reels with the question of why this ominous room exists.
There's a blood that splattered across the wall, it's look like it was scratch by some desperate creatures trying to escaped.
As Lily reaches the end of the hallway, she is confronted by a locked door, a 4-digit electronic keypad mounted on the wall beside it. Feeling claustrophobic and on edge, she begins to try every possible combination in desperation, but none seems to work.
As Lily desperately tries to unlock the door, her frustration mounts. She realizes that giving in to despair won't help her escape the nightmare she is now trapped in. Drawing on every ounce of courage she possesses, she determines to focus on the task at hand. She closes her eyes briefly and takes a deep breath, calming herself and clearing her mind.
After failing to enter the keypad's code multiple times, Lily decided to go back to the room she awoke in, hoping to discover any clues she may have initially overlooked. As she walks back down the corridor, Lily's mind starts to race with thoughts. Why was she put here? Who was behind this? Was she a hostage
was there a chance for escape?
As Lily returns to the room where she had awakened, a shiver runs through her body, and she finds herself once more transfixed by the eerie sight before her. It's as if the darkness of the room has intensified, plunging the room deeper into shadows.
With a pounding heart, Lily meticulously examines every inch of the gloomy room. Her eyes dart around looking for any clues or even the slightest hint of a way out, but she finds nothing. Only the haunting noose and the smeared blood on the walls remain. Her fear grows as she realizes she's trapped in a room designed to instill terror without any apparent escape.
Lily sinks to the ground, her frustration boiling over. All her emotions seem to be swirling chaotically, on the verge of overwhelming her.
As Lily sits on the floor, the memories of the strange countdown above the door flood her mind. She remembers the ticking timer that led her into this room and the eerie silence as it reached zero. With newfound determination, Lily rises to her feet. Despite not knowing the significance of the timer or its connection to the room's secrets, she is resolved to explore every possibility in her quest to escape.
Lily jumps up and manages to reach the clock, her fingers trembling with anticipation. To her disappointment, there's nothing out of the ordinary about the timer itself. No hidden messages, no buttons or switches, it's just a standard countdown clock.
In her anger and frustration, Lily impulsively hurls the timer against the wall, smashing it into pieces. To her surprise, a small note pops out from the broken timer. It's the only shred of hope she's found so far. As she picks up the note and reads the words upon it, her heart flutters with curiosity and hope.
